We designed the villa to be our dream place to stay, a luxurious and comfortable home with an amazing seafront location and a flavour of the middle east in its design. Because it is on the first floor and there are no higher buildings in the area it was possible to build a large terrace that combines privacy with panoramic sea views. The front living area/second bedroom has large picture windows and doors onto the terrace, with the aim of bringing the views and light into the villa. The front of the villa is shaded by a wooden slatted pergola and a palm tree that grows up through the terrace.

We have incorporated traditional Arabic designs in the carved wood doors, ceilings, and furniture, all made by local craftsmen. In addition the villa is furnished with bedouin rugs and hangings and Arabic fittings. We built a Morrocan-style tiled bathroom with steps up to a raised bath.

The villa adjoins a small hotel (Seaview Hotel) and has a separate side entrance (up a flight of stairs). The balcony of the master bedroom looks over the hotel swimming pool, which along with all hotel facilities can be used by villa guests. The hotel has its own dive centre which can rent snorkel gear as well as organising dives and PADI dive courses. Hotel staff can book trips, taxis, provide a laundry service (the laundry in Dahab is very cheap, around 10 pence per item), and are happy to advise guests on any aspect of their stay. In addition they can have meals sent up to the villa and arrange for shopping and fresh bread to be delivered.

The housekeeping staff will clean the villa daily (see below for charge) and will ensure that there is a welcome pack of bottles of water and milk and fresh fruit as well as tea, coffee, and sugar.

Please note that young children should be supervised on the terrace and the balcony of the master bedroom. 

I fell in love with Dahab over 16 years ago and have long wanted to build a villa here but couldnt find the right location. Bringing my husband and young baby to Dahab made me want a home here even more. When the chance to build a villa right on the seafront in the Masharaba area came up we were very happy. In addition we were building in partnership with one of my oldest friends in Dahab, which meant that we could use the best local craftsmen and materials.

The Mashraba area is a quiet and clean area of Dahab on the seafront next to a beautiful and pristine stretch of coral reef, with soft and hard corals and an amazing variety of fish. Getting from the villa to the sea takes only a few seconds.

The property sleeps 2 luxuriously, 4 comfortably, and 6 at most. It consists of a master double bedroom with private balcony and a large lounge/dining area that fronts onto the seaview terrace. The lounge/diner has sliding doors that can be used to turn it into a second bedroom plus smaller lounge area (each with a custom-made double sofabed). Up to 6 people can stay, but those in the smaller lounge area have less privacy as this area is open to the kitchen via the breakfast bar. We now have a gas hob installed in the kitchen. The villa adjoins a small hotel and all hotel facilities, including the swimming pool, can be used by villa guests.

The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 2 double and 1 cots. The property also has 2 double sofa beds located in the the second bedroom and the lounge. This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the apartment cool.

The apartment has television satellite/cable.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle. You will also find a clothes drier. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The apartment is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a north facing patio area, a east facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views.
