Very calm and quiet area. Good for rest, winter sun (more than 300 days a year), or for fun in summer vacations. One of the top white sand Beaches in Algarve and south west Europe.
It is located in the centre of Natural Park Ria Formosa. The beautifull island of Armona has no car traffic. Must take the ferry (10 minutes) from Olhao. One trip is 0.60€.
Regional specialties at close restaurants: best fish and sea food, regional cheese, red, green and sweet wines. Sites to see: Tavira, Ria Formosa National Park, Summer festivals (sea food and Sardine, Musical), Ecotourism, Trekking, biking.

Lovely, clean, quiet,very well equipped, we were only there for 4 nights but felt relaxed straight away after arriving. Great BBQ and outside area.
Not quite panoramic views, more like trees and other houses!!
but the beach was close & excellent.
