This beautiful Villa is in one of the most perfect situations for a wonderful holiday, just an easy 5 minute drive from the beautiful fishing village of Burgau, yet situated in a scenic peaceful location.

It is sited on the small hamlet of Caminho Do Infante which consists of a few detached Villas and is close to many activities and places of interest.

Only a short distance to the main route to Cape St Vincente N125 so an ideal base for anybody wishing to tour the Algarve or indeed just the local area and all it has to offer.

2 of the best Golf courses on the Algarve Parque de Floresta & Boavista are within a 5 minute drive and many more such as Palmares & Pennina are betwen 10 - 20 minutes away by car.
Special rates can be arranged for golf by the owners if you make the request prior to your holiday.

Surrounded by rustic countryside with many lovely walks it really is a superb location.

We strongly recommend that you hire a car whilst staying at this villa and would be happy to book cars for visitors at very reasonable rates.


 

Interior
Beautifully decorated and furnished with stylish and quality pieces.

Main living area is large bright and airy and consists of open plan Lounge/Diner with comfortable seating for 8 in both areas. Large screen TV with lots of channels including soaps and Sky News, Surround sound music system and many other extras.
Glazed doors lead onto the terraces from every area of the villa.

Kitchen is again superbly fitted with everything you could need including coffee machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer, toaster etc and opens into the dining area making it ideal to be able to chat while you are preparing your meals.

Family Bedroom on the ground floor with double bed and full size single.

Main Bathroom housing bath with shower over, toilet, bidet, wash basin.

Stairs to the first floor (fitted with stair gate for little ones)

Master bedroom has a Queen size bed, and lots of fitted wardrobes, TV, and en suite with corner bath and shower over, twin vanity sinks and loo, 2 sets of glazed doors lead out from the bedroom onto the 2 balconies, ideal for that early morning cup of coffee in the sun looking out over the landscape.

On the same floor there is another double bedroom with fitted wardrobes, again with its own full en suite and doors out to its own private balcony with landscape views.

Outside
The outside of this property is superb, it has terraces on 2 sides of the villa with the really good sized pool 8 metres x 4 metres situated in the main terrace and just a step or two from the Villa itself so you can lie in the sun on your sunbed with your drink in your hand while watching the children play and swim, if you have no children just enjoy the peace and the sun and a dip or a swim to cool off. Bar B Q for al fresco dining complements the outside areas.

Smoking inside the villa is not allowed, however you can smoke as much as you like in the outside areas and ashtrays will be provided.

The owners during the letting season live in a small studio at the side of the villa which is shut off from the villa and the grounds by traditional fencing.


 

Villa Leonardo is just a 5 minute drive along a scenic road into the Beautiful fishing village of Burgau. Or indeed a healthy 45 minute walk.

Whilst small the village has 24 restaurants and bars catering for every taste and pocket including the famous Beach Bar.

Burgau also boasts 2 Newsageants, 2 supermarkets, 2 wine shops, 3 gift shops, Estate Agent, Property Management and its own cash machine. - The Sports centre just outside of the village and not far from Villa Leonardo has a swimming pool, football, squash and tennis courts all of which you can use, and also run a very good children’s activity programme.

Scuba Diving and Surfing schools are in Burgau village and activities take place from the beach regularly.

Burgau is serviced by a good bus service and taxis, but we most definately recomend car hire for guests staying at this property and are happy to book them for you at the best prices available.

Golfing parties Haven. 3 of the best golf courses less than 10 minutes drive (Floresta Parque, Boavista & Palmares).

Just a few minutes drive along the 125 is another pretty little fishing village called Salema which again has very good restaurants, a few shops and a lovely sandy beach.

Less than ten minutes drive to the historical town of Lagos with its beautiful Marina and many famous sites such as the Slave Market.
Half an hour from the West Coast and less to the port of Sagres and Cape St Vincent the furthest point in Europe. 

This property is only to let in the summer months as the owners themselves live in it the rest of the year. (During the letting season the owners live in a studio apartment at the side of the villa which is made private from their guests by discreet fencing). Consequently Villa Leonardo is equipped superbly with wide screen TV with all the channels including SKY News, Soaps, Euro sport and many others. Also includes surrond sound Dolby system and the latest DVDs etc. The outside terraces are on 2 sides of the Villa and have tables and chairs and full sunbeds, and there are 3 balconies from 2 of the bedrooms. The property is in a rural situation with rustic views and surrounding countryside. The areas and roads surrounding the villa have recently been adopted by the local council and are due to be re surfaced in the near future.

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 3 double and 2 cots, 2 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 single sofa bed located in the Full size single bed in the family room. This gives room for up to 7 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 3 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

They may be if they are very well behaved and by prior arrangement with the owners. A damage deposit may be asked for that will be returnable at the end of your stay If your pet has behaved.

The villa is right beside walking, cycling, mountain biking.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, swimming, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, climbing, flying, horse riding, golf, tennis, a sports center, scuba diving, historic sites, a museum, a zoo, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

The pool was great and the villa was well equipped and supported by its owners. A car is required, but the villa is well situated for beaches on the South and the West."
