Inside you will find an extensively equipped kitchen, plenty to keep the kids amused, and a homely feel.
 

Herons Rest is situated in the charming White marsh area. A peaceful community of with homes and recreation carefully placed amid nature preserves spanning thousands of acres. Rotonda is an area that caters for many interests and pursuits. With its relaxed atmosphere and abundant wildlife, there is something for everyone, from the renowned golf courses on your doorstep to the white sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. There are local, free tennis courts and cycling trails and the villa is equipped with two sets of Calloway golf clubs, four bicycles and tennis racquets.Fishing rods are provided for use off your own dock!

 

The south-facing pool and deck provide a constant sun-trap from sunrise to sunset. With modern, spacious living, this villa has been built to the highest standards and has been beautifully furnished as a home. The accommodation is open-plan and fully air conditioned. It has a large living room with a separate dining area. The kitchen has a breakfast bar and every modern convenience you could need. Living room boasts a 42 plasma TV with HD cable for when you want to just relax indoors!
The wall-to-wall patio doors in the living room and dining area overlook the screened patio and pool, where you can breakfast as the sun rises or enjoy evening dining as it sets. A further sundeck leads to the waterway docking, where you can fish or just relax in the sun. Sun loungers are provided, as well as beach chairs and such for days at the coast. The villa has fencing around the perimeter, which creates a private garden that incorporates a separate sun-bathing area. The Master bedroom has a king-sized bed and en-suite bathroom complete with "his and hers" wash basins, a separate toilet and large walk-in rain shower. A patio door opens up onto the pool area. Bedroom Two, with a queen-sized bed, and the third bedroom with its two single beds share a second bathroom with a bath and shower. All three bedrooms have their own televisions. The Master and second bedrooms have patio door-access to the pool area.

The double garage has been carpeted and curtained in a "den" style, with a sofa that pulls out into a double bed, allowing more living space for additional friends or members of the family, who may dro p by. It even has its own TV.

The villa also contains a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board and hair dryers.

A small alcove from the kitchen houses an "office", complete with a desk, a computer with internet access, printer/photocopier, fax and telephone with free local calls.
The villa is child friendly with a high chair and cot provided.

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin and 1 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the Garage. This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.

The villa has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. A computer with Internet connection is also available for your use. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming calls only and a fax machine.

There is room for 7 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Richard says: "We have stayed in many villas in Florida and this is without doubt the best! Beautiful and clean with all the appliances (including a good quality TV) you could wish for. The bed in the master bedroom is amongst the most comfortable we have ever slept in. The wildlife is spectacular, with alligators, herons, turtles and best of all the Anhinga. Not to be missed. Situation wise, this villa is probably in the most ideal spot in Rotonda - very quiet, yet very accessible to beaches, restaurants and (for the wife), shops. I would have no hesitation in recommending Herons Rest to anyone."
