This privately owned and beautifully refurbished apartment enjoys high standards of decoration, fittings and furniture. The apartment is on the top floor of a renovated 200 year-old farmhouse and retains all the traditional Alpine features.
The main living area has an oak floor with comfy sofas and open views across the valley from a huge picture window. There is a dining table with 6 chairs and a quality new kitchen with oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave, and solid oak worktops.
The master bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite shower room and loo. The family bedroom has a double bed and single bed (plus room for a cot if needed). The mezzanine bedroom has 2 single beds.
The accommodation is ideal for 5 yo 6 guests. A maximum of 7 can be accommodated, easily if with children but not recommended if all adults.
There is a family bathroom with bath, shower and loo. There is also a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Parking is in the village just 30 metres away. There are boot driers in the apartment and ski lockers in the chalet entrance hall. There is a TV with sky and dvd, speakers for iPod/mp3 and wifi internet access is available.

The chalet is located in the quiet hamlet of Chandon which offers a real alternative to the main resort of Méribel Town, for those seeking a less frenetic holiday location. Chandon is a real village where the local people live and the apartment is on a road so quiet that kids sledge down it.
The main Meribel lifts are a 5 minute drive and you can ski back to the village most of the season. The free bus service stops just 20 metres from the chalet and operates very regularly throughout the day and evening.
