Merbau is a stylish apartment, in a newly-built urban villa, located a short walk away from the famous Stari Grad (Old Town), boasting gorgeous views across Dubrovnik and the Adriatic. All the front rooms in the apartment lead to the large balcony which runs the length of the flat giving visitors a panoramic view of the city from the fortress of Lovrjenac to Lapad bay and the islands beyond. The outdoor dining area is shaded and is perfect for watching the sun set over the stunning Adriatic Islands to the west of Dubrovnik.

Inside, the flat is finished to an extremely high standard, but designed with stylish comfort in mind. The floors are dark merbau parquet, the kitchen features appliances by Siemens and Liebherr (including a large fridge - a must for the hot Adriatic climate) and the LG flatscreen television in the living room can be enjoyed from comfy couches, should you fancy a quiet night in. Both bedrooms have large wardrobes and if you need additional sleeping space, the largest couch in the living room extends into a very comfortable double bed. The main bathroom has a great shower and also contains the washing
machine/dryer. 

Getting from Apartment Merbau to the Pile Gate at Stari Grad is a picturesque 15-minute walk along Dubrovnik's famous narrow stepped stone streets - watch out for all the old chapels and palaces you'll pass along the way. If you're after some beach-time, then the famous Banje beach is just 20 minutes walk away, just beyond the Ploce Gate
to the old town. If you have a car, then use of the flat's allocated parking space at the side of the building is included.

Paul says: "Property was superb, and spacious, brand new with Siemens appliances throughout including remote controlled air con! Large balcony terrace which was as impressive during the day for sunbathing on as it was for dining out on watching the sunset over Dubrovnik bay of an evening. Rental agent was helpful and met us at the apartment at the scheduled time as well as organise taxis for our departure to the airport. Only one drawback around the property is that it is situated about 500 feet above Dubrovnik old town and the walk is steep and up a good a few hundred steps. "
