The new villa was designed for families and friends holidays to satisfy people who love staying together in a private, quiet and homely mood, on the other hand it offers everyone an ease of access to all of the attractions of a tourist town located by the sea (beach, water sports, restaurants, bars, etc). It is furnished combining European standard/comfort, local style and decorated with marvelous Arabic art.
The accommodation on the ground floor contains three bedrooms, two double beds with the option of an additional single sofa-bed and one twin bed. It has two bathrooms and 2 WC�s. Kitchen and a spacious open plan living patio-garden, with a comfortable space for dining and a corner with sofa and armchairs for relaxation, are equipped with everything required for a comfortable self-catering holiday. Stairs from the patio are leading to two roof terraces connected by a wooden bridge. There is a wooden chalet- double bed on one terrace. On the other side of the bridge, a big pergola and a relaxing corner with deckchairs is an ideal spot for a glass of wine under the stars. Whenever you wish the pergola allows you also to sleep under a starry sky, which is amazing in Sinai, especially in falling stars season. The door from the patio leads you to a big Arabic style garden with 11 palms in the middle, Bedouin sittings and barbecue corner. It offers also additional private space for relaxing and dinning. Barbecue party under stars with palms around gives unforgettable memories. The gardens gate leads you directly to the front of The Red Sea, where you can have a swim at any time of the day. ADSL (broadband) and Wireless Internet connection allows you to use internet in all rooms, patio, terraces and the garden.
The Villa is big enough to hold up to 9 people keeping their stay at a high standard.
My guests and friends love having breakfast in the garden or in the patio in the morning and a glass of wine on the roof terraces in the evening. Sunrises and sunsets with spectacular panoramic views of The Red Sea, South Sinai and the Saudi Arabian mountains will give you lifetime memories.

Villa Barbara is situated at the north edge of Dahab- el Assala, on The Red Sea. It is a quiet residential area with many homes owned by foreigners. The villa is surrounded by a charming patio with 3 palms in the middle, from which a big bright entrance takes you straight to the garden. Thanks to this design, you are at the same time in an open space but still invisible to anyone from outside. Just a one minute walk through the garden takes you to the beach where The Red Sea coral-reef starts directly from there. After a ten minute walk along the beach you will get to the promenade with restaurants, shops, sun loungers and diving centers. A one minute walk from the villa will take you to supermarkets where all basic products are available for a reasonable price, but my personal recommendation is the local market square (5-7 minutes away) for a range of fresh and tasty vegetables, fruits, fish and sea food. There you will also find a pharmacy, butchers, household goods, small local traders and even a wine shop. This place is very lively, especially in the evening, when local people, Bedouins and foreigners are shopping, eating and enjoying shisha in local cafes. It is a perfect place to learn the local culture and my favorite place for shopping and meetings while having tasty fish or prawns.
The whole range of Egyptian, Italian, Indian, Chinese, Thai and other cuisines are available in restaurants 7-20 minutes walk from the villa. You can also use taxis, which are very cheap and available 24/7.
The villa is located 50 min drive from Sharm -el - Sheikh Airport and 90 minutes drive from Taba. A taxi from Sharm or Taba airport to the villa can be arranged on request, for a reasonable price of 30-50 Euros.

The villa comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 2 twin, 2 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 single sofa bed located in the in a big bedroom, 1 double sofa bed located in the in a big bedroom. This gives room for up to 10 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.

Sea with reef just in front of the house is super for snorkelling and swimming at any time. Great place for relaxing, comfortable holiday. Our host-Barbara provided us European standard service and was very helpful with all arrangements, including trips and food delivery, even from restaurants that do not provide that service on regular basis. Her efficiency in resolving a power cut (out of her control) was very comforting. Even then we had a moon lit night with stars which added to the romance of the place. My only comment is that it would be extremely helpful if she can add a microwave in the kitchen. Welcome drinks and fruits were good start. We hope to come back there again and would recommend anyone to stay there"
