This brand new well equipped chalet is now available to hire. Located on the edge of Stadl an der Mur, a picturesque Austrian village, the chalet is nestled within a small development with excellent views of the mountains. A picture of the chalet is below.

The lovely village of Stadl an der Mur lies on the borders of the provinces of Salzburg, Styria and Carinthia - the Italian and Slovenian borders are just 3-4 hours away. The region is primarily known for its many lakes as well as the majestic Hohe Tauern mountain range. With skiing between 800 and 2200 m it boasts some of Austria’s most snow sure skiing yet also benefits from over 200 days of sunshine a year, making it a truly dual season resort. There are many ski areas nearby and some of these are featured on the 'Winter' page of this website.

The village has a wide range of amenities and a narrow gauge train and bus service provide transportation to the local ski area, should you not wish to drive. From Summer 2008, a swimming pool will be available on the chalet development for all guests to use.

In the summer the area has much to offer from mountain biking and hiking to white water rafting, or a fantastic place to chill out, enjoy the sunshine and take in the wonderful views.

Travel off-peak to the Chalet and you can pick up some fantastic deals with the low cost carriers for as little as ₤20.00 return including taxes! The closest airport is Klagenfurt, with Salzburg and Graz just a little further away.

The ski chalet comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 3 double, 1 twin. The property also has 1 single sofa bed located in the In the longe. This gives room for up to 10 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The ski chalet has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm. The ski chalet has a sauna.

The ski chalet has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 10 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The ski chalet is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a garden, a patio area, a balcony, interesting views. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The ski chalet is right beside walking, cycling.

Close to the ski chalet you will find swimming, mountain biking, horse riding, skiing/snowboarding, golf, tennis, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the ski chalet you will find fishing, a sports center.
