The 200 square meter large mansion lies on a 3,500 square meter large property on a south slope, which is built in terraces. It is located at a small hill in Raposeira, near Vila do Bispo (1 Km), with a great view to the cape. Shopping facilities within walking distance. The house is built in half terraces to the slope and has a 400 m² large terrace with pool (9x11m), grill and pool house. To the beaches of the south coast there is 3 km and to the west coast is it 5 to 6 km distance. Lagos is 20 Km distant, Faro 110 Km.

The holiday house is suitable for allergy sufferers and is equipped with everything you need for a pleasant vacation.

The villa consists of 4 bedrooms (2 doubles, 2 twin), 3 complete bathrooms and a shower room by the pool. The living/dining room (equipped with satellite TV) spreads over two floors. The kitchen is equipped complete with all utensils from espresso-maker to dishwasher and washing machine.
The large terrace, with direct access to the dining area and to the kitchen, contains the BBQ and the pool house, as well as stairs leading to the swimming pool.
For the cooler winter months, the villa is equipped with central heating.

From the house one has a beautiful view over the town and toward Cabo São Vincente. The house is embedded in a garden which is planted with different palms, fruit trees and grapes. Parking place for 4 cars.

One of the places in the south-western Algarve where Prince Henry the Navigator lived. Tradition says he stayed in a house which has now lost its original character and of which all that has been identified is the lintel of a 16th century door. There are several houses with 15th and 16th century doors.
Main Church - Of the original church, founded in the 16th century all that remains are the Manueline doorways at the front and side,. the bell tower which culminates in an octagonal pyramid, the arch of the main altar and at the back, a curious corbel with a human face.
Hermitage of Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe (Our Lady of Guadeloupe) - According to local tradition this was a place of prayer for Prince Henry the Navigator.



The small village offers no touristic services at the only villages traffic lights, roads depart to some of the most beautiful and wild beaches of Algarve. In Raposeira one can have some refreshing drinks from Café Rodrigues or from Ali-Supermarket, and then it is all the way through the fields to the indicated beaches of Zavial and Ingrina.



Praia de Zavial

The best place to relax is the beach restaurant. Ocean waves are normally never too big. The best location for sunbathing is the medium sized sand and rock bay all the way to the left, where sunbeds are better protected from the wind.



Praia do Ingrina

Praia do Ingrina is only a few hundred meters from Zavial. The sandy beach is somewhat larger and flatter than Zavial, amd more appealing to surfers there is a snack-bar at the beach.

Following the paths to the left, through the cliffs, one reaches Praia José Vaz (only by foot, no traffic access).

The narrow streets which surround the church contain many houses typical of the old algarve, with whitewashed walls, bands of bright colour, carved stonework around doors and windows and coolshade even in the dog days.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 10 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.
