Welcome to our stunning, self catering apartment house set in the Wildschönau Valley (Wildschönau, means "Wild and Beautiful" - an accurate description we believe!)

If you are looking to get away from the hectic pace of modern life, perhaps we have the answer here in Niederau. Niederau is a small, typically Tyrolean village where families are made very welcome. Our home has 9 apartments available for rent, each with its own South facing balcony offering perfect views of the entire mountain panorama.

There are two things you should know about our family home: We operate a 100% No Smoking Policy and we have a 3yr old chocolate Labrador called "Fred" who will be around the house during your stay.

Our largest apartments sleep 4 adults in 2 permanent king sized beds. The smaller rooms have one king sized bed, but that's not the end of the story.

Many of our rooms can be "suited" to give permanent beds for 6, in three king sized beds. This allows a great opportunity for families or larger groups to share a holiday!

All rooms are sufficiently large to accommodate extra beds so if you need to sleep more, just let us know!
 

One of the great things about Niederau, of course, is the skiing! Our slopes are all close at hand with the gondola station right in the heart of the village. A new 4-man chair-lift is being installed at the moment and will be ready for the coming winter season.

The Wildschönau lift pass can also cover many of the other resorts in the Kitzbühel Alps.

The Auhof is located on the South facing side of the valley which ensures it is perfectly located to take maximum advantage of every sunny moment!
 

If the Winter season is perfect for skiing then the Summer is perfect for all manner of outdoor activities.

Whether you want to be exhilarated by paragliding, white-water rafting, canyoning or exploring the treetops at the high ropes garden you will not be short of things to do.

For the slightly less adventurous there is plenty of opportunity to walk, ride, cycle and swim in the valley.

Whilst for the sun lovers there are dozens of cafes, restaurants and mountain bars to sit outside and just watch the world go by.

The apartment comprises 1 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 2 single sofa beds located in the Upstairs on a mezzanine level (Kids only). This gives room for up to 4 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm. The apartment has a sauna.

The apartment has television satellite/cable. Recreational activities available with the apartment include a home gym, table tennis.

There is room for 4 in the living room and 4 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The apartment is in a very quiet area. It has a south facing garden, a south facing balcony, panoramic views, interesting views. If you are driving there is private parking.

The apartment is right beside walking, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, skiing/snowboarding.

Close to the apartment you will find swimming, tennis, a museum, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the apartment you will find climbing.

carol says: "The owners of the Auhof, Des and Caroline, go out of their way to help. We had a hire car but our chains did not fit. It was bucketing down with snow and Des drove us into Niederau to get a set that did fit. They also run a shuttle sevice to the vilage ski tows if you do not have a car and will pick up from airports. They are warm, friendly and know the area really well. They are both ski instructors as is their son, Martin. We loved their bar, living room area with the open fire of an evening. Would definatedly stay there again!! Rooms large with great view of Niederau from the balcony and adored the fresh eggs supplied by thier hens daily"
