The location of the apartment is fantastic. The Piste is only 100 metres away, so there is no need to worry about driving, parking and walking with heavy equipment such as skis, snowboards, poles etc. You can literally put your skis on at the front door, ski all day and take them off again at the front door when you have finished. Once you are on the ski slope there is a short descent of 250 meters to the Valley Station of the “Achter Jet” ski lift which will take you high up the mountain. 

The fully furnished 110 square metre chalet apartment (incl. cellar) consists of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a combined kitchen, dining and living room all of which have individually controlled under-floor heating. In addition there is a ski cellar. It is located on the top floor of the house, which means that the front door is on the same level as the covered car parking area. This means that luggage and shopping handling is very easy. 

The main room of the apartment is a large 40 square metre combined living room, dining-room and kitchen. The room has a beautiful pinewood vaulted ceiling, parquet floor and large French windows leading onto a wooden balcony. The views from this room are breathtaking with the Dachstein mountain range in the distance and the Flachau valley and town just below.

The living room has a corner sofa in which guests can relax and watch television on the wall mounted flat screen TV. A DVD player and DVD library are also provided, including a full range of kiddy friendly films. The local Cable television channels show panorama camera coverage of the local ski resorts as well as weather forecasts. This is great information when deciding where to ski.

The kitchen has been designed by an ex-chef and has everything and more (kettle, coffee-maker, knives, pots, pans, ladles etc.). The fridge, cooking hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and extraction fan are all brand new and of good quality (Bosch). All of the work surfaces are granite, there is a huge amount of storage space and the double sink really helps with food preparation.

For dining, there is a two seater breakfast bar and a dining table that seats 8. Also provided is a children’s high chair for younger guests.


Bedrooms

All of the bedrooms have wooden floors, individually controlled under-floor heating and very good quality mattresses. All bedding materials and pillows etc. are feather free in order to cater to guests who suffer from allergies.

The Master Bedroom has a large built in wardrobe for storage, a king-size bed and the 3 metre French windows and balcony provide a great view over the valley and surrounding mountains.

The Second Bedroom is equipped with two single beds, a large built in wardrobe and cupboard.

The Third Bedroom sleeps four in two bunk beds. This room also has a built in wardrobe and chest of drawers. As per Austrian tourist regulations, the upper bunk beds are not to be used by children under six years of age.

Bathrooms

The apartment has two bathrooms: one with a combined bath and shower, basin and W.C., the other with a walk in shower, basin and W.C. Both bathrooms have large heated towel racks.

Storage Room

As you enter the hallway there is a small storage room, complete with cleaning materials, vacuum cleaner etc…

Cellar

The apartment comes with a large ski cellar. This is equipped with ski racks, ski boot dryer, iron and ironing board, washing machine and dryer.

The ski chalet comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 2 twin and 1 cots. The property also has 1 double sofa bed 2 double bunk beds located in the bedroom. This gives room for up to 10 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The ski chalet has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The ski chalet has television and home cinema with video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 10 in the living room and 10 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The ski chalet is in a very quiet area. It has a east facing balcony, panoramic views. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The ski chalet is right beside walking, cycling, mountain biking, skiing/snowboarding, a sports center, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Close to the ski chalet you will find swimming, fishing, climbing, horse riding, golf, historic sites.

Within easy reach of the ski chalet you will find a zoo.

Helle Cathrine says: "The apartement were very good, and we enjoyed our stay very much. We understand that this is a brand new property, and therefore we have some suggestions for improvement: * Small towels for washing hands * Towelhooks for the bathrooms * Hooks for hanging up wet clothes etc. in the beedrooms and hallway * Shelfspace for toilet requisites * Wireless broadband connection * The ski cellar was quite moist and our skiboots did not dry properly. I think this was because the room was cold, and after the ski boot dryer was turned off in the morning, they became cold and damp. Some heating should probably be on all the time. On Friday 6th February a man tried to lock himself into the apartement to check the floor heating. Since we had not been informed about this, we did not let him in but told him to come back on Saturday after we had left. It would also be great if the towels were changed once during the week. These are all mere suggestions, so I just wanted to emphasize that we really enjoyed our stay :) "

We are very glad that these guests enjoyed their stay and we agree fully with this feedback. Once the season is over and the workmen can again have access to the apartment, towelhooks will be installed in all bedrooms and bathroom shelves will be installed in both bathrooms. Wireless internet will be also be set up. Small hand towels are also a good idea and when we are next there, we will purchase them for the apartment. In terms of towels being changed, the apartment has a washing machine and a dryer in the ski cellar which are provided for the use of our guests.
