Aquarius villas, are set in beautifully landscaped grounds on a gentle slope, between Turkey’s Mediterranean coast and the stunning Taurus mountains, 700m from the beach, 7km from the historic town of Side and 30 km from Turkey`s golf region of Belek, and with easy access from Antalya airport, which is served by flights from most major UK airports.

Number 53 is a luxury, fully furnished 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom villa, with a large private garden and private parking. Due to strict planning regulations, building has been limited to a 10% giving an open feel to the complex with only 54 semi-detached villas. It is a secure complex featuring communal pool, fully equipped gymnasium, sauna, tennis court and children’s play area. The emphasis at Aquarius is on peace and tranquility with each of the villas set far enough apart to ensure privacy and comfort, yet close enough to be neighbourly.

The villa is on 3 floors. The ground floor offers a fitted well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and washing machine, an open planned air-conditioned living/dinning room with adjoining patio offering a table and seating for 6 and French doors leading to the garden. There is also a guest/3rd bedroom bathroom on the ground floor.

The first floor has 2 bedrooms both with twin beds, fitted wardrobes and air-conditioning. The 2nd bedroom (twin beds can be put together to make a King) also has a en-suite bathroom with shower and access to a small balcony (ideal for drying your laundry) from the bathroom and a larger terrace directly from the bedroom with a table and chairs.

The top floor is the Master suite with a large bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and hand-held shower, king bed, fitted wardrobe, air-conditioning and a private sun terrace with loungers.

Aquarius Villas are situated 700m from the sandy beaches of Çolakli, a resort that is a pleasant holiday destination and an up-market residential district hosting several new 5-star hotel complexes, bars, restaurants, shops and a health spa.




 

DVD/CD’s : This is a selection of DVDs for your use during your stay. The CD player also has an iPod docking station.

Books: Please feel free to read any of the books found in the villa and to take home a book if it is not completed. We would also like to welcome you to leave any books you have brought with you and no longer require. You will also find a Turkish guide book, phrase book and a number of maps with the other books.

Electricity: Supply is via 220 Volts, 2 pin European plugs. A couple of extension leads with 4 UK plug sockets (as well as a number of other adapters) are available.

Travel Cot: Available at no extra cost (bedding also supplied)

Steriliser: Available at no extra cost

High chair: Available at no extra cost

Hairdryer: Located in the Master Bedroom.

Towels: Bath and hand towels are provided for your use in the villa. Large beach towels are also provided for the bathrooms and for the pool/beach.

Smoking: Please note this is a non-smoking villa. However, ashtrays are provided for guests who wish to smoke outside on the patio or in the garden.

General amenities of the complex:

Bar/cafe: The delightful Aquarius club is staffed full time and offers drinks, hot snacks and ice creams. Events are hosted several evenings each week to which all guests are invited.

Floodlit Tennis Court: Four adult and two childrens tennis rackets and balls are provided in the villa for your use.

Children’s Play Area: Situated next to the tennis court.

Swimming: The large circular swimming pool has all of the same depth (approx 1.8m). There is also a small children’s paddling pool. A large range of sun loungers belonging to the site are available. Both pools are emptied from the end of October to 1st April annually.

Gym: Air conditioned and equipped with a full range of modern gym equipment. Table tennis table is also located here with bats and balls available in the villa.

Sauna: Located next to the gym and pool.

Security: The complex has 24 hour security .

Housekeeping: Cleaning and laundry service available. Price on request.

Airport Transfers: 1 to 4 persons £35 or €45 each way 5 to 8 persons £45 or €60 each way
 

Beaches: The nearest beach is about 700m away. There is also a free shuttle bus operated by a local beach restaurant/bar. They will come and get you and let you use their sunbeds for free (in the hope that they will sell you lunch!).

Car Hire: We can organise a hire car for you to be delivered to the airport or to the villa if you get a transfer (recommended). Price on request.

Dolmus: The Dolmus taxis are the cheapest ways to travel. These zippy mini-buses run along specified routes (the final destination is printed on a board in the front window). In towns, there tend to be designated stops however, they can usually be flagged down anywhere along the route. Approx. cost 3YTL (just over £1!) per person, per journey.

Taxis: In most cases these are metered however, it is still best to negotiate a rate or be given a guide price before starting your journey. Example cost : Side town to Manavgat town approx. £13-£15.

Spa Treatments: A full range of spa treatments can be found at the Keyf Wellness Centre just a 3 minute drive away. Here you will be able to book a Turkish bath, facial treatments or full body massages. There is also an indoor and outdoor pool (only filled from approx. 20 April to 20 November), jacuzzi, sauna, steam and snow room, drinks and snack bar.

Excursions: There are numerous shops offering excursions. They all offer very similar products at very similar prices so just take your pick. We have left details of those we have found most helpful and reliable in the villa.

Water sports: Turkish coastal resorts have an excellent range of water sports including banana riding, paragliding, parascending, surfboarding, waterskiing, windsurfing and jet skiing. Non-motorized water-sports such as kayaks, pedalos and snorkeling equipment are also available. Waterparks are springing up all over the place. There is a park about 5 minutes walk from the villa connected to one of the local hotels that can be used by non-residents at a charge of approximately 5€ per person for 2-3 hours. Antalya has a very large waterpark called Aqualand with approx. 30 water-slides, swimming pools with wave machines, cafes, bars, lockers and sun-loungers etc. This can be visited as a day excursion from one of the aforementioned excursion operators if you do not have a hire car.

Sport on TV: There are many bars that show football and rugby games. Some will also provide a complimentary pick-up/dro p-off service (particularly in the winter months) so you can leave the car at home and celebrate! Again, we have left details of a few good bars in the villa.
 

There are sea and mountain views from the sun terrace off the master bedroom.

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 2 twin and 1 cots, 2 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 3 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. The villa has a sauna.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio. Recreational activities available with the villa include a home gym, table tennis.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a garden, a patio area, a balcony, sea views, panoramic views, interesting views, a tennis court. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside swimming, tennis, a food shop.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, cycling, horse riding, historic sites, shopping areas, a restaurant.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find fishing, walking, golf, scuba diving.

KAREN says: "THE HOUSE WAS SPACIOUS, CLEAN AND WELL EQUIPED. THE DECOR WAS TASTEFUL AND THE SURROUNDING GARDENS WERE BEAUTIFULLY PLANTED. THE POOL WAS WONDERFUL, ALTHOUGH IN HIGH SEASON I WONDER IF IT WOULD NOT BE BIG ENOUGH FOR EVERYONE. IT MIGHT BE WORTH THINKING ABOUT BUILDING ANOTHER ONE SOON. JONAIRRE (SP?) WHO WORKED AT THE CLUB HOUSE WAS A WONDERFUL PERSON WHOM OUR WHOLE FAMILY GOT ON WELL WITH. HE MADE THE HOLIDAY EXTRA SPECIAL. WE COMMEND HIM TO THE COMPANY."
