Zweisimmen is a lovely little village, small enough to get to know it quickly, but big enough for a change of shops and restaurants.
Our chalet is a Luxury self catered chalet with four double/twin bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms. Large open plan luxury kitchen with open plan living area featuring a cosy area with tv and sink in sofas. and a day lounge with magnificent views and balconies.

Zweisimmen village in the Bernese Oberland forms the gateway to the world-famous Gstaad-Saanenland region. Zweisimmen is also the starting point of the Montreux – Bernese Oberland – rail line, which travels to Montreux on Lake Geneva.

Zweisimmen offers over 300 km of walking trails: The classic trails include a ramble to the idyllic Seebergsee and onward, towards the Stierenberg.There are four high-altitude trails with amazing views, as well as a walking trail leading to Lenk at the head of the Upper Simmental. There are also scooter-based options, riders can choose between two routes on which to coast down from the mountain into the valley on scooters with specially-equipped brakes.There are also many bicycle and mountain bike routes, including the downhill route on the Rinderberg. 

Zweisimmen is served by several airports which are within easy driving distance, or train connection.

The ski chalet comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 2 twin, 4 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 8 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The ski chalet has 5 bathrooms and 5 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm. The ski chalet has a sauna.

The ski chalet has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play radio.

There is room for 12 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The ski chalet is in a very quiet area. It has a east facing patio area, a south facing balcony, panoramic views. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

Close to the ski chalet you will find swimming, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, golf, tennis, a sports center, historic sites, a museum, a theatre/cinema.

Graham says: "An excellent property with superb views across the valley. For summer lets the property would benefit from some outdoor furniture such as table and chairs and sun loungers. The chalet is extremely well designed both inside and out and the sauna facilities are first class. For summer use a car is essential as there are limited facilities in the immediate locality. There is some local building work being done at the moment and a number of house building plots are being prepared, beware the builders start at 7am each morning. As an overview, I would recommend this property. "
