Villa Meltemi (sleeps 4/6) is set in the traditional farming area of Lahania Village, made famous by the film of Season of forty" (with Jacqueline Bisset and Irene Papa), Each double bed has overhead mosquito nets. The property is ideal for couples and smaller parties with the added benefit of the double sofa bed to sleep a maximum of 6. There is a selection of DVDs, videos and books.

There are some outside seating and dining areas in which to take in the magnificent sunsets. The villa stands in a large 500 sqm plot, surrounded by high walls. There is a covered garage to keep your car cool during the hot days, and that leads directly into the garden.

The house has 2 small stylish bathrooms with shower next to the bedrooms for your convenience and, although the villa is small, everything you need is available. a large balcony with comfortable pillows give a wide view on the village, the mountains, the valleys and the sea. 

After exploring Lachania and having a meal or coffee at one of the traditional village tavernas, you may wish to venture further. A stroll through the surrounding hilly countryside, a drive to one of the neighbouring villages, sipping some wine on a secluded beach watching the sunset - it is all there for you. There are lots of little churches to be discovered, historic sites to be visited and the island is perfect for a day round trip combined with stops at the ancient city of Kamiros, Ialysos or Lindos. 

Lachanias narrow streets are empty of traffic and with its traditional white painted houses the whole village has a relaxed feel ideal for those who want to experience a traditional Greek holiday.

The villa comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 2 double and 2 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the this is in the living room. This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming calls only.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this villa.

The villa is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a private swimming pool, a garden, a summer house, a patio area, a balcony, sea views, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. Silvano says: " The house is charming and really well designed for a fully relaxing staying since allows you to choose if to lie nearby the pool, have dinner outside on comfortable chairs just in front of the kitchen or enjoying the falling stars from the terrace. The area is absolutely noise free so y0u will need the alarm clock if you want to wake up early and go to explore the island. A car or a scooter is needed to reach the two most recommended beaches of the south of Rhodes island: Mohito and Prassonissi. A special remark to the owners Yourgus and Gudrun for their availability and their efforts to make you feel good and to make your holiday as better as possible. The swimming  pool is always kept clean by a professional maintains it twice a week. Highly recommended for "good taste" people."
