This luxury apartment has two balconies overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the Desertas islands. On the sunset balcony there is a set of 4 wooden chairs and a wooden table to relax while you read a book. On the other balcony there are two sun beds to sunbath. The views are excellent overlooking the sea and you have still the chance to see the farmers working on the terraces to the inland. It is the sort of location that makes you feel in peace of mind and admire the landscape without being isolated from what is happening in the capital of Funchal.

Located on the top floor of a 5 floors apartment building and served by a lift, the apartment comprises 90 m2 living area spread over two floors. Both golf courses in Madeira Island are situated on the East side of the island. Driving from the apartment is approximately 20 to 30 minutes which makes it handy for golfers. From Madeiras international airport to the apartment it is approximately 15 km or about 10 to 15 minutes car drive. We can arrange a transfer service for two people with a qualified driver for the total cost of €20 one way. Rent a car is not essential because there is a very efficient and frequent bus timetable to Funchal city centre. If you wish to be more independent, then a rental car is recommended. Holidays in Caniço are perfect if youre looking for some well deserved rnr. This pretty village sits at the top of a steep winding road, with stunning views out to the Atlantic. It retains an air of tradition, displayed in the main square with its cobbled streets and 18th century church. There are a few quaint shops, as well as bars and restaurants, bustling with locals.

The area around Canico is well-known for being a walkers paradise. The vast network of levandas lead into rolling green hills and valleys of the countryside. Here youll find some of the beautiful floral displays that Madeira is famous for. Its the perfect setting for relaxing holidays, still only 12 km from Funchal city centre.

Golf enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice when it comes to fairways. Dig out your nine iron and head to one of the championship courses close by. Youve got the 18-hole Palheiro and the 27-hole Santo de Serra, which is home to the Madeira Open.

From Caniço, a road snakes downhill to Caniço da Baixo, only two kilometres away. This place is known for its great water sports facilities, like windsurfing and waterskiing. Its also known as one of the islands premier scuba diving spots, with a wealth of caves and grottos. Watersports aside, its also home to one of the best hotels, Riu Palace Madeira. This little beauty has bagged a spot right on the seafront, offering wonderful views.
