This is a lovely, newly-built, 2nd floor apartment, in a gated front-line complex, facing East across Tamuda Bay on the Moroccan Mediterranean coast. The Marina Smir area is rapidly developing into a great holiday destination. The Marina itself offers great restaurants and tea salons, and is the perfect place to sit and admire the yachts.

Although you can come without one, if you have a car you can easily visit the local towns of MDiq and Tetouan (with its Medina) or Tangiers itself is slightly further afield, and well worth a visit.

The car also means you can easily stock up at the Marjanne hypermarket just this side of Tetouan, which has a wider selection of goods available than the local shops 

The main lounge area is tastefully decorated, with leather sofas around a Satellite TV, as well as the dining table. The lounge opens out to the spacious balcony, again with table and chairs, so that you can enjoy your breakfast overlooking the Med.
Two of the bedrooms boast sea views to the east, with one of them being en-suite (with a fab, 21st century "Buck Rogers" shower !). The third bedroom has also has a window, this time looking south. The well-equipped kitchen opens off the main corridor, and has all the equipment you would expect from this type of accommodation.

The gardens and communal areas of Marina Beach are just fantastic. They are beautifully tended by the dedicated team and are looking better and better each time we visit. The pools are semicircular and also have a shallower section for the young (or lazy). There are plenty of loungers around the pools, perfect for wading through your holiday reading !

The Mediterranean is just a couple of hundred yards stroll through the immaculate gardens (no roads to cross), where you find the private beachfront. 

The cuisine of Morocco is superb. Influences from around the Med, combined with arabic notes lead so some wonderful Tagines, Cous Cous and fantastic local fish dishes.

Many restaurants do not have liquor licences (although we have spent many a happy night in Rio Grande, on the Marina - which does have a liquor licence (and how)). We found that if drinking is your thing, you are often better to stock up at the Marjanne, and then enjoy your personal poison on your balcony, looking out over the Mediterranean sunset (or sunrise, if that floats your boat) 

The apartment comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 2 twin, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the apartment cool.

The apartment has television dvd, satellite/cable.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The apartment is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a east facing garden, a east facing patio area, a east facing balcony, sea views. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The apartment is right beside a beach, swimming, walking, a restaurant, a food shop.

Close to the apartment you will find sailing, water skiing, boat hire, fishing, golf, tennis, shopping areas.

Within easy reach of the apartment you will find historic sites.
