Our Villa includes a south facing pool and spa, on an extended screened patio area, overlooking the canal on 2 sides at the rear and a canal view to the front. It is fully air conditioned, spacious, private and comes with many extras for your convenience.

With several years of experience staying in other villas in Rotonda, we are confident that we have put together an outstanding accommodation, that has everthing you could possibly need to make your stay perfect. We really love our home and are happy to share it with you.
 

Rotonda West is located on the beautiful Cape Haze Peninsular, close to the fabulous Beeches of Gasparilla Island, Englewood and Stump Pass. Boca Grande Island lets you step back in time. Close by are Local Nature Reserves, Sea and River Fishing, Boating, Water Sports, Great Restaurants and not forgetting 6 Golf Courses whithin minutes.
There are plenty of local restaurants catering for all tastes and pockets, two tennis courts, a cycle track, nature reserve, shops and supermarkets all within easy reach.

Wildlife abounds everywhere: Osprey, Pelicans, Ibis, Egrets,Turkey Vultures are all common sites. On our last visit we saw a Bald Eagle at 10 feet! Alligators, Racoons, Armadillos,Turtles can also be seen. Dolphins can often be spotted swimming in the ocean off the beaches.
Our Villa is in the perfect location for exploring the surrounding area. Tampa, Fort Myers, Sanibel, Captiva, Sarasota, Naples and Orlando are all within reachable distance and all have something to offer (see detail on Other Attractions.)

Long Marsh Golf Club, 800 yards from the Villa, Set in 300 acres of natural Florida scrub, pines, oaks and palms, lakes and marshes that are a haven for wildlife.
Ted McAnlis designed in Feb. 1999. Four sets of tees provide distances from 7120 yards to 5257 yards. a real test from the back. 

The Hills, Rotonda Golf & Country Club. Tha original course built in 1973, of the 54 holes available from the Rotonda Golf & Country Club. Clever water hazards and elevated greens. The course is heavily dotted with well placed water hazards a true test of accuracy and course management.
 Four sets of tees that challenge all skill levels. Par 72, 18 holes, 6304 yards to 5072 yards.

The Palms, Rotonda Golf & Country Club, Rotondas second 18 hole championship course. Golfers are impressed by its five finishing holes, which include six different water hazards, multi-tiered greens and two of Floridas most demanding holes the 15th & 16th back to back.
Par 72, 6511 yards to 4669 yards with four sets of tees that challenge all skill levels.

The Links, Rotonda Golf & Country Club, 18 hole executive length golf course. Water comprises 35 of the 80 acres of land with an assortment of grassy hollows, pot bunkers, multi-fingered sand traps and triple tiered greens, club selection a priority.
Par 63, 18 hole, 4197 yards to 3190 yards.

Lemon Bay Golf Club, Open to the public from May 1 to September 30. Located within a wildlife preserve, along the beautiful waters of Lemon Bay, the naturalFlorida terrain provides an ideal habitat for native birds and animals.
Par 71, 18 hole course offers a fair yet challenging game for both novice and expert golfer.

Myakka Pines Golf Club, 27 holes that are divided into three distinctly different courses, Each 9 hole course has its own characteristics. The courses are about 3100 yards for men, 2800 for women and 3350 from the back tees.
The course is dotted with lakes and surrounded by Floridas natural fauna, with no deveopements of any kind to spoil the views. 

The list could go on, but we do not have the space to list all the golf courses, there are over 70 courses between Tampa and our villa.  

Englewood Beach: Boardwalk, Rest Rooms, Showers, Picnic Tables, BBQs, Kids Playground, Volleyball, Horse Shoe Toss, Excellent Beach for Swimming, Walking and Shell Collecting, Restaurants 50 yards from Beach. Small cost for car parking.

Englewood Middle Beach, (Blind Pass): Beautiful scenic coastline ideal for swimming, fishing and shell collecting. Rest rooms and showers. Free parking.

Stump Pass: Over one mile of beach, excellent for swimming, walking and collecting shells.

Manasota Beach: This 14 acre stretch of beach and sand dunes has BBQs, picnic tables (sheltered), Rest rooms and showers, board walk. The beach is approx 3 miles north of Middle beach in Englewood.

Boca Grande & Gasparillo Island: A scenic drive to three beautiful beaches in a gorgeous location. BBQs, picnic tables, rest rooms and showers. Small fee for parking (around $2 for day). The Loose Caboose is worth a visit for lunch in the small town.
 

The house is situated on a corner, canal plot. The beautiful views of the double water aspect can be enjoyed from the Spa and patio area. A Spa is located within the pool area. A Fully Screened Patio area

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin and 1 cots, 3 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the Family Lounge Room. This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 3 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.

The villa has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls. Recreational activities available with the villa include a snooker/pool table.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing patio area, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside fishing, cycling, golf, tennis.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, swimming, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, walking, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find flying, horse riding, a museum.

David says: "It is dificult to add anything original that has not been written already about this superb villa. Everything about it is absolutely excellent - space, location, furnishings and fittings and every extra you can think of plus a few more. We had a fantastic three weeeks here and felt completely at home which is not the usual case in a rental property. We have stayed in many properties around Europe and the USA and this is the best by far. Rotonda, and the surrounding area takes some getting used to at first but is quickly overcome and the choice of golf, beaches and dining out places is hard to beat. Overall with the golf cards this is an unbeatable package - just go and enjoy!! We will return!!"
