We really hope that each person that visits Tolo enjoys their stay and loves Tolo and its surrounding areas as much as we do. We found Tolo in 1988 and have enjoyed going back there ever since. It seems each time we visit Tolo there is always something to see, certainly no chance of getting bored, whether you are young or old there is so much to see or do.

We aim to make everyone’s stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. Below are some details about Tolo and its surrounding areas. We have also put together a small folder which will be left in the apartment, which we hope people will find really useful.

Change over days will be Friday/Saturday. However we could be more flexible with the change over day and the amount of days you would like to stay, please enquire.

Tolo is located in the Pelopennesse on main land Greece, approx 1 1/2 – 2 hours from Athens . Tolo is a pretty fishing village nestled in between the surrounding mountains with far reaching views both inland and across the bay and numerous islands. The nearest town is Nafplion, which is Greece ’s first capital and is beseeched with wonderful Venetian architecture and a lively nightlife. Tolo has all amenities needed to make your stay both comfortable and very enjoyable. It is suited to all ages, (however our apartment is located half way up a short steep hill). Tolo has been a popular holiday destination for many years, with people returning again and again.

 

The comfortable, first floor apartment, is only 300 meters away from the sandy beaches of Tolo, which lies on the north eastern corner of the breath taking Peloponnese. The sheltered bay is ideal for safe swimming, relaxation and water activities and has a tempting array of café’s and small restaurants lining the beach. Tolo has both lively bars and tavernas all of which offer a wide selection of Greek cuisine and beverages. For the romantic type, there are also quiet restaurants, some of which over look the clear blue sea that is dotted with brightly coloured boats and the rolling hills of the mainland in the horizon. Tolo is a very popular holiday resort for all ages and welcomes people back year after year.

Only seven kilometers away is the famous town of Nafplio. Greece’s first capital, the port is steeped with culture, fantastic Venetian architecture and topped with the Palamidis Fort (1000 steps up!). It has numerous restaurants amongst its pretty alleyways and stunning square and it really comes alive at night with lively bars along the sea front and nightclubs nearby.

Nafplio has been adjudged one of the handsomest towns in Greece, truly magnificent.If you are looking for excursions to classical sites Tolo is a brilliant choice with Epidavros, Tiryns, Argos, Mystras and Mycenae all within easy reach. Further afield lie Olympia, birthplace of the Olympics, and Athens itself, home of the breathtaking Acropolis.



 

 

There is accomodation for 4 people, with the twin bedroom and a comfortable double sofa bed in the living room. The balcony offers sea views accross some rooftops. Thee is a newly fitted awning to provide shelter or shade. Linen is provided, but towels are not supplied.

The apartment comprises 1 bedrooms in total; 1 twin. . This gives room for up to 4 people.

The apartment has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the apartment cool.

The apartment has television dvd. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 5 in the living room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The apartment is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a east facing balcony, sea views, interesting views.

Close to the apartment you will find historic sites, a museum, a theatre/cinema.
