| "The property was excellent; the hosts fantastic and the view wonderful. The owners made us very welcome and left us with bikes to use and golf clubs and boogie boards. They had compiled a great file of 'things to do and visit' as well as some board games and music if you chose to stay in. The location is great with a local cafe/pastry shop and several good restaurants in walking distance."

| "We arrived early but Luis turned up before we could get our mobiles onto a Portuguese network and ring him. We were given a very warm welcome by both Luis and Susana and were given their phone numbers in case of problems. They couldn’t have been more helpful and a special thanks to Susana who organised taxis for us. The apartment is wonderful, everything and I mean everything is provided . The furniture and fittings are of high quality and I would say that this is easily the best apartment we have stayed in. The location is excellent, it overlooks the beach and is within about two minutes walk of eight restaurants. Roughly 30 yards from the apartment there are frequent buses which take you to the bus station in the centre of Porto. A short walk from there gets you to Sao Bento railway station and an excellent cheap train service to the many places of interest. Outside the apartment there is a 15Km boardwalk and a cycle track that runs along the coast. Luis kindly supplies bicycles for those energetic enough to use them. We had a wonderful holiday and would love to return one day. Highly recommended."

Sea beach, Oporto and other peoples precious so close, that more can be ordered.
Luis is a charm and makes you feel as if you were in your house, better than good at home, has everything you need for a wonderful stay.

| "We read the excellent reviews of this property and can only agree whole heartedly with them. Luis and Louisa are excellent hosts and make every effort to ensure that your stay in their apartment is as comfortable as possible. The apartment exceeded our expectations and was sp well equiped we felt that we were in a four star plus property. The use of bikes and golf clubs certainly got the 'thumbs up' from the boys. The apartment overlooks the ocean and infront of that is a wooden broadwalk that continues for 15k along the coast with a cycle/joggin track running alongside that. We have never seen so many 'fit' people in all our lives!!! We did take a few walks down to the next resort but sipping a glass of vinho verde on the balcony 'people watching' is highly recommended."

| "Really excellent apartment, where the owners have tried to provide everything for their visitors.
The owners (the Chaves Family) ensure you are aware of all the apartment features - in our case, waiting late into the night for our arrival. Also overall communication is excellent.
The area provides you with the perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy a good break, as well as exploring this interesting region of Portugal.
Certainly try this apartment - you will not be disappointed!"

| "We had a wonderfull time in the appartment in Salgueiros, summer 2006. The appartment was so nice that we felt at home imedeatly. Although we were away from home for 2200Km.
It was fully equiped and the people we met were all verry nice.
The hospitallity was even better we could imagine, thanks again, we fellt at home.
Thats why we will return in the summer of 2007.

| "This property was amazing. Right across from a lovely beach. The owners met us and could not have been more helpful. They answered all our question and had even left us a few things to make our stay extra special. You really get the feeling that a lot of thought and care want into ensuring the guests feel at home - right down to the best home made jam ever! Everything in the flat was clean and modern and you have everything there you will ever need.

| "It was very clean and tidy and very spacious. The only down fall was the very hard bed which made it very uncomfortable to sleep. It is ok for 3 nights stay but any longer that 3 nights does make it rather unbearable.

| "A beautiful location with excellent sea veiws, the apartment has everything you could want but there are plenty of reseraunts,cafes and bars if you want them. Good motorway access for sightseeing. A walkers paradise with 15 kilometres of board walk along the beach edge from the apartment to Espinho and an easy 30 minute walk along the coast and river into Vila Nova de Gaia. Lots of local buses stop 100 metres away. Useful Cafe, selling fresh bread next door.
