| "We had previusly booked and stayed at villa Daisy Calpe (Kirsten from fareham). we tried to rebook for this year 2009. We had Lisas e-mail address so contacted her to see if we could book. She confirmed the dates were available. She then said about the deposit to secure the villa. No problem paid this to her to secure the dates. She then ignored e-mails contact number changed, no reply or any way of contacting. £1000.00 she had we had no holiday and no refund. PLEASE BE AWARE!!!! I would be happy if she returned our money to submit another review and be more positive but until she contacts us I feel that everyone should be made aware....... Unfortunately we had NOT gone through Villa Rentals this time, and Villa Rentals were very helpful when we previously booked and had a holiday through them, this time, I thought having been before it would be safe to go direct to the property owner... BIG MISTAKE!!!"

| "Casa Daisy is an excellent holiday home catering for a large group but still with some privacy, the large pool was fantastic and well maintained. The owners and the management were extremely helpful and could not have done anymore to help us out. We had a great holiday"

| "there was nothing that the owner could have done more for us she communicated with us if we had a problem, she bought extra heaters, lights,we had clean towels, there was so much space it was great having our own apartment as well because we could come and go as we pleased without keep asking for keys.The beds are clean and comfortable,the pool massive a bit cold but it was october some great places around as well moraia has a clean beach and we used the chinese at the end of the road, would advise taking torches though because we got lost on the way back and all the roads look the same and to walk the distance maybe in the daytime first. There were 16 of us for my mom and dads 50th anniversary, would totaly recommend for big celebrations. thank you lisa"

| "Very nice villa.
It was a bit hard to find and the electrics in some of the apartments need checking (there were also missing bulbs).
The location is very quiet and the apartments are the right size.
The swimming pool was bigger than we expected and was very clean so overall it was a great place to stay in.

| "After reading the previous comments on the website, our expectations were definitely exceeded, the villa is not perfect but it is excellent value for money - we went as a group of 18 people from 10 months to 45 years old and all enjoyed it very much. The pool was cleaned and checked by an english pool man every morning and our sheets were changed halfway through the holiday. Everything was in easy reach although we would recommend to hire a car - 35 mins to Benidorm, water park, safari park, adventure park etc and 5 mins to the beach. When I booked up, I have to admit some nerves with doing this online but will definitely be doing it again soon!!"

| "Pros - Nice Complex in good location with an amazing pool. Five minute walk to the best value Chinese restaurant I've ever been to.
Cons - Severely let down by very poor standard of cleaning in the apartments. Poor state of plumbing with many taps and showers either blocked by limescale or broken.
Get over the cons and it's a wonderful place, we did have brilliant weather though."

| "Excellant clean accommodation. Fantastic pool which was cleaned on a regular basis. We were expecting to have use of all 5 units but for some unknown reason we not allowed access to the basement unit, we never found out why. Another little niggle was that in one of the villas half the light bulbs weren't working, the handyman came to change them but found that it wasn't the bulbs but the electrics but couldn't do anything about it and we were left without light downstairs for the second week of the hols, this aside we all had a great time and would definately return to this villa."

| "We hired Villa Daisy for my 30th birthday. I was unsure of the number of people who would be able to make it, but the Owner was very flexible in not needing to know specifics.
The directions were very good, and the villa has a great view, it is not really walking distance to Calpe though, a car is needed, but there is lots of parking.
We were greeted with a little pack of essentials, which was appreciated, before we hit the supermarket.
The pool is great, its very big and was clean when we were there in mid October.
The rooms were quite spacious, and the cooking facilities, including bbqs were more than enough for 15 people.
I think the only thing we could find fault with was that some of the mattresses were a little worn, and you could feel the springs though them.
I would agree with one of the prior reviews, that the annex was quite damp, but I would also agree with the Owner that this is really an additional bit of space for large parties, and I would look on the villa as sleeping 16, not 18.
My summary would be that the villa is excellent value for money, and suited our requirements 100%. This is not a £5000 per week villa, but for what you pay I think you get something that is great!

| "Just returned to Uk after leaving sunny Spain . The villa turned out to be all that we had expected , great value for money and a good all round place for a large family holiday in the sun. We do reccomend a car for your stay. We will certainly book Villa Daisy again."

"Overall the Villa was good value for the price paid. The only thing we missed was air conditioning as it was extreamly hot at night although the Villa owners did supply a lot of electric fans. The villa is basic in many ways but then again nearly all self catering facilities in spain are. They are clean and well presented with all the usual items you require. Being a party of 15 having your own aprtment to retire to when you wanted a bit of peace and queit was great. The pool is excellent and we spent nearly every day it. The pool man seem to be there every other day cleaning and checking the water, some times at 600am as it was the only time the was nobody in it. The estate were the villa is located is vey quiet (till we got there) At the enterance to the estate the are a couple of bars come resaturants and a chinese . I would recommend the chinese as being the cheapest place to eat in Calpe. A car is need as the villa is on the outskirts of Calpe. The restuarant Iffach by the harbour is another good place to eat. TheOxford bar in the town centre is good for a drink and a laugh whilst you watch the worst Elvis/Roy Orbison impersonator i have ever seen. On the Thurday night we had a thunder storm when we were in the town centre when it had gone off we returned to the villa and sat around the pool watching the lightning strike the hills around Calpe. Better than any firework dislpay especially when you see the lights on the hills going out!! As i have said the villa was great for what we wanted but if you are expecting all the creature comforts of home you better stay at home."

thankyou for your comments stephen, as you know the villa is not advertised as having air conditioning as this would take the rental price up too high . We beleive in giving good value for money and from experience the air con running costs would not make that possible. However I know you appreciated the fans that we supplied. It was lovely to meet you and your family and we hope to see you again next year.

"The accomadation was clean and tidy but i felt it just missed the small finishing touches that could have given it some wow factor ie; towel hooks to the shower rooms matching crockery,new patio furniture,barbeques were not cleaned The welcome pack was a nice touch but would have been better already in the rooms not handed to us in one big box which looked like an after thought,the lower basement room is not habitable due to damp which i think could pose a health risk,I hope these critism are taken constructively because this property could be every thing you could ask for"

I appreciate your comments and have taken them on board. With respect villa Daisy is offered at such an affordable price to large families if we were to put the extra finishings and make it a wow factor villa the price would be a lot higher for our clients to rent. The fact that the villa you have said is clean and tidy is most important and exactly as it looks on our website. I feel it would have been nice if you had mentioned the we welcomed you at almost midnight due to your booking late flights and that the welcome packs were a gift from us to you. With regard to the apartment I appreciate the it was a bit damp due to being closed up for the winter,but we do not charge for this accomadation and it is simply for extra guests if your group goes over the recommended persons. For the majority of our guests villa Daisy is asa you have said "everything you could ask for"

| "We wanted to rent a villa for a group, but the mixture of ages ranged from babies to gradparents. This villa was perfect as well as all being together and having fun in the pool we each had our own house so we could tailor our holiday to our individual needs it was great. We booked a villa for 18 people last year and ended up with 3 bathrooms a one living room between us it was a nightmare!!! Casa Daisy was just perfect for a large group we will be comming back."
