| "there was 7 in our party,ages ranged from3 to 75.We had an excellent stay at the villa lauray.We all enjoyed the pool and all the faclities available to us at the villa.We hired a people carrier, which we found very useful,especially for the walk up the hill in the heat. 10/10 thank you"

| "Me and my husband went to this villa for our honeymoon and it was amazing, as I walked from the villa to the garden it had this feeling of paradise about it as the pool is surrounded my beautiful green plants. Everything was clean and the kitchen had everything you need. We had a car for the week and drove from dalaman to the villa without any problems and found it easy to find. The car was much needed, we used it every day and explored all around south turkey and we went to supermarkets and cooked in the villa which was lovely. We found a private beach around 10mins away in the car over a few mountains, For the week the car was 180 pounds and it was well worth it, many thanks to ray for organising it for us. We did not want to be in a tourist area and i found that where the villa was located was perfect as it was not far from tourist areas if you wanted to shop for gifts, it would take about 5-10mins in the car. It was a real relaxing holiday, the area was peaceful and calm, we will definitely go again, and we were so sad to leave.
I would never go to turkey in a hotel or holiday resort,

"Although the villa met all our needs, some of the cooking utensils and the cupboards were dirty.
The pool was kept spotless by the daily pool attendent however, there was an invasion of ants around the pool area.
The area in general was a great disappointment to all of us. It was Blackpool in miniature which is what the locals actually call it and not at all what we would normally choose.
I feel the description of the surrounding area was not very accurate.
Despite our dislike of the centre, we did go into the town for meals which were all of a good standard.
It is ideal to rent a car to be able to get out of the area and explore"

Very sorry that utensils were dirty, this is the one thing that we rely on guests putting away clean when they leave.
We agree Hisaronu is not to everybodys taste but the description, "This resort is lively with many shops, restaurants and bars" is fairly accurate. Olu Deniz is more relaxed and up market and Fethiye has a more "local" feel.

| "We have just got back from a week at the villa and are about to rebook straight away. The villa was outstanding...clean, spacious and the pool and garden area were to die for!!!! The villa is located in an ideal position to enjoy the nearby towns of Olu Deniz and Hisaronu. My whole family fell in love with the place and I would like to pass my sincere thanks to Ray and Laura for the smooth booking and transfers as well as making the villa a home from home. I have already started recommending the villa to everyone but am afraid I will miss my slot, there is now so much interest!!!! Thanks Ray and Laura. Amazing!!!!!"

| "We have just come back from spending 2 weeks at Villa Lauray and we were very sad at leaving. The villa is first class, had every thing and more you require for your stay, The air con was much appreciated during the night as the temperture outside rised. The pool and gardens were excellantly maintained. The short walk to the village was very enjoyable and you are able to purchase all your supplies and if the walk back up hill to the villa was to much then you can jump into a taxi for a few lira.
The owners Ray and Laura arranged our transfers from the airport and again this was first class. We will be going back again next year and hopefully for a few more after that."

| "Villa Laurey equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Private pool and outside space excellent and well maintained.
Within easy reach of Hisaranou although the villa is on a steep hill so not for the faint hearted especially in the Turkish sun!! Taxis and Dolmus are cheap enough so we didnt bother with a hire car. Fethiye and Olu Deniz close by and worth the visit, just hop on a dolmus.
Overall a very enjoyable holiday although if there was one area that I would comment on is that the beds in the villa were very uncomfortable!

| "This villa exceeded our expectations, and is equiped and maintained to a high standard. Its location is ideal, in a quiet area with great views but convienent for all thats going on in surrounding area, and thats a lot ! The local agent was very helpful when we had a minor medical issue and the transfers [same company as agent] went smoothly. The locals are friendly, foods good, weathers hot and the villa stunning. What more could you want. We shall be back!!"

The pool and garden were attended to daily and the rep, Gorden whe came to visit us on our second day was very helpful he checked we were happy with everything and gave us useful info. on area. We had a great time, with lots to do in the surrounding area yet the villa is in a quiet position. You would be hard pushed to find a better villa / location. Very highly reccomended. | "Our holiday at Villa Lauray was very an extremely enjoyable and relaxing time. From the pictures and description on the advert, the place looked very good and quite often reality does not live up to your expectations but on this occassion it did and more. The property is well maintained and has everything you need including good air conditioning which in the month of august is much needed. Everywhere was very accesible and although the walk up the hill in the heat was not like a stroll in the park it was manageable. The people in the area were very friendly and very trusting and tehre were plenty of places to enjoy a good meal at a reasonable price. We would thouroughly recommend this place although probably not to a family with young children in the month of August!"

| "We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in this villa. The whole experience from booking at Christmas to to coming home last week has been smooth and hassle free. The transfers to and from the airport were excellent, prompt and comfortable. the villa...fantastic. 5 adults stayed for 2 weeks in comfort. All amenities are in the villa, including a washing machine and iron! the pool was beautiful and tended twice daily by a gentleman who came and went without fuss. A couple of power cuts during our stay, common apparently, but not problematic. the weather was very hot but the pool and air-con made our stay pleasant. There is a lot to do in the area. Hisonaru is in walking distance and Fethiye and Oludeniz a short dolmus ride away. Ray was very helpful in replying to various queries that we had. We will come again and recommend to our friends."

| "Stayed in August 07 for 2 weeks, Probably the best villa we have ever rented. Spotlessly clean with lots of extras. Pool got a lot of use even at night with pool lights on. Used the bbq area as well as the outside covered patio. Near enough to Hisaronu walk to but would suggest a Cab ride back from Hisaronu was only £4 which was money well spent as villa is on a hill.
Temperture touched early 40s whilst we were there so the aircon was needed at night.
Hope to return next year..
Would recommend this villa to friends."

| "Very impressed with everything, the transfer was smooth and easy with very friendly driver . The villa was lovely, first impressions were of a very clean and fresh place to stay. Introduction to the area and what we needed to know was very good and again very friendly, they were there if we needed them but they left us alone otherwise to enjoy our holiday. A man came twice a day to attend the pool and a gardener to water area, but again very friendly and unobtrusive. all in all an excellent holiday and I would definatly recommend. Thank You"

| "This villa is very impressive, large, modern, and surrounded by a beautiful mature garden. The private pool is much needed in the hot afternoon, its also great to sit on the terrace overlooking the pool when iluminated in the evenings. We simply could not fault this place and are planning a return soon. Must also thank the transfer company for being punctual and Gordon the villa owners agent for being so helpful.

| "after staying in ovacik last year in a villa which was dissappointing we were nearly put off booking again. But we loved the area so gave it another try. This villa was fabulous, very homely, clean & had lots of little extras. We stayed in for 3 days & had bbqs round the pool. Absolutely lovely. Braved the pool on about 3 occassions but must admit its freezing, even on v hot days in late Oct.
Would not hesitate in recommending it to anybody."

| "From beginning to end we had a fantastic time. The pre arranged transfer went smoothly and the villa was spotless on arrival, we were more than delighted to find that it more than lived up to pics. on website. It’s in a peaceful location yet convenient for local towns and the beach. There is so much to see and do, we settled for the jeep safari and a day cruise from Olu Deniz beach, and loved both, but the icing on the cake was how warm and friendly the Turkish people were.
This was our first trip to Turkey but not our last!!
How we envy Laura & Ray the owners of this beautiful villa.

| "We just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our holiday.
The villa was superb and could not fault it.
We loved the area as it was nice and quiet but it was still close to the three main towns of Fethiye, Hisaronu and Olu Deniz if you wanted hustle and bustle.
Getting around was easy we used a local taxi, who was Ian and he looked after us for the two weeks we were there.
As it was our first time to Turkey we were so impressed with everything we will certainly be returning in the very near future and would rent Villa Lauray it was that good!!

| "I stayed at Villa Lauray in July 2007 with my family. We had a great time. The villa was extremely comfortable and exceeded our expectations. The pool was great and we all spent many hours lazing and cooling off in it. Particularly good was being able to swim late in the evening as the pool was lit.
It was a short taxi ride to Hisonaru (lively), Fethiye ,which was lovely and had an authentic feel about it, and Olu Deniz. We found the locals and particularly the taxi drivers very helpful, always going above and beyond the call of duty, carrying shopping, waiting, chatting etc. It was easy to get our provisions because the shopkeepers delivered everything we needed, including hot food, which was really useful.
The only downside for us was that it was very very hot and we didnt manage to see as much of the area as we would have liked due to the wilting temperatures. It was bearable at the Villa due to the excellent aircon and also the breeze that blows from the surrounding mountains.
All in all, this is an interesting place to visit and the people will make you feel really welcome. It's noticeably cleaner than a lot of holiday resorts we have been to and in 2 weeks there were no bad stomachs!
We are planning our next trip already!

| "EXCELLENT - is the best way to describe our holiday at Villa Lauray
The villa is just as described and is ideal for a relaxing poolside holiday with its excellent facilities or if you prefer to be more adventurous the range of activites available locally is unbelievable.
The whole experience from the initial booking to arriving back home was superb. Ray and Laura, the Villa owners, were very helpful booking our transfers and answered any query promptly.
The mobile phone supplied at the villa was extremely useful as we found a local taxi driver who would pick you up within 10 mins with very good rates.
The area is beautiful, the locals were extremely friendly and the food fantastic (the Chinese restaurant in Hisaronu - the Dragonara was very good).
Activities can be booked in Hisaronu, when booking make sure to barter, but they are exceptionally good value with an all day boat cruise (with lunch) costing £9 and half price for children. We did the lot - boat trips, jeep safari, horse riding, mud baths, quad bikes. Some of us even paraglided off Mount Babadag (6500ft) to land on Olu deniz beach - even my 12 year daughter did this and shes scared of heights!!!
Don't worry about booking this villa YOU WILL HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME.

"just got back from 3 weeks at villa & thoroughly enjoyed it . villa is in nice peaceful location with great views of the mountains , however one slight criticism was that no cleaners came all the time we were there , which means you have to wash your own towels ,bedding etc . but that aside we had a great time . thank you ray & laura"

Just to clarify Shaun’s comment regarding mid holiday cleaning. We decided not to add the cost of this to our weekly rates as some guests are happy to do their own, and it penalizes those on one week stays. We thought it fairer to keep the rental rate low and offer mid holiday cleaning at a charge. We are happy to pre book these, the costs are shown in the “extras” section when booking.

| "We have returned from a wonderfully relaxing holiday in this spacious and well-appointed villa, it’s like a home from home, even a Turkish mobile was supplied for our use. The good size pool and mature gardens were well maintained with the pool cleaned daily. The location is central and the views fantastic. We enjoyed just sitting chatting on the terrace to the early hours of the morning in the peaceful setting, We also visited the local areas of Fethiye, Olu Deniz, Hisiranou and Kaya which are within easy reach, with each area having it’s individual charm, although some areas of Hisorinou were a bit too lively for us.
As this was our first [but not last] trip to the area we were grateful to the owners for answering our pre. holiday enquiries and for the information pack at the villa.
As you can see we were impressed!!

| "We have just returned from 3 weeks in this wonderful villa. The living and terrace areas were much larger than other villas we have stayed at in this area and it’s furnished to a high standard. The views over the adjacent olive grove and up to the mountain are magnificent and much time was spent chilling out in pool and on terrace but when we did venture out there was lots to do. The boat trip was such good value and the jeep safari good fun. “Villalauray” is central for getting to Oludeniz, Hisaronou and Fethiye; we visited them all without the use of a car and found the food in their restaurants to be excellent.
To sum up we had a brilliant time, this “luxury villa” really is luxurious and in wonderful surroundings.

| "Wij hebben een hele leuke vakantie gehad in villa lauray!!... Het is een mooi verzorgde villa van alle gemakken voorzien en het zwembad was heel groot en goed verzorgd. De terrein bewaker die staat altijd voor je klaar. Verder is de omgeving prachtig je hebt vanuit de villa een heel mooi uitzicht! Het avond leven is heel erg gezellig. In de omgeving zelf zijn heel veel mooie dingen te bewonderen, en de bevolking is heel vriendelijk. We raden iedereen aan om hier eens een vakantie door te brengen.

| "We had a great holiday at Villa Lauray. The villa
is very spacious and well-designed. The views from the terrace and balconies over olive groves to mountains are lovely. The pool is a good size, immaculately maintained, and the pool lighting was great for evening swims. We enjoyed using the built-in BBQ for relaxing meals on the terrace.There is lots to do in the area - we did several boat trips, and a couple of organised excursions which were amazing value! One of the local highlights for the energetic is the lovely walk from beside the church in Kaya ghost village down the hillside to the blue lagoon which takes about two hours on a good waymarked path, is reasonably shady with fabulous views of the coast (sturdy footwear required!)"

We have recently returned from our holiday in Turkey having stayed in your villa and would just like to say what a lovely time we had.
Although we arrived late in the evening after flight problems, the transfer to the villa was very good and Cheryl was very helpful. We were unable to appreciate the wonderful villa and views until the following morning. Although we were only there for six nights we had a thoroughly enjoyable and restful time celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. We made good use of the dolmus and local taxi service by visiting Olu Deniz beach, Fethiye and Hisaronou and did a fair bit of walking too.
This, as you know, was our first visit to Turkey and we would certainly consider visiting again.

| "Tha villa is in excellent condition, beautifully decorated light and airy. It was like being home from home with all the comforts you may need. The garden is also immaculately maintained as is the pool - so much so that in the day we rarely ventured from its side (except to eat of course) The pick up and drop off was well timed and very comfortable. On arrival first impressions are that the villa is a bit out of the way - this was far from the truth - just down the road is a bar that does good breakfasts etc and five minutes further an adequate supermarket for your essentials. Night life wasn't much further away. the locals are so very friendly that there is nearly always someone around if your re unsure of anything. a super holiday was had!!!!"

| "After arriving back from Villa Lauray Turkey, I wanted to email and say what a wonderful time that was had by all in my party.
The villa itself is just like a home from home furnished to very high standards, I had overlooked the fact that it had a dishwasher, that made life so much easier, nobody wants to washup on holiday. (more fun out by the pool)
Just a short walk from the villa are a couple of small supermarkets, also a couple of quieter bars (which I must add that The Mirage Bar does a wonderful full english breakfast).
There are three lively towns near by that are a bus ride away no more than 10-15 mins, my holiday was an all ladies party but I must say that it would suit families or couples
also.
So to sum it up,excellent villa,lovely town,very friendly people a great holiday.
I will most certainly be going again and recommending it on to my family and friends.
