| "From initial contact to leaving our villa we were treated like family. We booked car hire (highly recommended as there is so much to see) restaurants and even pizza take outs from recommendations. Stunning views and great pool. Villa large, clean and has everything you need (even has loads of dvds to watch ). Thanks to Ian & Margaret for all your help. Phil and family."

The owners of the villa very easly contactable and very helpfull.
The villa was very well equipt with everything you needed.
A car is strongly advisable.
My family and I would definitaly consider going back to the villa.

"For such a large villa a dishwasher would be very useful, also the kitchen units were not in very good shape and everytime you opened the drawers they all fell down. It could have been a little dangerous. Apart from that the villa was very well equiped. We had a wonderful holiday but I would definatley recommend a car as walking to the beach and Kucukbuk Village is downhill and a the road is very uneven. Coming back is uphill and is very steep and hardwork to say the least especailly in the heat."
Owner reply:
:
A carpenter has now attended to the drawers and, in response to this and other requests, a dishwasher has now been installed.

| "As a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children aged10,12 +16) we stayed at Villa Van Hille for 2 weeks at the end of July and had a fantastic holiday.
The villa is very spacious and would comfortably accomodate a couple of families with kids. It was clean and well fitted out, with good cooking and barbecue facilities and plenty of entertainnment if required (books, TV, DVD,CD Player - if the heat gets too much).
The situation of the villa in relation to the complex as a whole is ideal being right next to the swimming pool which we all enjoyed. The clean pool was larger than we expected and was never busy, we had it to ourselves for many periods. Having our own sunbeds was excellent.
As neither of us had ever driven abroad before, we were very apprehensive about hiring a car. However we took on board the advice of the owners and in the event driving around the Bodrum Peninsula provided to be an essential and very rewarding part of the holiday. We visited most places recommended by the owners in the comprehensive instructions they provided- markets(a lot of fun), restaurants, bays - and found plenty of gems of our own. There is something to suit all tastes within a short drive, ranging from the quiet and picturesque nearby towns of Gundogan and Yalikavak to the larger and livelier town of Bodrum.
We have already started looking at flights with a view to returning to this Villa next year."

The Villa was beautifully presented with everything you need for a great holiday and on site pool nearby. We would recommend a hire car although local buses are frequent .Owners are extremely helpful with usefull advice on car hire, markets, towns to visit etc and the welcome pack a perfect touch."

| "We loved our holiday even before we landed. We were given so much help with flights/ car hire/ restaurants / that everything went exactly as planned. The villa is perfect for a relaxing holiday. Clean, comfortable and everything you need. The welcome pack and mobile phone great touches. A car is invaluable to explore the area but the pool is perfect for staying at home. The local bus service well used but taxis easy to get. The best restaurants (these were recommended) are in Gundogan and Yalikavak. Our tip... follow the tips given by the owners...they even make the villa seem home with pictures of their dog everywhere. Thank you Ian & Margaret...we will be back."

| "Our family stayed in this villa last month. We found it great value for money and because we are a party of 5 had loads of room and space to chill out. They even have pictures of their dog at the villa to make you feel at home.
We rang the owners before flying and found their advice invaluable. We hired a car on their advice and saved money via their contacts. The reception lady "Loes" is Dutch and speaks perfect English and is always available for tips on restaurants (including hers in nearby Yalikavak). As we arrived very early in the morning the welcome pack was a nice touch. The mobile phone was reasuring but luckily not needed.
Pool fantastic, people friendly, and yes we will go back, as will our friends.

| "The property was excellent value for money and our party of 11 fitted in with out any problems. I liked that the living and main kitchen area was inbetween the two bedroom floors.
Loes who met us was very friendly and helpful, she helped arrange the hire car.
The pool is large and very clean, but because there are areas which appear unfinished (a wooden bridge at the far end) it wouldn't be safe to let younger children wonder there unaccompanied.
I would highly recommend a car - the road leading up to the property is very steep and the elderly or very young might find this a problem.
All in all a very enjoyable holiday and the owners of the villa were very helpful with their advise prior to us going to Turkey.

| "On arrival our party were overwhelmed with the beauty of the villa and the tranquil surroundings. We arrived about five in the morning and sat on the roof terrace watching the sun come up - amazing!
The villa was very spacious and well equipped. It was a nice touch that a generous welcome pack was there when we arrived.
The manager Loos was lovely and it was a good idea to have a mobile left in the villa to contact her incase there was an emergency.
We hired cars which is definetly recommended as the villa is situated about 20 mins walk from the bigger resort of Gundogan, where there is a large supermarket, restaurants, water sports etc.
From Gundogan, turkish buses (i think called Dolmus) run every 15 mins or so and will take you to about nearly every surrounding resort. We chose to have a couple of nights out in Bodrum (about 30 mins drive) so instead of having someone driving or spending lots on taxis we all jumped on the dolmus which run to about five in the morning.
We had such a good holiday that we are visiting again in October. Recommend to those wanting a relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings, not really for those looking for busy night life on their doorstep (Gumbet is the busy night life resort for that).
