"Jolanta & I enjoyed Casa Pequena very much. A beautiful little hideaway, 3kms from Motril It is quiet, has beautiful gardens, and fabulous views of the Granada mountainside. The owner Mr Sanderson is a lovely friendly man, who made sure we had everything. The accommodation also has Internet Wi Fi and Sky TV and really Spanish style! If you are looking for a really nice quiet hide away, and great value for money this Casa Pequena has to be top of your list. Car essential! "

"We were very pleased with this property. The setting and the facilities were very much to be praised with some unique and charming features, the honesty fridge springs to mind. The description was accurate, perhaps even understated and Patrick is an absolute gem who took very good care of us. The pool was spotlessly clean and the gardens stunning. The property was charming although it could have been cleaner. We did suffer some noise from the adjacent property playing their radio loudly and barking dogs, but this was a small blight on an otherwise very relaxing and idyllic holiday. We would most certainly return to CASA PEQUEÑA,"

"After an extremely relaxed enjoyable week, the easy way to explain this villa is to read all the reviews that have been submitted and we whole-heartedly agree with the majority. Yes you do require an open mind and accept the surroundings, but put those aside, ignore the access/ greenhouses, and this place is exactly what you want for a weeks get away from the general stresses of life. Patrick, Ben and Gerry are wonderful hosts, just remember to take the biscuits - not for Patrick tho! If you are arriving out of season, then be prepared for some quiet resorts however that didnt affect any part of the holiday, as most of our nights we stayed in the grounds using all facilities, BBQs, outside kitchen, pool area and alike. To sum it all up a perfect highly enjoyble and relaxing holiday was enjoyed by us both, in surroundings that couldnt have been better. Thank you Patrick and the boys!!"

"We stayed at Casa Pequena cottage from 15/09/09 to 23/09/09. We had nine days of peace and tranquillity. The cottage is very well equiped, and well thought out. It is like home from home. We spent many sunny days and evenings on the roof terrace, and in the lovely gardens. Ben and Gerry kept us company. Patrick is a lovely host and does not intrude in any way. There was another couple in the apartment, we hardley ever saw them as both properties are very private. Cant wait to go back next year. Thankyou Patrick for a lovely holiday."

"Casa Pequena is a really pleasant and quirky place to have a relaxing holiday and not be surrounded by the typical costa fish ,chips and english breakfast brigade. This is a mainly spanish resort for the Spanish so everything was cheap but of high quality including food and meals.Due to the lack of rain the gardens were not at there best but were filled with some wonderful plants and plenty of nooks and cranies to sit and enjoy .The pool was great especially after a day sunbathing at the beach.Patrick was very helpfull whenever we had a query and never invaded our privacy. The casa was very well equiped but not really suitable for anyone over six foot!!! The surrounding area especially the mountains were breathtaking."

"We had a wonderful 2 weeks at casa pequena, the setting is so peacefull and relaxing. The cottage is well equipt with all mod cons, and well furnished. The gardens are very nice and well kept and the best bit the pool is a great area to sit and relax and enjoy a cooling dip when the sun gets to much. Patrick the owner is a very accomodating host with a wealth of local knowledge, and the dogs Ben & Jerry are great fun to have around."

Review submitted by Lloyd from Christchurch (Submitted: 12/08/2009)
"It is not made clear in the description, that a lot of the amenities / areas at the property are shared both with the owner, and with another holiday property on the site. Additionally, the photos on the web site are not very recent, and the garden has become overgrown, and some general maintenece is required here and there. The property is set amongst what can be best decribed as an industrised agriculture centre, with various machinery such as leaf blowers operatiing outside the siesta hours. Aside all this - we did have a wonderful and relaxing break"

Owner reply: :
To clarify:-

1) CASA PEQUEÑA website description is accurate and clearly states, shares interesting sub-tropical gardens with the owners traditional farmhouse Cortijo Nuevo & El Apartamento - also available for holiday rentals. Dozens of previous renters have understood and benefitted from this arrangement.
2) Amenities/areas shared = swimming pool, Summer kitchen & car park. Then only with any occupants staying in EL APARTAMENTO (1787) usually 2, occasionally 4 and sometimes none! I live on site in Cortijo Nuevo, respect guests privacy and do not use these same facilities.
3) Casa Pequeña enjoys two other private areas, a large terrace at ground level with BBQ and a roof terrace - both furnished.
(El Apartamento, also has two other private terraces).
In addition there are four more small terraces and other seating areas dotted around the gardens, that are indeed communal.
4) Pity that Lloyd did not grasp the ethos behind the gardens -informal in design, many years established. Manicured perfection they are not, but more a hybrid cottage/jungle style - aims to attract some wildlife. This overgrown garden remains quite an asset in parched Southern Spain and most visitors find it a refuge during the long hot Summers - normally dry May/late September. The importance of natural shade (rather than striped umbrellas) cannot be over emphasised.
Incidentally, nearly all the garden photos were shot Spring 2009 Feb/March time and therefore recent.
5) True the immediate surrounding area is intensive agriculture (preferable to housing estates/holiday complexes, that blight much of the coast?) but remains ordinarily quiet. Lloyd experienced limited noise couple of mornings as farmer next door preparing greenhouse for new planting of tomatoes. This happens infrequently - crop 3 times a year.
6) In spite of disappointments resulting in low score, pleased that Lloyd still had a WONDERFUL & RELAXING BREAK.

"Just back from our second visit. The Casa is beautiful and has the most wonderful kitchen which is typically Spanish but with all mod cons. The gardens and pool were as always delightful. Patrick is a gracious host and we miss Ben and Gerry so much when we leave. My only gripe was that it was to hot!!!! A wonderful holiday as always, Sonya, Dan and Jim"

"Overall, we had a lovely stay in Casa Pequena. Patrick could not have been more helpful and as others have said the Casita has everything that you could possibly need during your stay. We enjoyed the company of Ben and Jerry and evenings with wine and music cooking in the ouside kitchen by the pool which is beautiful. The gardens are lovely and the area is very quiet. It is possible to walk to two local bars/restuarants and we found them to be extremely freindly with good food. Do not under estimate the strength of the sun on the roof terraces even with the lovely breezes, we did and got burnt on the first day!"

"Casa Pequeña is situated in a quiet area near a river which, when low, a motley herd of cows graze. The house is spacious and very tastefully furnished, with a well-equipped kitchen and modern hi-fi and satellite TV, should you miss the outside world. The garden, which has a pool, is large enough almost to get lost in with fruit trees, shrubs and a large variety of flowers, beautifully and almost inconspicuously tended by the owner, Patrick. There are so many nooks in the garden where you can sit in the sun or shade, take a dip and even enjoy a barbecue in the evening. There is a stunning panoramic view of the sea and the mountains from the roof terrace which is visited by light refreshing mountain breezes. It is an ideal place for people who enjoy the peace and quiet of the country and yet have easy access to the beach and the mountains. The near-by coastal town of Salobreña with an ancient city-centre provides you with pleasant walks and good restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our trips into the surrounding mountains stopping in lovely old "white villages". Patrick is a very welcoming host, you wouldnt know hes there, but should you need him hes always easy to find. He knows a great deal about the area and can give you any advice you might want with regard to sight-seeing and practical matters such as the best supermarkets in the neighbourhood. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Pequeña and would love to stay there again."

"My father and I stayed in Casa Pequena for a week at the beginning of April. Patrick (the owner) was extremely welcoming- hed left us lots of food essentials in the fridge and cupboards so we didnt have to rush off to the shops straight away! Patrick also had two lovely dogs- Ben and Jerry who would sit at our feet and keep us company! The gardens around the property were absolutely beautiful- filled with birds and butterflies. Unfortunately though it wasnt really warm enough to enjoy the pool at the end of the garden or sit out in the evening. Id reccommend it to anyone whos looking for a quiet retreat in Spain."

"a beautiful, incredibly restful and relaxing holiday place, with gorgeous gardens full of flowers even in february. very well situated for visiting Granada and the coastal towns of Salobrena etc. Very well equipped with Sky, dishwasher, microwave, etc (none of which we have at home!) and comfortable living areas inside and out. we really loved our stay here - one of the best places weve stayed in 8 years of visiting the Med. Shame it was (in Feb) a bit too cold to swim in the pool - but we still sat out most evenings. The cooking area is fantastic - Its a pity that more English people dont make use of the Paelleria cooker outside! Patrick and his dogs made us very welcome, and we loved the quiet, off the track situation with beautiful viewsl. Would (and will) highly recommend! "

"The house was really well prepared to a high standard. Facilities such as cable TV and wireless internet made the stay very comfortable. The garden and pool were lovely. We would like to return at a warmer time of year to take full advantage of the pool. A really relaxing holiday in a very pleasant environment."

"This is our 2nd time to Casa Pequena this year, and we thouroughly enjoyed ourselves on both occasions. The apartment contains everything you would need to make your holiday a comfortable and relaxing stay. The garden is beautiful, with a number of spots for you to sit and relax. The pool area is lovely, with an area for BBQ. Casa Pequena is in a perfect location for getting out and about. The town of Motril is a 5 min drive, the beaches are just a short drive away, and Granada is only an hour away. We will definetely return."

"Simply the best...2 weeks is not nearly time enough to spend in this lovely Casita. Off the beaten track yet close to a multitude of interesting places to visit, things to see & do, or if stressed by modern-day life, simply while-away the days in the peace of a beautiful garden - BLISS! I plan to return soon with some family members and rent El Apartamento also, cant wait! Dont think twice when choosing Casa Pequeña website description accurate, very clean on arrival, well-equipped + all creature comforts and still terrific value for money. You will not be disappointed - A1. Tomorrow, I reluctantly leave behind warm Andalucian sunshine and low prices for a wet, grey and expensive UK. Many thanks Patrick for a splendid stay in this gem of a property, far from your average holiday let - go on, try something different."

"We have visited this location before , but not this apartment, as usual everything was very realizing. Everything you need to have a pleasant time is provided, including if wanted the companionship of the two dogs, ”Ben & Gerry”. We had a little rain but it did not deflect from the time we spent relaxing. Would recommend this location for anyone who wants privacy and peace and quite."

"Casa Pequena is a little paradise amongst the tomato tunnels in Motril. The cottage is quirky and cosy and the garden has a really magical quality. We stayed for a week and didnt want to leave the property as it was so nice and relaxing. Patricks attention to detail is fantastic and there are lots of surprising little touches to discover all around the cottage and garderns. I felt like a child again exploring the gardens and its variety of flowers and fruits and the amazing butterflies, insects and creatures that lived there. The pool is perfect if you want to spend full days relaxing and sun-bathing and the outdoor kitchen is better equipped than my kitchen at home! We found the cottage had everything we could possibly need and well exceeded our expectations with plenty of complementary food and drink on our arrival and even a dish washer, washing machine and smoothie maker! Patrick is always on hand with information on anything you may need but is never intrusive in any way. We had a truly magical holiday at the Casa Pequena and will look forward to returning again."

"We arrived from Canada tired and with 8 hours of jet lag on a Saturday afternoon. Patrick, the owner, had abundant food and drink awaiting us in the little casa so we could relax and enjoy the wonderful gardens and pool. A week has slipped by and reluctantly we must move on, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This is not your average holiday rental, the casa is full of character including three doors, a spiral staircase and a roof terrace, it takes about a week to figure out the layout. There are an amazing number of neat spots to sit and relax, eat a meal or enjoy the sun and we had the pool to ourselves most of the time. The surroundings area has been affected by the development of commercial greenhouses but the garden is a true oasis. Patrick is available when needed but allows his guests the run of the place undisturbed. Ben and Jerry the dogs kept friendly eye on us. We hope to return someday."

"This was our second trip to El Cortijo Nuevo and we were not disappointed. Stayed comfortably in the Casa Pequena as a family of four, the layout and all the outdoor terraces meant we could all find our space when needed. Property was very well equipped and the owner Patrick as ever friendly and helpful when needed. We have all come away again with some beautiful memories of our stay at this spot and of the beaches and countryside in the surrounding area."

"This part of the Spanish coastline is arid inspite of the name Costa Tropicana. The mountains come close to the sea and any flat area is under intensive market gardening with plastic greenhouses. Cortijo Nuevo is in a colourful garden with shade and sunny areas, a small pool and terraces for dining/sitting outdoors. The rooms are accessed from outside so it is pleasant to live there in the summer. There is every amenity and kind of equipment. The host is attentive but has a relaxed manner . His dogs like people and we liked his dogs. The location is good for Granada, Sierra Nevada and the beach at Saborena. We enjoyed the tranquility of a rural location."

"Casa la pequena, is a beautiful property, set within the most fantastic gardens. The property has everything you would need to make your holiday just perfect...from the basics to the unexpected ie a blender which can crush your ice to make the perfect margheritas, and a mosquito net around the bed to protect you from those nightime beasties. The dogs Ben & Jerry are absolutley adorable, and are a pleasure to have around. The property is set in the perfect location, as its only a 10 -15 min drive to the beach...depending which one you go to (we liked Salobrena). Granada is just an hour away, and the directions to the Alhambra Palace are easy and hassle free to follow. The Sierra Nevadas are also easy to get to from Casa la pequena. Dont really want to recommend this place to anyone, as we are planning to return next year, and the more people that go the harder it will be to book our slot. "

"We had a wonderful, relaxing time at the Casa from the moment we arrived. The welcome pack was excellent and there are plenty of shops a short drive away for further supplies. The Casa is well equiped and we enjoyed cooking with herbs from the beautiful garden as well as making G&T's with lemons fresh from the tree! The host is helpful and welcoming but not intrusive in any way. He had plenty of suggestions re beaches, attractions etc although we were quite happy to lounge about by the pool and enjoy the lovely garden! I would definately recommend this place for a quiet get- away for couples."

"The accomodation was lovely. A tranquil setting yet close to the town. The garden is wondeful. All facilities provided including washing machine and dishwasher. The sun terrace is not overlooked and has splendid views. You will NOT like this accomodation if you want a selection of bars and restaurants on your doorstep and typical hotel style accomodation! Go to Malaga instead! The town is 2-3 kms distance and it is an unspoilt Spanish resort - long may this continue! You will need your own transport. We enjoyed days out exploring the area - the mountains, the mountain towns and the lovely coast. We were happy to relax on the terraces and the garden - the pool and bar-b-q area are lovely. There is plenty of room for alfresco dining. Read the owners web-site all information is there. "

Review submitted by Chris from London (Submitted: 20/04/2008)
"This is a lovely property. The owner - who is very helpful - has made a real effort with the gardens, which are excellent, and has built a pool and outdoor cooking area which will be fantastic in summer. The house (there are a couple of different buildings - we stayed in a one bed house) is small but very well formed with a good kitchen and roof terrace. There are a few things that might be an issue - firstly the bedroom is a separate room to the rest of the house. Secondly there is a spiral staircase to get from kitchen to lounge, or you have to go outside. The area is a commercial agricultural area so don't go if you are expecting tourist villages and beaches. Overall I'd say it was good for people who wanted somewhere quiet and self contained for a break but probably less good for those who are looking for scenic countryside. The owner is very helpful - you will almost certainly have to call him to find the place!"

"We were looking for a quiet relaxing holiday and CASA PEQUEÑA was the perfect location. The accommodation was full of character - the high points being the comprehensively equipped kitchen with it's spiral staircase, the stunning views from the roof terrace and the extensive gardens. The welcome pack that Patrick left was extremely thoughtful, with everything we needed to make a meal and set us up for the first few days - which really took any pressure off and allowed us to relax straight away. The town of Motril was worth exploring and there were plenty of beaches within a 15 minute drive. Salobrena was particularly good for restaurants, and it's worth mentioning the English speaking internet cafe on the beach front. If you've got time, it's worth a drive up into the hills. All in all the casa was perfect for two, with plenty of little corners to escape in the sunshine."

"The property is furnished to a high standered with all the comforts you would have in your own home. The property has an exceptional garden with many outdoor rooms each with its own unique character. All of which offer shade or sun. The swimming pool is an added bonus which is available any time. The location of the property is on the outskirts of Motril and requires transport to get out and about to see the surrounding areas which are all within a reasonable drive. The owner Patrick is an exceptional host and takes great care of the properties and gueust alike. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Pequena. The casa is absolutely gorgeous, with stunning gardens and a wonderful, relaxing ambience. Patrick was a fabulous host and the welcome pack of wine, cheese, bread etc, was a lovely touch. We found that Motril was a great base for exploring some of the less touristy parts of Andalucia, with the casa only being a short drive from the stunning Alpujarras mountains. We took our 2 year old daughter along with us, who loved the swimming pool and made great friends of Ben and Gerry. We would recommend the casa to anyone after a chillout and a break from the hustle and bustle of life. The roof terrace at night is particulary special. Enjoy!"

"The four of us (two adults, and two twelve year old boys) have just returned from a week at Casa Pequena, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We wish we could have stayed on another week. The garden is a delight for all the senses. Our boys enjoyed the pool on the long hot days, and we sat out until late at night in the many different parts of the garden. We also enjoyed using the very well stocked kitchen. We packed a fair bit in over the week: Malaga for the Picasso Museum; the Alpujarras (visited the Tibetan Monastery there: a wild and lonely spot); resorts at Salobrena, Calohonda (where our boys played football with the locals), Amunecar and Castell de Ferro; Nerja (astonishing caves); and did some mountain walking around Itrabo, although August is a bit hot for that sort of thing. We regret not getting to the Alhambra. It's worth booking tickets online weeks in advance, or you'll have to get up early and queue for hours to get the tickets available on the day. Patrick is, as other reviews say, the perfect host: friendly and informative while being totally unobtrusive. Thanks, Patrick, for making it a holiday to remember."

"We have just returned home from a far too short 4 day stay at Casa Pequena. The property is quirky, very appealing and extremely well equipped. The welcome pack was excellent....and very welcome (especially the Cava)! The garden is a little oasis! We relaxed, read books, barbecued every night and generally unwound. Patrick is the perfect host - available but unobtrusive. Casa Pequena is well located for the Alpujarras, Granada and Salobrena. Try restaurant El Chambao de Joaquim right at the northern end of the excellent beach in La Herradura. Fantastic location and lunch."

"Casa Pequeno is a delightful place to stay. The patio of the cottage leads directly onto the gardens and pool area. The gardens designed by the owner Patrick are a credit to him, designed with shady and sunny areas. The roof top terrace is a lovely place to sit and have dinner and watch the sun set behind the mountains. The kitchen is very well equipped with all mod cons. Only 5 mins from Motril by car, there are numerous restaurants and tapas bars to enjoy the flavours of the mediteranean, not an `english bar` in sight. Patrick the owner is there if you need anything, but not intrusive in any way. The two resident dogs Benny and Jerry will also make you welcome! A very enjoyable holiday"

"What a lovely house to spend a week recharging your batteries. So peaceful and private in the wonderful gardens and pool area. So many little places to sit and relax that we couldn't get through them all in just one week. Patrick , the owner left the biggest welcome pack we have ever seen, which meant we could start relaxing straight away and not have to worry about shopping. With a well equipped kitchen and a beautiful herb garden a culinary expert would want for nothing here. It it this attention to detail that's makes this house so unique. Overall well presented and tastefully decorated and two lovely dogs that will welcome you with open paws , we highly recommend Casa Pequena. We would however recommend that you hire a car as the town is five minutes drive."

"ok, we're biased - we've stayed before, we loved it so we came back. Hopefully we'll be back again. The local area around Motril remains unspoilt by the inevitable onset of tourist property development, the sugar cane is mostly gone now replaced by commercial agriculture (plasticultura). For scenery you can be in the Alpujarras in an hour. Granada and the Alhambra a bit longer. You can visit long beaches or rocky coves along the coastline. The accomodation is great - quirky design and location - but with everything you need to be self sufficient set in a marvelous, peaceful garden. Swim, rustle up some food and then sit on the balcony in the evening, listen to the birds - no bars or disco. Yesterday we played chess in the peace of the garden, sat on a beach looking up at snow-covered Sierra Nevada peaks, and by nightfall we were in Devon. What more could you want."

From the moment we arrived we were looked after very well by the owner who was there if you needed anything but otherwise very unobtrusive. The food and wine awaiting us on the first night was very much appreciated too. Also a great base if you are wanting to visit other villlages in the area. We wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending this place to prospective guests."

" We stayed at Casa Pequena In April 2007, whilst searching the area for a property to purchase. Did'nt do too much research - enjoyed the Casa a little to much!! What a beautiful setting (all be it surrounded by plastic). The gardens that Patrick has put so much hard work into are a delight, his Dad a pleasure to chat with, his gorgeous dogs (who went mad when we first arrived and thereafter didnt find us interesting at all) a delight. Welcome pack - very welcome and enjoyable - especially the Cava after a days travelling. Casa - quirky! We loved quirky!! Clean, well stocked, quiet in fact anything you could want for a happy romantic (candles everywhere) holiday. we shall return. Well done Patrick - you work hard to ensure your guest enjoy!! "

"Even for a long winter let, i.e. February and March, we were very comfortable and well looked after by the owner, including our small dog. The kitchen was extremely well equipped for a self-catering property as was the rest of the Casita. The garden and luckily the weather were marvellous. A lot of road and drainage work was going on, but that will only improve the area. Well worth a visit."

The kitchen had everything we could possibly require and the welcome pack of food and wine upon arrival was an added bonus and made all the difference when we were tired and hungry. It is a very relaxing place to stay and we hope to visit again in the summer season."

"CASA PEQUEÑA - a stunning little property 5 minutes from Motril where you can find everything you need. We love this part of Spain, beautiful scenery, quiet beaches, good food and places to stay like Patricks apartments. The 'little house' was amazing. Patrick should be very proud, and the care he took to welcome us really made the Honeymoon for us. We were so content sat our little table drinking wine and beer all day in peace, and Kharma still got to watch Eastenders each night!! Thank you Patrick, I hope everything is well. Say hi to Ben & Jerry for us, they are real characters."

Owner reply: :

"Casa Pequena is a great place to stay if you want to travel around the area. A very friendly welcome, especially from Ben & Jerry! Everything we needed was in the accommodation. A great place to relax & enjoy the weather. This accommodation is particularly suited for adults. All our friends have children so I dont think we would recommend it to them. However, if you are looking for a romantic break then this is definitely the place for you... "

"casa pequena, we were very pleased with our stay, the villa is a lot more private than we anticipated, expect a friendly welcome from the owner patrick and his very well behaved dogs Ben & Jerry. The gift food package on arrival is an excellent treat and helps you ease into the holiday mood as soon as you arrive without the hassle of having to find the local supermacardo as soon as you arrive. The gardens are as good as in the pictures a real treat. the villa is ideally placed for exploring local beaches and surrounding areas and the local town Motril is very clean and tidy with all the facility's needed. Do visit Salobreno especially at night. Will be re - visiting if possible."

"Anyone staying there would not want to leave. It has everything and more, so good I could live there. Great for getting about as central to get out and about. It was well equiped and very clean, the gardens were somthing for the owner to be proud of. 5 stars from us and I hope we get in the same time next year and every year after that."

Owner reply: :

"February 2006 - 'we had a lovely relaxing stay...thank you for making us feel so welcome and for providing such a calming environment to unwind in. Even though we encountered the coldest weather of the year, we had a lovely time...the laptop worked beautifully'.
Take care for now.

"The most relaxing holiday we've ever had – so peaceful. The owner couldn’t be more helpful, there if you need help, but otherwise unobtrusive. Everthing we needed was there – excellently equipped kitchen, satelite TV, wireless broadband internet, comfy bed … even hot water bottles. The layout of the villa is a little quirky – but that only added to the charm. Delightful mature gardens & private pool, which aren’t over-looked by any close neighbouring properties. Helps if you like dogs as the owner has 2 fairly large, but very friendly hounds called Ben & Gerry. A car is a must as it’s too far to walk to either the town (Motril) or the sea. We’ve already booked for next year – which can’t come soon enough. Sally & Graeme"

Owner reply: :
Many thanks Graeme & Sally, pleased you enjoyed your stay & found time to relax in the gardens. Ben & Jerry missing you already! See you next time.

'You've done a fantastic job with Casa Pequeña & the garden, its a fantastic environment for a restful holiday. We certainly had the most relaxing holiday that we've ever had! We really can't think of anything you could do to improve the Casita ... it has everything that you could need, whilst maintaining the traditional Spanish feel to it.

'thank you so much for providing such a wonderful holiday base. We loved Casa Pequeña with its spiral staircase and sun-drenched roof terrace, looking out onto those lush gardens. We particularly appreciated how well stocked the house was ... we really feel that you went above & beyond the necessary, to provide a really idyllic holiday villa. Thanks again for your kindness'.

"The Property is situated in Market Garden Greenhouse farmland East of Motril in 'Spanish' Spain. A delightful and relaxing holiday was the result and the roof terrace above the garden afforded a cooling breeze and stunning views of the coast, Sierra Nevada Mountains, and Motril itself. The property was very well equipped and the owners very welcoming and helpful. A definite must-try for the independent traveller wishing to escape 'Little-Britain on the Costas!"
