"We had an excellent holiday Villa Teresa is in an ideal location, quiet but with easy access to Rethimno and the National Highway. The house was comfortable and both patios were greatly appreciated. The sound of the sheep bells in the evening was a delight and Yannis taverna very convenient for a meal out. Good to have Vangelis on hand although we only had to call him to replace some light bulbs. The ladies who came to clean did a first rate job, very thorough. Nicely fitted bathrooms. Equipment was generally fine, but limited in the cooking department - no barbecue tools, a shortage of pans, and we had to buy tea towels. The kettle was badly scaled and the filter to catch the bits was split. And a two-slice toaster for up to six people...? Outside, we couldnt use the sun loungers without cushions and Vangeliss solution of putting a towel on them was hardly adequate. More local info on visits, places to eat etc would help, and we have vowed never again to watch BBC World News! Hope these comments are useful - Villa T is so good in itself it is a pity if the kind of minor but irritating omissions detract from the overall satisfaction. "

"This is certainly the sort of villa I would love to own myself - a real home from home."

"hi ya . weve just come back from villa theresa and the villa itself was luvly, very new and clean. its location is very rural, but we enjoyed that and we had a car so could venture out in the evenings, we found a little village call ed platanas which had lots of tavernas and shops and a very nice beach. the only thing that let the villa down was the pool was tiny,ok if you have wheeny ones, but my boys were a tad dissappointed. but still we made the most of it.vangelis was very helpful and always helped us out if we needed anything."

"What a surprise. We had never had a villa holiday before so did not know what to expect. The villa was perfect for our holiday. Vangellis was really friendly and so helpful. The maid service was excellent. Crete is a lovely country and we will certainly be comming back. The people of Crete were very friendly and could not do enough to help you. The villa was as described, very clean, with everything you could want home from home."

"A lovely, newly built and comfortable house in a peaceful location, we especially liked the large terrace outside the upstairs bedrooms for drinks in the evening when the sun has gone from downstairs."

"for a fortnight, from the end of may, we had a fantastic holiday. my children (5 & 6 ) had the bucket, spade, sea and sunshine holiday i wanted them to enjoy. the villa fully met expectations being very clean, well equiped and a very pleasent environment from which to enjoy our holiday. our relaxation was hugely enhanced by the incredibly thorough and thoughtful maid service, while the generousity and kindness of vangelis would be difficult to surpass. given the oppotunity, i would happily repeat this experience."

"If you are looking for a place to spend a relaxing holiday in peace and quiet with plenty of privacy, then this brand new villa is for you. It's close enough to Rethymnon town for an evening out but set far enough away from the main road and traffic noise. The villa is very well appointed throughout and you will feel right at home from the moment you unpack. There are supermarkets and shops only a few minutes drive away so you don't have to go far to stock up if you don't wish to. Maid service was very regular - every other day. Our only critisism was that they tended to turn up quite late in the day which was awkward as she certainly didn't hurry! Also we experienced cleaners just popping in unannounced and had to take to locking the door from the inside. Other than that we would cetainly recommend this villa. It's gorgeous!"

"Perfect villa for our honeymoon! With one of us being a 'hotel snob' (read: posh golf resorts or mountain retreat preference) and the other being a 'if it has a bed I'm happy' traveler, we were not sure what to expect for the extremely reasonable price for this villa. Voila! It was perfect for both of us. Well built, stunning views, tiny (but functional) pool, all the amenities, the friendliest agent, in the perfect spot for exploring the West of Crete (and the east with some driving). Very close to the town of Rethymnon, it still requires a car or motor transport as it's far from bus stops, but that adds to the secluded ambience. Waking up to the goats' bells, the seaview in the sun, the mountains in the evening as the sun sets...Yet we could easily see our blended family joining us at the Villa Teresa and it's adjoining Villa Christina. We will definitely return; how could we not?"

"My wife, my two little boys and I stayed at this accomodation for two weeks in April and had a great time. The Villa was spotless from top to bottom. Plenty of room for us all - it was like a home form home. Lovely bedrooms and a large sitting/dining room. The pool was a little on the small side but the boys loved it so this did not spoil our holiday at all. Two bathrooms came in very handy as well. The 'Boomerang' Channel on the multi channel TV was great for us also as it meant there were no real early mornings for my wife and I - and the boys could watch their favourite cartoons till we got up! Supermarkets anly a 5 min drive away and a superb Bakery (you must try their Baklava) We drove from Chania (you must have a car to get to the Villa) and the directions from the airport to the villa (from the UK owner) were great. The Agent - Vangellis - was superb making sure we were ok and bringing the boys and us Easter gifts. The towels etc were changed every two days and the Villa cleaned from top to bottom. What a nice feeling when we got back from our day on the beach or in the lovely town of Rethymnon to have a clean and tidy Villa.Excellent. We have stayed at many Villas all over Europe and this must rank as one of the best. What this accomadation offers is freedom to do as you like. Crete is such a beautiful part of the world and the Greek way of life is vary laid back. This Villa is ideal for a beautiful laid back holiday."

"Stayed at this villa for two weeks in march with 2 friends. More than ample space - can easily accomodate 6 persons. Villa was spotless and maid service was frequent and incredably thorough. One of the best aspects was the attentive and thoughtful local agent who was always available to answer questions. Had been warned that towels weren't provided but they were actually provided and changed every two days or so. Location is also gorgeous with sea and mountain views. 15 min walk (uphill) to village of Prines with a couple tavernas and small supermarket. But a rental car is definitely required. Overall an excellent experience and good value for money, I am sure i will be back again!"
