"The villa is perfect if you want a get away from it all.
It is set in a tiny village so there are no shops, restaurants or bars locally you will have to drive for 20 – 30 min into town to find one. On the other hand all the facilities you need to provide for yourself are there at the Villa including a barbeque which we used every day.
The nearest supermarket is in Dobrich about 20min drive, and is easy to find following the directions provided. It is very large and has everything you could want.
The villa is set down from the road and is accessed via steep steps. So for anyone with mobility difficulties this may be a problem. Also there is a spiral staircase to the first floor which may also prove difficult.
Overall we felt the Villa was very good value and we had a wonderful time.

Dobrich is 7km from the village, it normally takes about 10 minutes to get to shops, bars etc. There is hard standing for vehicles at the bottom of the garden if you want to avoid the steps to the top. There is also a small shop in the village.

| "This property was in a beautiful rural location and very peaceful. With unlimited use of the vegetable garden we were freely supplied with tomatoes, cucumbers and watermelons. The villa was very well equipped and comfortable. We made good use of the swimming pool and the outside seating area offered much needed shade."

| "We arrived at the airport and were met by a very nice man from Varna together with the keys he give us some basic instructions on how to operate the alarm system, the directions provided by the owner of how to get to the villa were spot on! On arrival we discovered the welcome pack in the fridge which was most welcome, along with directions on how to find the nearest supermarket. The kitchen was well equiped with everything you could think of. The rooms were clean and tidy, with spare bedding if needed. Lots of towels provided not only for indoor use but by the pool as well. The pool was clean and the pool toys provided were more than adequate for the needs of the party. The gardener came every other day to enusre that the pool was clean and the gardens were tidy, he also provided us with some local information on the area.
It would be helpful if instructions could be provided to help get the hire car to the rear of the property, we had to rely on locals who were very helpful. A hire car is a must."

| "My boyfriend and I have just enjoyed a very relaxing week at the villa. We travelled from Sofia airport (as flights are much cheaper) this is a very long drive, the Bulgarian roads can be challenging and people drive a bit erratic to say the least! We were met at the villa, showed round and tucked in to our welcome pack which was much needed and appreciated. The villa met all expectations, it was clean, modern and well equipped. I would recommend the villa if a relaxing and very quiet holiday is wanted. It is very rural so a car is a necessity to access everything. We spent the week basking in the sun by the pool, drinking beer which is ridiculously cheap and having bbqs, the villa was perfect for that."

| "The villa was wonderful and extremely well equipped and clean.
Some of the family had problems coping with the stairs but they took it carefully.
We had a few difficulties finding the villa as we arrived late at night but, the following day, we got our bearings pretty easily.
It was an extremely relaxing week in a lovely setting. Friendly locals and great to be away from the 'package holiday' environment.
The welcome pack was a lovely addition and meant that we could have something to eat and drink in the morning without having to go shopping first.

| "The villa was very clean and well-equipped. I found that using the laundry facilities meant that I needed to bring less luggage. The views were stunning and tranquil. I enjoyed some day trips to the coast but I liked to return to the lovely pool at the villa. There was plenty of literature on ideas for sight seeing and location of supermarkets. We had a lovely time and would definitelyy recommend the villa to friends."

"The villa was large and well decorated. It was also very well equipped - especially the complimentary home made bottle of plum brandy!! Everything was supplied except a hair dryer.
Problems - only the flies and wasps - we couldn't eat outside without being bombarded with both. This may be due to time of year or the extreme heat. The air-conditioning was a life saver.
Next step - airconditioning upstairs as well please."

| "The Villa exceeded our expectations, and was extremely good value, everybody in the village was extremely friendly although our knowledge of the Bulgarian Language was zero and we were made to feel very welcome. A Car was definetely needed but it was very easy to find and the directions first class. There is also a back entrace to the villa if you have problems with the stairs leading down to the villa which makes it very easy.
We would most definetely recommend this villa and the facilities that it offered. It is well managed and even from the time we arrived at Varna Airport even though it was very late everyone had a smile.
We will most definetely return sometime in the future."

| "We had a fantastic time staying in this villa and were thoroughly satisified The location was ideal, very rural, peaceful and the village location typically full of Bulgarian charm. It is also perfectly placed for reaching the nearby town of Dobrich and a leisurely drive to the coastal resorts of Balchik and Albena. Just a 45 minute drive away and you can explore Varna with its many shops and the airport.
The villa itself absolutely perfect for a relaxed holiday in north eastern Bulgaria and is fully equipped to make your stay enjoyable. There is a spacious and airy feel with an open plan layout downstairs and little extra finishing touches such as a small grocery welcoming pack and lots of DVDs along with satellite TV. Although the pool was not in use during our stay in March it looked really inviting and there is also a BBQ, sun loungers etc. for your use The outside area is lovely with lots of room for relaxing. Really great all round and would definitely recommend!"

| "The villa was very good for a peaceful relaxing holiday with everything supplied that you needed.
Being met by a very helpful friendly person (Kate) set our holiday off on a great start.
The 45 minute drive to the beach made having a hire car essential although the roads are easier to drive on than those in Spain.
Property may benifit from an outside toilet since when using the pool the children had to go upstairs in the villa itself.
The use of the garden allotment was great with very tasty tomatoes etc."

| "A very well equipped and clean villa. Our children all enjoyed the pool, and it was a friendly and relaxing setting. There are some lovely unspoilt beaches around too such as Roussalka and the White Lagoon near Touzlata where the Bulgarians go, not the package holiday hordes. The welcome pack was very much appreciated, since it tided us over the first evening and morning when we found (eventually!) a small but well stocked supermarket in Balchik."

| " The villa has everything you need for a relaxing and peaceful break. Lovely produce from the well maintained garden, looked after by Peta. Lovely local people in the village, who made us feel very welcome. The nearest town of Dobrich is about 10 mins drive from the villa with excellent restaurants and shops. The scenery around the whole area is lovely. We would rent this villa again due to standards and location."

| " When we arrived at Varna airport we were met by a lovely lady who had my name on a board so we saw her straight away, she gave us the keys and explained a few things about the passports and other details we needed to know, when we collected our car we drove straight to the villa with the directions given to us they were very clear and it wouldn't be possible to go wrong! On arrival there was a welcome pack that was greatly appreciated we were able to have a cup of tea before setting off for the shops! As we were aware we had to drive to the local shop which wasn't a problem the people are very friendly and everything is really cheap! The neighbours are very friendly and we always felt very safe even though you are in a small village where no one speaks English. We went to Albena a resort I definitely recommend for anyone with children and Adrian also gave us great directions to the big supermarket in Varna where you can get everything. It was excellent value for money everything you need is in the villa, the pool is a safe depth and if it is a relaxing break you are looking for I would definitely recommend it. "

| "We were met at the airport by the property manager who spoke excellent English and then we were taken directly to the villa. This was a good help because it was dark and the village is not easy to find until we were familiar with the surroundings. The villa is spacious and clean and very well equipped for a self - catering holiday. The only downside to the basic layout of the villa is that there is no downstairs toilet or shower. This only becomes a problem when children are in the pool one minute and legging it up the stairs another! Outside, the pool is clean also with an excellent area for sunbathing, BBQ'ing and relaxing. The village is tranquil, the locals friendly and very welcoming. Overall, as long as you have a car to get around the villa is an ideal alternative to the busy resorts but not too far out of touch with them. All we need now are cheap flights!!"
