| "Het huisje is heel goed gelegen om de Loirestreek te verkennen.
Veel folders aanwezig met tips voor uitstappen
Privacy en rust en toch in het centrum van het stadje en dicht bij de winkels.
Parkeerplaats dicht bij het huisje.
Heerlijk geslapen zonder rugpijn ( goede matras)
Wij hebben een hele prettige vakantie gehad.

| "The property is an ideal base for exploring the Loire valley round Saumur. The property with its enclosed courtyard is very private and an idela location for eating/bbq. The cottage is well appointed and has a well equiped kitchen. The village itself is great as well with plenty of places to eat and a bike hire shop and even an english tea room (across the road). The village also has wine cave at the bottom of the hill although be prepared to only do wine tasting/describing in french here (phew hard work and builds a thirst). Saumur is only a short drive away and is a great town with plenty places to eat and lots of shops and wine places. Also the home of the cadre noir which is well worth a visit. All in all a great place to stay and a great property to stay in full marks."

| "Pas de Mimi was in a lovely little village with all the basic essentials. The restaurants were nice but some were closed as it was October. The neighbours were very friendly and willing to help with any questions we had. The gite was warm,comfortable and had a lovely feel about it. We would certainly recommend it to any couple for a very relaxing holiday with lots of lovely places to explore nearby. They had amassed a comprehensive file of things to do which was very useful."

| "The gite is very well situated in the picturesque village of Fontevraud l'Abbaye. There are 4 restaurants within easy walking distance, all of excellent quality (especially La Licorne!), as well as a bakery, charcuterie, bar, creperie and a local shop. The location is excellent with Saumur and Chinon both well worth a visit. There are plenty of chateaux and vineyards within easy reach. For the more adventurous there is a bike hire shop opposite the gite, and a brilliant local network of cycle paths.
The gite itself has been tastefully decorated, and contains everything you will need for a comfortable stay, including towels! The enclosed courtyard is one of the gite's major highlights as it is completely secluded and not overlooked.
Overall, this is a fantastic gite and we are looking forward to returning!"

| "Great for a couple. An easy journey from Calais on excellent roads. A well-equipped gite - the only thing I missed having was a microwave oven as we often bought deliciously prepared dishes from the traiteur and it would have been easier to heat them up in a microwave. Other than that - absolutely everything you could need for a holiday, great shower, great towels, DVD player (take a few DVDs with you in case of bad weather although there are a few there) Fontevraud itself is a lovely town with all you need to make your stay a success."

| "Well situated in heart of Fontevraud but beautifully quiet, wake up to the smells wafting in from the bakery round the corner and birdsong. Totally private enclosed gravelled courtyard garden with chairs and table.
Good kitchen facilites and excellent powerful shower.
Best suited to a couple as second bed is a futon downstairs in sitting room. Spacious bedroom but the bed is only a small double bed.
This is an excellent choice for late Spring and summer when you can eat in the courtyard and have all windows open.

"What adelight it was finding this hidden cottage tucked away on the sleepy main road of Fontevraud...it wasnt long before we'd opened a bottle of the local wine and sat listening to distant French voices and all the noises of the village drifting over the walls as the sun set.The cottage is really charming inside and feels French as soon as you walk in but it was still clean and modern enough for our tastes.The local area is lovely too and not packed with English tourists like some of the places we travelled on to. It also has some of the best wines in France and we'll be heading back to Pas de Mimi to stock up for our wedding this summer."
