| "Property was clean and well maintained, in a fairly good neighborhood.
Sewage smells were common but this occurs all over Quepos.
Would recommend but include info about noise levels in the town - roosters crowing, dogs barking etc.
Felt ripped off by Villarentals.com as what was thought to be a refundable deposit turned out in the fine print to be one paid to them, not the owner, and was deemed by Villarentals to be theirs."

| "Pros - The property was clean and well maintained. It is about a ten minute walk from the downtown area of Quepos. Casa Verdugo has a lot of rooms and enough beds to sleep six. Allows you to experience a little bit on how the locals in Quepos live.
Cons - Had some difficulty trying to get a taxi to come to the Casa. Some early morning noise (rooster crowing, car noise and dogs barking). Wouldnt recommend walking home alone late at night by yourself, take a taxi."

| "The property was located within walking distance to downtown and close to grocery stores. The caretaker was excellent; however, we did have a bit of language barrier but sign language and gestures got us through it all with some laughter and humor."

| "As others have pointed out, the location is not ideal (though it is convenient in the sense that it is a ten minute walk to the town center, and a fiften minute drive to the beautiful Manuel Antonio beaches and trails). The "quiet cul de sac" is not in the best of areas, and throughout the night there are the sounds of dogs fighting and barking, and of cockerels crowing long before dawn.
If the negatives are acceptable, it is certainly good value, and can be recommended."

| "Casa Verdugo was like home to me. The property was clean and convenient to all areas I chose to visit without being right in the center of tourism rush. I felt safe and welcome and Casa Verdugo will be my choice of residents for all future visits. The manager and surrounding neighbors were incrediable, friendly and so helpful. I felt as if I was at home. This was my first visit to CR and all that I experienced has left a lasting impression that I will cherish. Thank you Melvyn, Leo and all who worked so deligently to make my stay so perfect."

| "We met several people in Quapos and Manual Antonio who were unaware of the rentals in Quapos and we were pleased to recommend the house. We were very impressed with how clean the house was. Melvin, the manager, was most helpful. The rain was horrific, but we had enough space for the four of us to still enjoy our stay. An excellent value for the money."
