Excellent location!! Nice and clean upon arrival, good layout of kitchen/living area. Traditional Dutch style with modern comforts. DVD player, stereo/radio, microwave, oven, coffee machine, fridge, dishwasher, laundry machines all working fine. The kitchen tap did leak across the counter every day though...
The flat was advertised as having two double bedrooms with double beds. As a group of two couples, this was very important to us. Photos on the web show two double beds. There is only one, with two singles in the other room. The advert also mentions the bathroom and toilet being separate, and they are...the only bathroom being en-suite to the larger room (which has the single beds) and the toilet is in a room of its own out in the hall. Thankfully.
We were looking forward to having an internet connection as this would mean keeping touch with family and friends easily and being able to catch up on some loose ends for work. On the first day we were told that it was working but the modem had to be reset. On the second day we were told it would be working by the next day, and on the third day we gave up asking about it.
the flat was lovely apart from the above! for a couple with children perhaps it would be a better fit. Personally, I dont think I would stay there again unless it was just me and maybe one other person.

My friend, her two daughters and I booked this apartment in Amsterdam recently and were really impressed with the quality and cleanliness. Situated in the Jordaan, the street is quiet and residential - and still within easy walking distance of the nightlife, station and tourist attractions such as Anne Frank House. At the end of the street is a wonderful market on Saturdays and local shops. Arranged via the internet directly with Sebastian - who was very professional and met by Claudia who was helpful and welcoming. The apartment is a second floor duplex and there are two separate websites showing pictures - and they don't really do it justice. The first floor is bright, airy, and you can sit on the balconies in the open plan kitchen/dining/living room and in the master bedroom ƒ good size single beds) which look out onto back gardens/courtyards and another bedroom with a double bed (there is also a blow up mattress (deluxe type) as a spare. The kitchen is well equipped and it is decorated with quality fittings including comfortable beds, TV's (one in the master bedroom, DVD and CD player etc. They even installed a washing machine and tumble dryer for convenience (very useful we found on the day it rained!!!). It also has a bath and separate good size shower cubicle. Price wise, I think most people will find it very competitive - particularly if you are comparing to 3*+ hotels - and also with other apartments on offer - and I did a lot of scouting around prior to booking! We would without a doubt go back.

"Very good apartment in a wonderful location pretty quiet while a few minutes walk from interesting shops and many international cafés. Gratchenfest in August recommended - loads of free concerts. Monday cloth market and Saturday organic market excellent, particularly around the Noorderkirk (church). Book for Anne Frank on internet or at VVV to save time.""

| "This is a lovely appartment in a quite part of Amsterdam. We found it to be clean and tidy upon arrival, in excellent decorative order and contained all the facilities you would require for a long term lease let a lone short term rent, including washing machine and dish washer. There are two spacious bedroom which would easily accomodate two couples.
Althought the appartment is off the tourist route slightly, all the main attractions are in walking distance. The appartment itself is located in a quiet road with a supermarket just round the corner.
We were met promptly o our arrival to receive the keys and our deposit was promptly returned week after our departure.
All together the appartment is lovely, the booking process simply and we received our full deposit back promptly (obviously there was no reason why we should not have had our deposit retuned but you know what it can be like, any excuse!).
I would definately recommend this appartment in Amsterdam."

| "This property is a terrific value altogether. The space itself is great...we cooked a few nice meals, did a couple of loads of wash and spent the rest of the time out and about. When we turned in for the night there was t.v. to watch and internet access for our us to email. The location is perfect, at least we felt that way. We walked everywhere, it was in close proximty to all the sights, great restaurants and a fabulous farmer's market on saturdays. All in all for the price (four of us splitting it) we couldn't have asked for more. Next time we arrive in Amsterdam we are headed straight for the flat!"

| "Comfortable, newly refurbished apartment, central to all amenities and situated on a nice quiet street. Only 2 minutes walk from the supermarket and weekend market. It was perfect for us (2 couples), and I would definitely book this apartment again if I go back to Amsterdam. We really enjoyed our stay there."

| "Very good location, 15 minute walk from Dam Square but plent of bars and restaurants, plus weekly market, within 2 minutes. Nice refurbished apartment cheaper than many others we had seen. The toilet and en suite are separate which was a minor issue as this really means it is more like a one bathroom apartment but it was not a big deal for a 4 night stay. Meet and greet worked well and we were grateful for being able to leave our cases for late collection."

| "This is a lovely apartment for four people. It is very well equipped, spacious and modern. There are steep stairs to climb, which are typical of properties in this area, so if you have difficulties climbing I would not recommend it - equally if you have young toddlers, I think the stairs would cause anxiety. It is in a fantastic area of Amsterdam - there are lots of trendy bars in close proximity, many places to eat and 'one off' quirky shops. It is well situated for all the major attractions. The area is very quiet at night in spite of the bars etc being only a couple of streets away."
