"The villa was really nice with everything you could have needed while staying there. My children loved the pool, my 4 year old learnt to swim they were in that much! there was no need to take any lilos, bucket and spades and floated as there was a large box outside full of all the things you could need had a great time a big thank you...."

"We stayed in early June with our 3 month baby. The rental manager was very helpful and provided us with good cot and offered a plastic bath for the baby as there is just a shower. The villa is a good size and it would comfortably sleep 2 couples. The bathroom is also a good size. There is building work going on, but it didnt really bother us, the weather was not great so we did not use the pool as it was a bit chilly. The villa is in a very large resort, some of which is a bit naff, but the villa is in the nicest residential bit away from the crowds so you could really never know it was there. The nearest town is very nice with good seafood restaurants etc. There was a good restaurant just a few mins walk walk, Would recommend having a hire car. The only complaint which they said they would rectify, is that they have spent the minimum on one awful pillow each and bad quality linen, the beds were also not very comfortable, but we survied."

"We have just arrived home following a lovely holiday at Casa Mandia. THe children es[pecially loved the pool and we had difficulty getting them out of it. WE like the fact that the two beaches are in waliking distance and it made for a very relaxing stay. The villa was clean and comfortable and was in a quiet residential area. We would definetly recommend it to our friends. The front door did stick and was therefore difficult to open. So we took to using the side entrance. Also the fridge was not working we alerted the owner and is looking into this. This did not stop us enjoying our holiday. The owner was very helpful and suggested places to visit in the area. Overall we had an excellent stay and would recomend this villa to anyone."

"Thumbing through the web pages looking for a villa, this villa didnt leap out based on the photos and description, but after a bit of detective work I realised that another villa that seemed far more appealling was actually part of the same row of villas that all looked identical. Since Casa Mandia was significantly cheaper I booked it and kept my fingers crossed. I wasnt disappointed since this is a very nice villa. It is spacious, bright, comfortable, well equipped and cool (thanks to the air-con). It is actually much nicer than the photos would suggest. It is located about a 2 minute walk from the centre of Cala Mandia which is about 5 minutes drive South of Port Cristo. It is a 10 minute (max) walk to either of the 2 cove beaches. Cala Mandia is a quiet village dominated by the Insotel Hotel at the centre that provides some people watching. Porto Cristo is also a nice town and not spoilt by mass tourism. The villa is in a good location for exlporing the isalnd. It is a 1 hr drive to Palma (West) or Polencia (North) or a 30 minute drive to Cala DOr to the South. The swimming pool is great. It is 2m deep throughout which is much better than a shallow pool .... so long as you can swim. There are a good range of toys for the children to use in the water. It was good being on the end of the row of villas as this gave even more space and privacy. Areas for improvement would be a better provision of sun loungers a key reason for a private villa is not having to fight for a communal sun lounger, but there was only one at Casa Mandia. We took to lifting the settee outside under the balcony which actually was a better option! The other area for improvement was the water pressure upstairs. I know we were in Majorca and not the UK, but it was a shame always to have a tank full of hot water but not 15 minutes to wait for it to trickle to the upstairs taps. The washing machine worked well, but it was tricky to undo the door as the catch had broken. All-in-all we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend the villa and the owner whose communications were always efficient and courteous."

"Beautiful private property. Very clean. Two beautiful small beaches. The area was a bit too quiet for children but plenty to see in surrounding areas. Please note that the pool does not have a shallow end, but apart from that we had a really lovely time there."

"The villa was well-maintained and spacious and the air conditioning was a big plus. It was also well equiped. The pool was excellent and the owner looked after us very well and was very helpful. It was in a quiet area but close to shops etc. There was some building work going on around but it stopped after a couple of days. The pillows were hopeless and needed more than one each!"

"lovely property in quiet residential area but enough amenities around within walking distance. Great pool and the villa was spotless. Only problem that I found was their was no sun loungers around pool area other than this had a fab holiday and would go back again."

Owner reply: :
Dear Client,
thank you for taking the time to write a review.
We apologise most sincerely for the absence of sun loungers. This year we had 2 expensive good quality loungers disappear before the season started, and 3 new mid quality loungers damaged during stays.
It was decided to improve security further by building a new wall after the season had finished, and investing once again in new good quality loungers for next year. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
Regards A&T Sardar

"We really liked the villa, its as it looks nice bright and airy. Both bedrooms have French doors leading out to balconys but still safe for the children. The pool is fabulous, just, like getting into a bath!"
