| "This was a beautiful house and extremely spacious, much bigger than we had expected. Lots of room for the children to play and the garden was wonderful. The swimming pool was lovely and in the sun all day.
The owners, who are on site, were helpful and friendly but not intrusive. A wonderful time and would love to return."

| "We thouroghly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful part of france. The property was wonderful with everything we required and Doug and Sandra were extremely kind and helpful.
There is so much to do in the area, the wonderful beaches, lakes and pretty towns and villages. A trip to puy de fou for the cinicenie in the evening is a must. We hope to return again."

"This was the second year we spent at this property and once again we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
It was like being at home and the hosts Doug and Sandra could not do enough to make us feel comfortable. They were always at hand when needed but never intrusive. And they were very nice to our four children and always had time to talk to them.
A big thankyou to them for giving us such a wonderful holiday."

| "Last summer was our second time in this property. As previously, the cottage was pristine and welcoming. It is a large, bright and airy property with all the comforts. The kitchen has all the equipment you require and the sitting area is particularly comfortable. The upstairs comprises three large, bright bedrooms and a very large, and spotlessly clean bathroom. The private swimming pool is especially gratifying, especially for children.
The owners, who live nearby, are unobtrusive, but very helpful and informative if required.
I would highly recommend the cottage and I hope to return again myself in Summer 2008."

| "The property & location were better than expected and both Doug & Sandra were wonderful hosts. The garden & swimming pool were outstanding & kept very clean. The cottage itself was beautiful, clean & tidy, with all you could need for a relaxing enjoyable holiday. We would have no hesitation in booking again if we decided to return to the Vendee, a decision made all the easier by our fantastic hosts. They give advice when required, are very friendly, but stay in the background for the majority of your stay. Many thanks to them both again for a wonderful holiday."

"The property itself and the surroundings were outstanding. Doud and Sandra the perfect hosts and nothing was to much trouble. The house itself was really safe for those with young families as we have 3 children under 5. The house was beautifully presented with everything you could think of to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. The pool was just as described and the garden was superb. Thanks again to Doug and Sandra. We would recommend this holiday to anyone."

"Couldn't fault it all - If I had to it would be that the floors downstairs are hard concrete with only a small rug/carpet covering part of it - With us bringing 2 toddlers aged 1.5 and 2 we were on constant watchout making sure that they didn't fall hard on the concrete. My boy did and grazed his head but this is no fault of the owner as they were very decent and pleasent/helpful and assume that not many toddlers come on holiday here. Due to weather not been brilliant we get much use of the brilliant outside swimming pool but the large garden was used and places to eat and see were within a hours drive of the cottage and the hypermarket was only 10 minutes drive away - We would come again here but we can't as the owner is selling it (We nver did find out how much he wanted for it!) - Overall brilliant and well recommended"

Thank you for your excellent review but I must point out that the floors are solid ceramic tiles not concrete as in most French properties no carpets are fitted only small mats placed on the floor and yes we do have many small children staying in our cottage.
The cottage will be available next year for rental from ourselves.

| "The property was very well equiped for our stay and especially child friendly. With swings, the pool and a sandpit in the garden the children were very happy. It was very clean and the owners, whilst keeping in the background were always willing to help. It comfortably slept six and with all its facilities was like home from home. We have no hesitation in reccommending this property at all. Many thanks Doug and Sandra!"

| "This property is exactly as described, no dissapointments at all. The house is realy well equiped with everything you could possibly need. All very clean and tidy with quality furniture & fittings. Spacious rooms on both floors. The garden and pool area are better than they look on the website. We took 2 young children and could let them play in the enclosed garden with no worries. Set in quiet countryside with charming local village which has a bakery, small shop, bar, resaurant and places of historical interest. The village is about 10 minutes walk. The owners are close by and are really helpfull. Passed us the keys and left us to it for the week unless we asked them for something. Nothing was too much trouble. Will definately return."

| "We stayed at three properties during our two week house hunting trip and this was by far the best in the same price bracket.The only small complaint was that it was a little cold in the house in the evenings despite the log fire,but it was October and rained most of the time.The other Gite we booked we left after two days as it was so dirty and unkempt but not booked with Villarenters I hasten to add."

| "The cottage has been recently refurbished and is in excellent condition. The attention to detail was impressive, with all equipment and utensils provided, even down to including a pizza slicer!
The garden is large with a safe and secure raised pool at the bottom making it, along with the sandpit and swing, very child friendly.
The owners live in the adjacent cottage and were friendly but not intrusive. As they were on site, all problems were dealt with straight away.
The property is located in a quiet and pretty location , but with good shopping facilities nearby.
Overall, the property more than exceeded our expectations and we would definitly recommend to friends. Descriptions were accurate and it certainly represented excellent value for money."

| "We were very impressed with the cottage. It was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The facilities were second to none and the swimming pool was an added bonus, especially for the kids. Our hosts were on hand if required and added to the enjoyment of the holiday. All in all it is a very impressive property and I would highly recommend it."
