| "The setting was fantastic. Make sure you go when the weather is good as there is not much else to do on the island apart from snorkelling and relaxing in the sun!
Enjoy the pizza oven!
The accommodation itself is not top of the range but the location made up for it."

| "A beautiful house, with excellent views of the sea, located outside the village of la Maddalena. You can feel the attention and love of the owner in the way its decorated. Small steps lead you to the little private rocky beach, perfect for a swim. Bake your own pizza in the outside stone oven, discover all the little paradise beaches of the island and take a boattour with the Maddalena IV. We had a fantastic week with our baby and two toddlers, we will return asap."

| "The cottage is full of charm and character, clean and with everything needed. The snorkelling off the bottom terrace was wonderful and there were no strong currents so it was ideal for my 6 year old. The outdoor dining area was shaded and cool and we use the lovely built in outdoor BBQ - some fuel was provided.
It will be useful to note that you need to buy bottled water a they do not advise drinking the tap water there (though we boiled water for coffee with no ill effects) The nearest and cheapest supermarket we could find was on the road turning off to the island of Caprera - 5 minutes away and we recommend shoping there. This is also where to dump the rubbish in the bins provided by the side of the road.
We found some lovely, almost deserted beaches on Caprera. La Maddelenna was a lovely town to browse round.
The roads around La Madellena and from the airport to Palau where you catch the ferry over are bendy and quite narrow which is worth preparing yourself for. The journey takes about 1 hour to Palau, and the ferry about 20 minutes. We paid 23 euros for 3 adults and the car. The villa the other side is 10 minutes away and we sound found our way around without any problems. The island of La Maddelenna is very small and can be driven around in an hour or so. Not a great deal of English is spoken there so being able to speak a few words of Italian is helpful. We found residents there very patient, friendly and helpful and the whole holiday there was one of the most chilled out, relaxing times I have had for many years.
Lovely."

| "Beautiful place and lovely house, the private beach is indeed a little dream, as well as the view over the Archipel and towards the peninsula and the Island of Caprera. There is enough dishes (although not even one wineglass, strange enough for Italy!), blankets, sheets, chairs, beach chairs, BBQ-space, lots of lovely cats areound the house, nice garden, etc. The vacation village is nice and quiet, the town close and has excellent restaurants. The weather in middle October was just great, very warm but not too hot, the sea still very good but refreshing, empty beautiful beaches on the Island.
The bad points are: only one shower, this would not be enough for 6 (we were 4 and sometimes out of hot water), TV in living room is not working well (only 2 channels with image) and really unconvenient was that the dishes were all so dirty we first had to clean them all twice!"

| "The location of the property was excellent and the views are stunning.
The villa itself is in need of a bit of TLC but the facilities and equipment are excellent if you are self catering. Great BBQ in the garden.
The 2nd downstairs bedroom would benefit from air conditioning, as it became very hot at night. We were there for 2 weeks in july.
We had a lovely restful holiday and enjoyed every minute. The swimming and the snorkling from the rocks was excellent, but take some wet suit shoes with you."

| "The property stood up to its description on your website, but it could benefit more if a more integral description of the facilities, the arrival instructions at the villa location and the size of the private beach.
Overall, it provides enough privacy, quiet environment (to the point that at night we could hear our own hearts beat..!!) and refreshing beautifull background that it definitely delivers the value for its cost.
Would definitely reccomend it to friends.

"for the time of year it meant we spent more time in the house than during summer. Beautiful location.Could have been told in the instructions that it was on an island (not knowing the area had not occurred to us that we had to catch a ferry!). The parking was difficult for 6days due to pile of rubble in driveway.A badly leaking tap was a concern and I left a message on the emergency mobile number.Only one bed was properly made upand the cleanliness in kitchen( e.g. a very dishcloth) was not good. The cleaners arrived very promptly at 10 am and started cleaning even though the instructions clearly said 11 am. BUT we enjoyed ourselves and saw a (large ) octopus at the jetty at bottom of the garden."
Owner reply:
:
Sorry for the parking inconvenient, in low season it could happen someone make refurbishing works in other property assuming there are very few people. I apologize for the beds and for the timing. Few times housekeeping is not perfect. I surely take care for the future about instructions. By the way there is a map attached to it. An average review once could be fair. I hope you will come next time in summer or spring, you will enjoy more.

| "More than anything else the view from the terrace and the location made this the most realaxing and enjoyable holiday.
From the moment we arrived at the property we knew we had come to the perfect place. The owner was contactable and really helpful when enquiring about excellent places to eat.
This island has small but wonderful beaches and the water is the most amazing Emerald Green.
I loved every minute of every day and if it is a quiet, relaxing holiday you are after, where you can get away from it all this is the place for you.

| " This was a comfortable and very well equipped family property. Whilst accurate, the property would not be well suited to more than four adults with its small kitchen and only one shower room. However, the proximity to the sea (down the garden path) and the main town, the excellent BBQ and the outdoors space more than made up for the short fallings. We were on honeymoon as a couple and were very happy with the property, but it is ideally suited to a family or a group of four adults. "

| "The villa is located in a very pretty residential area, right on the sea. The house is well equipped (although the kitchen is a little small for big meals), and there is a lovely barbecue area for cooking outside. There are a choice of 3 patios for sunbathing, eating or drinks in the evening. The views from the villa are outstanding and the bay is a beautiful, sheltered place to swim. We really enjoyed our holiday there and would certainly recommend it."

| "We stayed at the villa first week of november. Firstly we would like to say how helpful the owner was as we were booked in for september but had to change the dates due to a family reason and we spoke on telephone and e-mail and sorted the new dates out very efficiently with no problems at all. The villa itself was set in a beautiful location near the sea with georgous views. The private beach was adequate enough for 2 large sunbeds with room to both sides and the front. The kitchen was well equipped with utensils, pans etc. Just remember if you are arriving late to take some bottled water with you!
Also a torch if it is dark as there a few steps down to approach the front door of the villa. We were greeted the first night by a small black kitten and when we awoke the next day and opened the doors to front terrace he had about 9 or 10 cat friends they will go off so do not be alarmed as we are cat lovers we didnt mind and they were well behaved! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend anyone to visit. Thankyou."

| "We were thrilled with the villa and it's sea side location on our arrival. I do not believe that the photographs on the site do justice to the property and it's location. Unfortunately we chose a time of year (late Nov) when the weather is traditionally bad - wind and rain. We were very well catered for and would be happy to visit again during the summer months."

| "We really enjoyed a peaceful week in this unusual villa with magnificent views. It was very comfortable, even in November. Great cooking facilities and quiet sitting out areas and comfy beds. La Maddellena was lovely and the beaches were beautiful and empty and I did swim and it was warm enough! We actually liked the cat family that visited and they really liked us. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a cosy retreat."

| "Situated in a small village only 10 minutes drive from the main town of La Maddelena, this villa has the most stunning sea views. The terrace to the rear affords privacy, whilst not obscuring the scenery.
There are three bedrooms and enough beds to sleep 6 comfortably, whilst there are is a sofa bed in the living area.
The kitchen is basic but practicle and the shower facility in the bathroom is small but delivers plenty hot water and is reasonably powerful (for those who care about that sort of thing).
All in all a tidy, nicely located place to stay."

"A quaint and comfortable semi-detached villa with great views from the terrace and upstairs bedroom. The property is basically furnished but well equipped. However the 'private beach' was a dissapointment as it consisted of a small concrete slab adjacent to, and overlooked on both sides by neighbouring properties. Note for MyVillarenters (The villa was hard to find as the street number was not given in location details and a photo on the your internet site has been reversed leading us to the next door property.)"
Owner reply:
:
I'm really sorry for the inconvenient that I followed personally assisting by phone. In any case customers are receiving instruction with street name and number when they confirm the booking. On the web site there is a picture showing exactly how the privete beach is. The photo of the villa front has been now uploded correctly.
Villarenters comment:
It's the member that enters all the arrival information and uploads the photos, suggest they check
