"We had an excellent time, nice and relaxing with fantastic views over the loch. The Lodge was great and homely. The weather let us down, the wettest weekend possible but we still had a great time. Thank you Mr G Grant"

"Absolutely brilliant!!! Cant recommend highly enough, beautiful lodge and with a spectacular view definately the best lodge on the site. Owner has it very well equipped and if you dont feel like cooking a visit to the Boathouse is a must for fantastic food in fantastic setting. Definately coming back - waiting on next years dates being released to book. Why would anyone go abroad when we have this on our doorstep. Thank you for a brilliant holiday"

"Location, facilities and price were absolutely fantastic. Works well for two couples, and would be great for families. Loch Tay was literally only 50 metres away, and when the snow fell it was so gorgeous - and the legend of a warden towed us out when it was time to go and our rental car couldnt deal with the snow on the drive. Thanks heaps for a great few days. Well remember it fondly."

"We thought it was truly great - the only comment we had was that we would have liked the restaurant to have served breakfast! "

"Beautiful location and probably the best view on the site :) plumbing was iffy as we had to call the plumber out once and was very noisy sometimes. Great value for money and close to lovely walks and shops, definately recommend it and will be back sometime."

"The property was alrught but the access road is terrible - full of potholes and not very good for the car. Also felt let down that I was not advised that the restaurant would not be open at the time of my stay or any of the amenities."

"we loved our holiday!! the lodge was beautiful inside and out with fantastic views over the loch and ben lawers. our children loved feeding the ducks and birds outside every morning. when we arrived it was just as described if not better and very helpful that we could pick up our key even though we arrived later than expected. everything was great with the lodge just took us a while how to figure out how to get enough hot water for baths maybe instructions would have been helpful but we had everything we needed and the lodge was clean and homely.the lodge was great value for money and i would love to come back and have already recommended it to many friends and family.we found lots to do during the day even with 2 young children and loved relaxing with a glass of wine on the veranda on an evening what more could you ask for it was beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Accomodation was fantastic, views were out of this world. If you need a break then this is the place to go.Restaurant was excellent value for money and food was brilliant, only problem was we were not told beforehand that you had to book, hence,on our first night we had to find somewhere to eat.Staff were very friendly,as were all the Scottish people we met. Will definitely be back."

"The location was excellent with good views. The lodge was perfectly adequate and the site was good. The lodge itself could have done with a bit of a clean as there were cobwebs. We were disappointed that the sky wasn't working and also that there were problems with the fridge. Overall we would recommend this property to friends and family and would stay here again as the things mentioned did not put us off our stay. This is a perfect location for the various places we wanted to visit and a good base for us with stunning scenery all around."

"We had a really enjoyable holiday but were disappointed to learn on arrival that all outdoor activities (eg, horseriding) were not operational. Also, the Boathouse restaurant was closed for the first two days of our four day stay! I really feel that this should have been advised at point of booking. We found the accommadation to be basic and it could do with a better clean around the wood and in bathroom - bathroom window did not open! However, the loch side setting was very tranquil and what we were needing. That is why I would return and recommend."

"We thought the property was very comfortable, extremely cosy (we had to turn off the heating!) and very well kitted out - it had everything we needed for a self catering holiday. If we had to comment negatively the bath mat was very slippy in the bath and my elderly mother did not feel stable when using it and the Sky tv didn't work however this did not spoil our break away. We would definately book again and recommend to our friends. We had such a peaceful and relaxing break. Many thanks, The Jack Party"

"Property was excellent, warm and cosey with a fantastic, enviable snowcapped mountain view across the Loch! It was extremely clean and well laid out and the owners had thought of everything needed for a great stay including a bottle opener, which is the one thing everyone forgets! We were however disappointed with the site itself having been told the stables would be open only to find out on arrival that not only were they not open they were selling the horses! We did however find good stables in nearby village and have written contact details for them in the guest book - highly reccomend you use them instead. Also the restaurant was closed as owners on holiday, which we had been informed of beforehand it was just a shame. The area is extremely remote but very beautiful - As long as you do not want to be kept busy (apart from walking) this a fantastic place to go."

"Excellent lodge. best one on the site for views and situation. Everything you need if you are going to cook, but the resturant on the site is fantastic. Run by a lovely couple and the food was out of this world and who wants to cook on holiday anyway! Only fault we could find was the beds are very hard, perhaps this could be looked at. All together, a lovely place and one we would deffinately return to."

"10 days of peace, perfect. In Killin Pound shop they sell bird food (seeds & fat), we had up to 50/60 birds at one time feeding here. The ducks come by on their way through, we had 6 regulars every morning. As I am writing this we had 10 ducks appear!
