| "Good Points:
1. Reacted fairly fast in fixing problems
2. Offered free massages for all in party to apologize for the many inconveniences on day 1
3. Pool was always clean throughout the week
4. View is stunning
5. Good suggestions on tours, restaurants, etc
Problems:
Experienced a number of problems most of these on day 1 which was a big disappointment to the start of our holiday.
1. Light fitting in lounge roof was dangling on wires
2. Curtains in all rooms were coming off rails.
3. Internet not working and took 2 days to fix
4. No duvet for additional requested bed
5. Kitchen cupboards inside very dirty
6. Shower temp in 1 bathroom either very hot or very cold
7. Grass dead and not cut.
8. Sliding door in bedroom came off hinges when opened.
9. Workers walking onto premises without prior notice from reception and then us not understanding Thai had to call reception to find out what they are doing there. Happened 2X
10. Cleaning staff late every day and very unfriendly/seem unhappy.
11. Aircon in lounge leaked all over chair and floor during the night.
12. Foul smell from drains in both bathrooms
13. Noises from Rats/Birds nesting in roof
14. TV wall plug was still hanging loose from wall when we checked out despite 2 reminders.
15. On check out they wanted to charge us again for Villa until I proved that full payment was made prior to holiday.
All in all not a very happy experience and unless the Villa is upgraded and professionally managed there will be many unhappy customers in the future.
We also rented a "new luxury wing room" in the Hotel and experienced rather shoddy maintenance and what seems like a lack of attention to spot problems.
My view is that with a shake up of management/new management there will be a huge improvement and happier returning customers.

| "The villa is just as described. A private and comfortable space located just far enough away to make it comfortable but not far enough to get you out of the life. The view from the patio is a wonderful way to start every day. The experience is far better than any hotel. Coming in to the villa after a long day of scuba or a long night on Bangala is like coming home. The staff are courteous and accommodating. I will be staying here again and again without fail."

| "I think I will start with the warm welcome we received from the Club Bamboo staff in particular Molly and Dada they exceeded our expectations throughout the stay and really did act as a 5 Star concierge service, they will be dearly missed especially Dada who developed a closer relationship with Dodo (guest).
The property was as described there were no close by developments which disturbed us in the morning, the villa servicing was spot on every time.
Club bamboo office was only a minute away and if you cant be asked they provide you with a mobile which you can use to call them 24/7.
2 big rooms both en suite bath/shower rooms. Private swimming pool. Lovely views.
Met some great people in Phuket and will definitely go back.
Island Hopping is a great 1day activity and you will never forget it.
Across the road from club bamboo (opposite a massage parlor) is a shop with a pool table outside - a amazingly chilled out woman rents out mopeds for £3 a day. you will not have any hassle at all with her
P.S. if you get picked up from the airport try and have Siam to be your driver he is hilarious

| "Because we went in low season, we recieved some perks with the car rental and airport transfer plus breakfast, so yes I would say value for money. However I would have appreciated to have been informed about all the building and sawing going on on the road side to the house, ( which is not pictured in photo's). Being a seasoned traveller I did have my theories on what was on the road side of the property, and was not too put out at the smaller villas that had almost been finished when we arrived. This does take alot of privacy away from this lovely two bedroom house but we thourougly enjoyed our stay and will recommend to others. I would suggest to people who do rent this property to go down the road to have their washing done as it is ten times cheaper to do this way.
