| "property was excellent well situation near to bars and restaurants and also very close to the local supermarket, which was good.
THe pool opposit the apartment was brilliant very clean and well kept.
Over all the holiday was brilliant and the apartment was very clean and tidy and well kept.

| "Stayed at this villa for 16 nights. Most comfortable bed for a rental property. Lovely area. Children had a great time. Made a lot of friends. Aged 13 and 9. Very safe for them. Only problem was that the local residents did not like them playing with a couple of friends at the pool area but that is what makes a holiday for children. Apart from that we had a wonderful holiday. There was no problem with the children playing at their friends communal pools in the area so would not rule out this area for a property. Very accessible to beautiful beaches, horse riding, go karting, crazy golf. All a short drive away. Lovely markets for old and young."

| "The property was lovely, clean and spacious. All the equipment you needed to cook a meal. Pool was lovely just opposite the villa. Neighbours were fairly friendly and the key holder Sheila (i think) was fantastic, very helpful. Definitely would recommend to hire a car as the village is very small and quiet. Overall really enjoyed it."

| "Before we left for Spain we noticed another review had been published reference this villa and it was'nt particularly flattering, this therefore gave us some concern. However on arriving our fears were soon vanquished, this is a lovely well kept villa in a very nice neighbourhood of friendly people. We found the villa well stocked and did not lack anything, the communal pool was very convenient just opposite the villa and a newly open supermarket just around the corner supplies all your needs. We were also looked after very well by the key holder Alison who made sure we did'nt want for anything - she's a real star.The situation of the villa means a brisk 20 - 25 minute walk into Montesinos if you wish a meal and a few drinks which can be a bit tiresome and to get the best of your time at La Herrada you do need a car to give you access to all the wonderful beaches and inland scenery. Weh ad a great time here and would go back at the drop of a hat."

| "This is a very nice property. Living room is a good size, and the bedrooms are reasonable sizes. Everything is well finished. It is easy to get to by road from Alicante airport. The air conditioning is very powerful, but English instructions would be useful.
Some of the other villas are lived in full time, and we found everyone friendly.
The villa is about 15 minutes walk from the village, (5 min drive) but the village is a quiet place with the siesta well respected. There are a couple of small supermarkets (one open 24 hrs), but bigger ones on the drive to Torrevieja, where you can do all your shopping. Torrvieja is easy to find and has a great choice of shops and restuarants etc. The beach side funfair is good for the kids.
There are great views from the rooftop solarium, ideal for enjoying a nightcap, and the shady porch allows outdoor dining, with the pool in easy view.
The pool is nice and although a bit small, was never really busy, but this depends on occupancy of the villas it serves.
If you have a car, this villa is well situated, with Torriveja, supermarkets and shops, Guadamar beach all within easy reach, and further afield, places like Elche not much trouble to get to.
On the way to Torrievja is a group of 3 or 4 Oriental restaurants which offer very reasonable eat all you can buffets."
