| "Villa was great value and had soooo many excellent points. Good space, nice sized pool, friendly staff who were on hand for us, only negatives were that the light switches didnt do much and the table lamps were difficult to put in, but once we overcame these issues, we were away. Loved pool and games room, family area was great for the children to play in, but sofas around tv were uncomfortable and could have done with having some beanbags as not enough room for all. Gorgeous neighbourhood and close to all attractions that we wanted to do. Close to other entertainment and necessaties. Thoroughly will recommend, infact have already told someone who is looking it for next year.

| "We found the house very easily thanks to the excellent picture instructions supplied by the owner.
House was bigger than we had expected with excellent living space split into two areas.
TV /PS2 in lounge was a big hit with the kids.
Free Internet (Wi-Fi & Fixed) was great and having a printer with ink and paper was a nice touch (You can download the print drivers direct from HP Website FOC).
Air Conditioning was a God-Send as we would have suffered without it.
Swimming pool was used a great deal by all of us, but you do need to work at keeping it clean because pools in Florida seem to attract flies etc.
For this purpose, we requested a new pool net to be provided, as the one on site was broken when we arrived. This was supplied the day after our request.
I have read other reviews complaining that things were not working/broken.
It really is simple, all you need to do is make the owner/agent aware of a problem and it will be dealt with. They are not on site and it is no good moaning a week after you return.
All in all, a great holiday home and great valuie for money.

| "The villa was quite spacious, the area quiet (except when my own children could be heard, laughing and carrying on in the pool!) and the location perfect central to everything. The bedrooms were spacious, comfortable, the games room filled with in-home entertainment and there were ample dishes, cooking utensils we needed only to visit the Super Walmart up the road for a few odds and ends.
Bernie was always very quick replying to my many e-mails and questions. I called Melanie from the property managament company on a few occasions with questions and she too was very helpful and so kind. The stroller was a blessing after we forgot it the first day and ended up paying $17 for a rental at the park!
We have visited Orlando on several occasions always in hotels, some on-site and some off-site. I have to say that I will never again stay in a hotel in Orlando. Renting a vacation villa is definitely the way to go. After long days at the theme parks, coming "home" to sit on the sofa or sit outside watching the kids in the pool made it seem like a real vacation. The privacy fence around the pool was a nice touch.
We would definitely stay here again!"

"there are some points that could be overlooked: in all bedrooms there are no ceiling lights. But there are lightswitches for it.. This is weird and not very nice if you arrive in the dark. You need to walk all the way to the bed in the dark to turn on a light there.
Also the dryer does not work properly. It does not dry the laundy so we were forced to hang our wet clothes to dry outside on the pooldeck... Also I would recommend to put in a tv in the extra sitting room. Since the villa is for 10 people. If you are there with 2 families, you only have one large tv in one of the 2 sitting rooms..."

Hi Jaimie,
I have just read your review and am obviously concerned that you had a couple of issues with my villa.
Unfortunately the lighting system in my house is the same as most villas in the area, for some reason the builders did not install overhead lighting??? I am hoping to rectify this when I put in ceiling fans.
I was unaware there was a problem with the dryer...did you contact my manager? usually if it is slow in drying it is either the filters in the dryer need changing or we get maintenance out to clean the outside filter, this gets blocked occasionally.
I was sorry that you did not find any good points about the villa, I try to keep it in excellent condition by upgrading the furniture and installing new equipment each year, we refurbished the kitchen in December, had the pool re-lined and put up a child safety fence around the pool. In the summer we bought a new master bedroom suite, new sofas in the family room and revamped both twin rooms.
I do not advertise a TV in the lounge and as we have 4 Tvs in the villa, I feel this is ample, we like to keep the formal lounge as a room for dining and relaxing with a book or for card games, some people like some quiet space.
I rely on my guests to inform me if appliances are not working properly or if they feel my management is not responding promptly, as I am based in the UK it is my only way of making sure my management is doing their job properly. If my management did not deal with your concerns you could have contacted me, I would have made sure that the dryer was either fixed or replaced immediately so that it did not interfere with your holiday.
Once again I apologise if Villa Betty Boo did not meet your expectations, 99% of my guests are very happy with the facilities and management, but occasionally things go wrong or the management do not deal with problems efficiently in which case I need to know, I just wish I had been aware of this during your stay so I could have sorted it out for you.

| "The villa was much larger than the pictures portrayed. The kitchen looked new and the Betty Boop bedroom & bathroom was a lovely surprise for the girls. The master suit was beautiful and the bed huge!
The pool was great (couldnt keep the kids out!) and the cover kept it warm for our stay. The villa was immaculate with everything you could need during your stay. Hampton Lakes is a very well maintained community and their Christmas lights were the best on that strip. The villa is about 10 - 15 minutes to Disney with some really good restaurants within 10 minutes.
I would definitly recommend this villa."

| "Villa Betty Boo was spacious, well maintained and very clean. The master bedroom was beautiful, I loved the bed linens and the bed was enormous!!!! The new HD TV was well appreciated as was the free wireless internet & free calls to the UK...
The kids loved the pool and the privacy fence worked really well, we couldnt see our neighbours and they could not see in to our pool, I loved the tropical plants and the patio furniture looked brand new!!
Bernie (the owner) was so promt and helpfull during the booking process and gave us some great tips on the parks and the best way to get to them. Her manag"

"The size and locatin of the villa was superb. the pool was great until the latter end of our week when it went cold even though the pump was going virtually all the time. After the pool man had been it was no different. Several things however inside of the villa require updating and attention.
The matress on the bed in the master bedroom requires replacing, hotplates on the cooker did not work.
Whilst we were there the pelmet over the patio door leading to the pool dropped off, only held on with a couple of nails and latts on the blind of the door fell off, on inspection one had been glued back again instead of renewing the fixing."

I am sorry you had some problems during your stay, I understand that my manager was going to come straight round to fix the pelmet & blind but you told her to leave it until you had left. With regards to the other matters, had you contacted her she would have dealt with them immediately. (please see my other reviews to confirm this) The cooker rings are working fine, perhaps they just needed pushing back into place. The pool heat is also fine, did you use the pool blanket?
We are now replacing the mattress as this is the second comment we have had regarding it.
Problems do arise from time to time and we rely on guests to advise us of anything that needs attention so that we can rectify it straight away.

| "This was a beautiful home! It felt like the closest thing to actually being home. It was the Christmas Holidays and my daughter, who arrived earlier by a few days, surprised us by having the outside and inside decorated, even having a small Christmas Tree. We also had the opportunity to spend Christmas with my sister and her husband, something we have not able to do for several years. All in all, it was a wonderful vacation, made even better by this lovely home.

We were looking for an alternative to staying in a hotel when we drove down to return our son to University in Lakeland. The villa was perfect! We had a wonderful few days of togetherness as we got him settled, and played some golf as well! Having our own pool to use whenever we felt like it was terrific! The location was convenient to everythig.

| "We loved the convenience the house offered to our family of 7. Lots of space for everyone. The pool was an added asset as well as the game room. I would suggest adding simple starter supplies (hand/bath soap, dish soap, tp and kleenex, maybe salt/pepper, coffee filters,etc) This would help on first arrival.
Also would have loved some quick directions to the local attractions. I am not sure we took the fastest routes...
All in all, we have a lovely week of great memories!"

| "This was our first time renting a villa, and we were a little apprehensive but now we would not hesitate to do it again. The villa was exactly the same as the pictures on the web site. We really enjoyed staying at the villa, it was very nicely furnished & comfortable. The neighbourhood was quiet and very well maintained. There were more than enough cutlery and crockery for everyone. It was very close to the Disney parks and all the restuarants and attractions of the Highway 192.

Just got back from Florida this morning and wanted to say thanks for letting us stay in your gorgeous villa. The photos on the website don't do it justice as it is really lovely (and so much bigger than we anticipated)! We managed to find it with your directions during a very bad thunderstorm (and very heavy rain) and not too much arguing!
The children loved having their own pool - somehow I don't think their bath tonight will have quite the same effect - heehee!
