"The property is set on a hillside overlooking three bays were the sunsets were spectacular. The cooling breeze was a welcome relief afer a day of sun and swimming (The photos are accurate). The intermittent noise from the hotel below carried up the hillside however, it was nearing the end of the season and tolerable. We had hired a car from the outset as we wanted to tour the area and found that it was very useful for nipping out to the shops or to eat. The town is within walking distance but could be too far for those not used to the heat. On our arrival in Yalikavak, Loes (the manager)met us outside the Mosque as we were unable to find the apartment using the emailed directions. Signposts are rather rare and obscure in Turkey. Loes also gave us an excellent reception on arrival and we also enjoyed the steaks at her resaurant. The apartment was well equiped for us four adults but the Turkish sized bed sheets were a little uncomfortable. The pool and setting made the holiday for us and I would recommend it to others who want somewhere to chill out and have a holiday at their own pace."

"Lovely apartment. Clean, spacious with excellent pool. Kitchen was functional for two of us. We cooked most of our evening meals but kitchen may be a bit small if you have kids. Description of location is accurate! Up a steep hill and a good half hour walk from centre of Yalikavak (bearing in mind slow pace due to heat.) Easy to catch a Dolmus though which is really cheap and quick. Taxi rank also really close. Hotels down the road full of French tourists are a bit noisy at night. They appear to only have one CD for the childrens disco that they play every night. I now know the French Hokey Kokey off by heart! Note: there is no local info provided in the apartment so a little difficult when you first arrive. In town there are lots of cash machines and a couple of mini-supermarkets. Big supermarket out on main road to Bodrum. Can get a taxi there if no hire car. We had an excellent holiday, really relaxed. If you would like a peaceful holiday, away from the package holiday crowd this is the apartment for you."

"Spectacular views from balcony with sun from 1.00. Unfinished building works locally spoil what will eventually be a much sought after holiday destination. Local amenities and people superb- something for everyone. Local representative very helpful, Overall a very relaxing holiday. Will be going back."

"Beautiful views with a lovely apartment and a good size pool. The only downside was the electric supply would trip out when all occupants were taking showers or using electric items at the same time. Loes' husband showed us where the trip switch was so we could get electric back on as quickly as possible. She was very helpful and friendly. There is a very steep walk up to the apartments which would possibly not suit older people although taxis are cheap and regular. Overall a fantastic holiday and would have no hesitation in returning to this property."

Owner reply: :
The problem with the electric supply had been caused by building work near the access road that had cut of the main supply to the apartments and villas in the area, the electric company ran a tempary supply to the properties which was not sufficient for the apartments and resulted in the tripping problem, the main electric supply has since been reconnected and the problem solved.

"A few things to finish on the new property while we were there, but this did not affect a very enjoyable holiday."
