| "Super pool, lots of space, quiet corners to escape the sun and for quiet moments, good bbq. A car is essential, especially for supermarket shopping. Couple of bars and restaurants within 10 minute walk (steep hill up and down tho!). Best restaurant the Rondo, great food and a lovely atmosphere.
Also one called Los Baladrar for a wonderfully authentic paella. More bars/restaurants near the supermarket but you really have to drive to them as the road does not have a pavement for pedestrians.
Moraira town is a ten minute drive, a pretty, low-rise place with a lovely beach. Calpe, 20 minutes south, is like a mini-Benidorm! My advice, stay by the pool and chill!"

| "We really enjoyed the stay at this house. The house is spacy, clean and well functioning, especially the pool and terrasse area is great. We would be very happy to return to this house and Moraira in general. We would definitely recommend this property to everyone, including our best friends.

| "I am afraid our first impressions of the villa were not good ones! The shutters were not open as we were told to expect and this made the villa a little unwelcoming both inside and out. Once we opened the shutters and got some light and air into the property we were again disappointed as the cleanliness of the living room and kitchen were not up to the usual standard we have come to expect from renting villas for some years. The television and fire had lots of sticky fingermarks all over them, the glass dining table was very smeary, and other surfaces were dusty. There was a draining rack in the kitchen which was disgusting and probably still is, as I just put it back in the cupboard.
Outside, there were cigarette ends in an ash tray on the round table and the pool area hadnt been swept for some time.
This is the first property we have rented that we have had to clean when we first arrived just to feel comfortable. However, once this was done, we had a wonderful weeks holiday. The villa had everything we needed which meant we spent most of our time there and enjoyed a very relaxing week."

| "Our party of eight had a great time at this villa. As stated in previous reviews the pool is great, nice and clean and large. You need a car to explore and the villa is in a quiet area and you are not overlooked.
There is always someone you can phone whilst there if you have any problems, overall we had a great holiday in a nice villa!

"This is an average property that is £100-200 over-priced for the level of amenities that it offers. The plus points of this four bedroom property are the large pool area with shaded terrace, the separate terrace at the front of the property and the large lounge area. The minus points are that the overall standard of the finish and furnishings are cheap, the two fridges do not work properly and fail to achieve a temperature of 4 c, there is no dishwasher, the kitchen area is very small, all of the drinking glasses are plastic and the separate double bedroom in the annexe is not en suite. At this price, I would have expected a higher level of finish."
Owner reply:
:
This is the first negative review we have receved in 6 years of trading. I would suggest that this renter left our villa which is designed for rental accomodation, and is furnished with all new furniture and went to visit friends in their personal villa. It is very sad that they cannot differentiate from the two offerings.
They were not promised a dishwasher nor an en- suite to the fourth bedroom and it is unreasonable to critise for something they did not buy. Not only that, we went the extra mile for these renters in making sure that property they had left behind was posted on to them in the UK.
Prior to their visit they were sent information which infornmed them that all glasses were plastic and expalining why this was so.

| "The villa is great, clean and very private. You do need a car to get to the beach, but if you dont need a sandy beach - its a 5 minute walk to the sea.
For shopping and restaurants - you do need a car.
Overall review - excellent"

| "The villa was lovely and in really quiet surroundings. There are a couple of small beaches within walking distance, one of which is only about 5 minutes away and this also has a beach bar. The pool was one of the largest we have had on holiday and together with the large private patio area made it perfect for both adults and children. The villa had everything a family would need and plenty of books, videos and games if the children ever tired of the pool and the table tennis. We would certainly recommend a car as you would need this to get to the larger supermarkets and into Moraira itself. The property mangers were really friendly and helpful and on hand if there were any queries."

| "The Casa de la Flore suited our family perfectly. We knew from previous reviews what to expect and were not disappointed . The villa is well maintained and the local managers are always available if any problems arise . A car is a must because there are so many things to do and see in and around Moraira but if you want a relaxing,
private holiday, this is the place to go . Some people feel that they must add negative points to a review so mine is that I had to leave and come home ."

| "A very nice property!
We have read the information and viewed the pictures prior to our vacation. The property met all of our expectations.
The house, yard and swimming pool are well kept. We had one plumbing issue, but this was fixed the same day!
Also a nice and quiet neighborhood."

| "The owners provided plenty of practical help with directions, reviews of local amenities. They also provided a thoughtful welcome pack. It was also arranged for someone to call in and check that everything was to our satisfaction.
The property was clean, well equipped and incorporated lots of different areas for enjoying either the sunshine or shade, depending on what was required at all times of the day. It was therefore possible to sit and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening - either by the patio in the sun, by the pool in semi-shade or on the verranda on the comfortable shaded sofas.
When we stayed (first week of June), the surrounding area was very peaceful (and you get the feeling that this is normally the case). It was also good that the property for the most part is quite private (the pool area is not overlooked at all).
The interior was comfortable and easy to keep clean and had plenty of references to local restaurants and tourist attractions.
I would endorse the recommendation that to fully enjoy a stay here, a hire car is nearly essential. Moraira is only a 5-10 min drive away and is a nice mixture of traditional village / emerging tourist resort - so no sign of any street sellars of watches etc - just a good range of bars and restaurants.

| "We stayed at the Villa for three weeks in July 2007, seven adults and one child aged 9 years old. The Villa is large and spacious with a great pool and good outside areas for outside eating and keeping ourselves entertained(beware of the "mozzies").A couple of very small grumbles,no mattresses on the sunbeds, hygene was given as the reason, sorry but we thought this was petty( most poeple put towels down on the loungers anyway), we had to buy blow up mattresses to enable us to use the sun loungers, the hammocks we all found uncomfortable and no good for sunbathing.Everyday the pool area needs to be swept due to the pine needles from the overhanging trees, this became my daily chore, not that onerous but the "locked "away blower would have made the job a lot easier.(cleaners informed us)
The Villa is in the area of Baladrar some three-five miles from Moraira, so a car is a must, especially to get up the steep hill. The area is well served by some excellent restauraunts,Rondos,Don Pepitos(great Spanish food) and la Tartana were our favourites, the supermarket Pepe la Sal is close by and is excellent.Access to beaches requires a car there is a really nice small beach close by and makes for a very pleasant late afternoon early evening swim.
So overall this is a good place to stay, nice and quiet but with good access to all the amenities you need for your holiday, we had a great time.

| "The villa is in lovely surroundings but you definately need a car. The pool and pool area is lovely and there are lots of seats and loungers for relaxing in. In doors the villa is basic but clean and the kitchen is fitted out with everything you need. The welcome pack is a nice touch and is well thought out. the double bedroom is large and the bed comfortable. The airconditioning is good. We enjoyed our stay a great deal."

| "Very large and spacious accomodation, It was very clean and very comfortable, with added bonus of air conditioning in the living room and bedrooms and a good size pool that was big enough for a proper swim. Our 4 year old son enjoyed sitting in the pool on the steps (he cant swim) but it didnt stop him enjoying it.
The bedrooms were very clean and the villa was well stocked with books, dvd's, games (Jenga etc and apparently a tv game console too) an iron, a microwave, stereo, a hairdryer, sky tv (nice big tv screen), the owners have thought of everything, it was like home from home except there was much more sunshine. A lovely holiday.
You definately need a car for this property as it is tucked away in a lovely quiet area."

| "there was eight of us who stayed at the property, including parents, aunts, uncle and two kids, plenty of space for time by yourselves, villa clean and tidy but you definately need a car, we were unable to walk to the bar or beach due to the steep hill to the villa. Satellite TV was patchy and we lost service of all channels by 8.30pm but there are plenty of videos and dvd's to keep you occupied.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely secluded Villa, and will never forget the smell of the fantastic garden first thing in the morning. Thanks for the memories and the holiday

| "The property was lovely, very spacious & well laid out.
Would have appreciated more local information left in the villa i.e doctors, taxi's, restaurants, places to do & see etc etc. Basically a portfolio of information.
Feel strongly that it should be pointed out that the walk back to the villa is off a steep incline.
Overall the villa was very good, and we would certainly return again.

| "The exterior of the property was in excellent conditions. The huge area around the house was perfect for the kids to play and was used any minute spent at the house.
The interior was ok too, but not very comfy sofas to watch the world cup of football.
We were 7 adults and 2 kids and really enjoyed the vacation.
The house was located in a very nice area with many beaches, restaurants and golfcourses nearby. Recommended!"

"eFirst Impressions are important and we were impressed by the speed and business approach to our initial enquiry. Others took either days or weeks to reply.
The photos shown on the web do not do justice to the villa and the rooms are larger than we expected. Its location is in a secluded and attractive area and is ideal either for getting to the centre of Moraira with beaches suitable for the smallest of children, shops and restaurants, or for lazing around the pool and having a bar-b-que.
(do remember that a car is essential)
We thoroughly enjoyed the 18 days we were there - but we were disappointed that the villa had only one tiny fridge, barely big enough to hold the drinks that 6 adults required - although we have since been told that this was due to a breakdown and removal of a second one. Perhaps the caretaker should have been authorised to replace this before we arrived.
We wish the owners good-luck for future seasons.
"
Owner reply:
:
This is a valid comment. The previous renters had left the second fridge switched off and the door closed for two weeks. The fridge became unpleasant and unsuitable for use.
We have now replaced this equipment and are confident there is plenty of refridgerator space available

| "From the moment we arrived at the property we felt at home. Casa de la Flore has a very calming and relaxing feeling. It has a very good standard of furnishings and its outside space is great, we never had a meal indoors! The pool is a very good size, plenty of room for our party of six. The views from the upstairs terrace are beautiful and the location of the villa is great, it is set in a mature area and so you get lots of space. All in all we wished we had stayed for one more week, or maybe two. We will definately recommend it to people and hopefully will return to such a fantastic place. And as for Moraira itself, it has a lovely low-key feeling but with plenty of restaurants to keep everyone happy, bliss! Oh and you will fall in love with the views of Calpe rock on your travels to and from the Casa."

| "We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this clean and well appointed villa. The crystal clear water in the secluded pool was very inviting on hot days and the comfortable settee in the Naya perfect for an afternoon siesta. The layout of the villa suited our family composition (me, two adult sons, daughter and partner) well; the various seating areas giving space for solitude as well as socialising. Will definitely be back."

The pool area is very private, we had poolside barbeques, and used the Naya for breakfast every day. We would recommend Casa de la Flora to anyone who does not want it for the same two weeks as us next year! Thanks again, keep up the standard."

| "We have been on many villa holidays over the last few years, and would say that Casa de la Flora was one of the best we have stayed at. The pool and surroundings are magnificent with plenty of room to sunbathe or sit in the shade. It was great to have air conditioning in the bedrooms, and all of the rooms were a good size. We had a load of fun playing table tennis and would reccommend this villa to anyone, I can't wait to return hopefully next year."

"Wanted somewhere that was quiet and secluded and private. This villa is all those things. As my family are Muslim's, privacy for sunbathing was very important and we were able to swim and sunbathe completely undisturbed. There was plenty of space for us all. The facilities were completely adequate for our needs. Some evenings we cooked dinner at the villa and we had everything we needed. I have recommended this villa to my friends and family and have booked myself again for next year. We had an enjoyable, relaxing time."
