| "We have just got back from Kalkan and have had a most wonderful holiday. I'm certain it wont be our last now we have 'discovered' the place -I hope we will be able to book again next year. Your place was absolutely perfect and certainly lived up to your description and photographs. If you ever need any more endorsements, just let me know. We met Murat on a couple of occasions -he is a great chap to know! We also met his good friend Serkhan at Define Tours and came away with empty wallets having booked loads of trips out -all very well organised and good value when we worked it out. Stephen 5/9/09"

| "Dear KarynJust to let you know we had a great holiday in Kalkan - everything was just as you described and better. We went to Saklikent Gorge walked up a km or so then did the rafting down the river, boat trip and barbeque from the Patara Prince, canoeing on the river to Patara Beach and finished off with some paragliding. I have put a review on Tripadvisor which should be up in a few days. All in all a fantastic holiday many thanks - no doubt we will be back! Jane and Harry"

"To arrive to the washing machine on full spin & then the cleaner turning up was not the best introduction to the villa. The cleaner did stop the machine (which in my opinion was overloaded) and we were assured that they would be back to unload, we never saw them again the cleaning service in opur stay!
I did put the sheets etc out & put away and changed the linen for the 2nd week. This was not a huge issue but I think you should be aware that you are not getting the service that you should be.
We did find the cat very annoying, especially when on the work surfaces in the kitchen. My daughter is especially very nervous of cats and would have been grateful if this could have been advised prior to our going.
2nd bedroom - shower door did come out very easily, no handles on the wardrobe and a nail sticking up in the middle of the floor. Hooks for hanging damp towels would be useful in both bathrooms and toilet paper on arrival at the villa would have been welcome.
Final observations - Only 2 breakfast bowls & a felling of the various trees outside the balcony would make the view a lot easier.
Nevertheless would return

As the owner I am very upset about this review. I am currently speaking to the manager who looks after my property to find out why the usual high standard of service was not upheld on this occasion. I am confused about the comment of our cat being annoying. We dont own at cat! This cat must have been let in by the guests. I will also be staying in the property in a couple of weeks time so I can again ensure that high standards continue. I am glad the family would still recommend our duplex villa and stay again...cant have been that bad!

"0.Weve just returned from a 2 week stay at the Patara Prince resort staying in Sunset and had a great time. The villa was more than big enough for the 4 of us and the resort provided everything we needed for a great stay. The staff were first rate - wed seen some of the reviews which said they could be less than helpful but we had no problems at all. Our flight to Turkey was 2 hours late and we got to the resort after the restaurant closed but the staff understood our situation and rustled up a quick meal in no time. The free shuttle bus was a great idea and saved climbing the steps back up to Sunset which is at the top of the resort. The pools were clean and the food was excellent and cheap with a discount for residents in the resort restaurants. Kalkan was friendly, easy to get around and the water taxi across the bay to the village was only £3 each way for the 4 of us. Eating out was cheap and we never had any issues with food or poor service despite trying out most of the restaurants during our stay. Wed certainly go back to the villa and will seriously consider it next year. If you do go then take a seive or colander with you as there arent any in the villa but if thats all I can think of to criticize then I guess that says a lot!"

| "Fantasitc apartment, spacious and very comfortable, thank goodness for air-conditioning!
Had everthing we needed and felt very at home immediately. Loved the wonderful views from the main bedroom and the balcony. It had a brilliant location on the resort and was only a short walk, although up many steps, to the family pool area and the convenience store. We also loved getting the water taxi over to Kalkan town each night for dinner, watching the sun set each evening. Loads of wonderful restaurants in Kalkan, spoilt for choice. We will definitely return as we found the apartment, Kalkan and the local people welcoming, friendly and extremely enjoyable. Thanks very much."

| "This villa is both larger and lovelier than we anticipated from the photos & reviews.
Beds & linens very comfortable and bedrooms [both with ensuites], simply & elegantly decorated, airy and light with lovely darkwood vaulted ceilings.
The views from both ground and bedroom floors are stunning - and hit you as soon as you open the front door.
The terrace was a cool haven for much of the day and the barbecue a great asset.
Surprisingly spacious - more than ample room for our family of four on an extended stay: 3 toilets!
What was also much appreciated about this villa is its location within the resort: Right at the top not only is the vista great but it is possible to park just behind the villa [so requiring just a few steps up] and just beyond the parking & store is the stunning family pools area which, at the beginning of July, we had pretty much to ourselves many mornings. The company of the many cats and their kittens who hang out this resort was an unexpected bonus for us.
There is a splendid spiral staircase not photographed [which I mention for benefit of anyone with toddlers as the handrail uprights are spaced apart]
All communications with both Villarenters, the owners and their local manager prompt, straightforward and satisfactory.
After much comparison of available properties for really just a little extra money this two bed villa offers exceptionally spacious much and comfortable accommodation! We really enjoyed our stay."

| "An amazing property, excellent views, loads of on-site facilities and Kalkan town itself is fantastic too.
We were very well looked after during our stay, Murat (the person who looks after the villa) couldn't be more helpful.
The villa was cleaned mid-stay.
I would score it 11/10, same time next year?"

| "I stayed at this property a couple of years ago and am taking my husband back this year. The resort is wonderful. The restaurants both here and in kalcan itself are good value and using the shuttle boat is great fun. Swimming and snorkelling in the blue sea is a super experience.
I used the shuttle bus back to the apartment every day, but walked down for the exercise! This service is free and well used. All the staff were very friendly and helpful."

| " Great views,fantastic resort,lovely food both at the hotel and in Kalkan itself....Easy to get to from the airport...Villa itself set at the top of the resort-no problems as the shuttle bus service is excellent. The Bluest sea in the Med easily...Well fitted out and an excellent size....Well looked after...Kalkan is a lovely place...Will definitely be going back "
