| "DO NOT BOOK THIS APARTMENT
OWNER DOES NOT KEEP HIS WORD!!!
When we arrived at the apartment it was dirty with week-old wet laundry piled on the beds. We contacted the owner and he could not arrange a cleaner until the next day. We were assured the apartment would be cleaned by 10 am the next morning, but when we arrived for the second time the cleaners were just begining & the apartment was not ready until 1300. The cleaners informed us that it was not the first time this had occurred.
The final insult was that the owner gave us his word that he would reimburse us for our expense to stay at another hotel for the first night. After trying to contact him several times he has not responded or reimbursed us the rather modest hotel fee.

"Very nice apartment,with excellent position overlooking the swimming pool.
We found it very quiet and relaxing and the description was very accurate.I would definately recommend it. The only drawback was that we had no maid service."

The apartment has been completely redecorated since the previous reviews.Also the management of the complex has changed also, which hopefully has brought about some new improved conditions. I'm glad that you have benefitted from theses improvements. I should add that the conditions were already in my opinion, excellent.

"before anyone thinks about hireing property privately [read on]
we arrived on 23/09/2006 for 2weeks, 1st week was ideal very quiet and very relaxing,only draw back was the toaster,z-bed,andbed settee were broken,but we never ate in and there was only 2 of us so the bedroom was adequate.the second week was pure misery 2 teens of about 18 or 19 moved in next door they drank in there rooms all night and smoked dope during the day,when my husbnd banged on the wall at 4am one morning he was met with a barrage of foul mouthed abuse,so remember nobody has any come back in this situation there is no rep to run 2 and as 4 the women on reception she was full of empty promises and we did not find her very helpful at all, other than that the island is still the best of the canaries and we did enjoy our holiday but not the second week of our accomedation,would i reccomend the place..yes ..if you can put up with the fact the neighbors you get may not be to your likeing.also there is no air conditioning and the living area gets unbearably hot 24 hours a day would i go there again..NO..would i go to the island again ..YES.."

Since this review redecoration and new equipment, along with a new management, will hopefully have resolved any issues mentioned.

"The property itself was not what we had expected, however it was good value for money. The fan and air conditioning unit were a plus as it helped to keep you cool in the evenings. I was dissappointed when I found the toaster did not work. There was no oven or iron/ironing board as stated on the description of the property. In general the complex is a friendly environment. The barstaff were particularly helpful on our arrival for collection of keys to the apartment. I feel that there was not enough clean linen for our two week stay. We were informed by Reception that there would be no cleaner and that we would have to pay 60 euros for the service if required. I chose to mop floors myself!!! Which is not an ideal situation when you are supposed to be on holiday, the other alternative was to go to the launderette to wash the linen. The sleeping arrangements were okay, however the sofa bed was uncomfortable. The views from the balcony are good and the cool breeze is ideal for families with children."

| "Very comfortable and clean apartment with lovely view from the large balcony over the 3 swimming pools and gardens - ideal to watch the sun go down with a cold drink. There is a friendly bar in the pool area if you want to socialise (not visible or audible from the balcony if you want peace and quiet). We found it very quiet and relaxing and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The management team are very friendly and helpful. Excellent restaurants 15 minutes walk away and lovely little beach 10 minutes walk."
