| "Accomodation was excellent , every thing you could possibly need was supplied. Area is very quiet and house is on very narrow country roads.Only downside maybe is it takes about 15-20 minutes drive to nearest town Dungarvan."

| "Superb, well situated & spacious barn with wonderful main living space (large kitchen area, complete with farmhouse table) and huge upstairs master bedroom. Really well equipped, a proper home from home. Large garden which our dog loved & lovely walk down to the secluded cove.
Very peaceful location and owners friendly and thoughtful, even providing fresh flowers for our arrival. Beds very comfortable and towels white & clean.
Probably the best place weve stayed in so far."

| "we wanted a family holiday and we found The Barn met our needs and we all fitted in well and comfortably.
We found it clean and all linen was changed during our stay and the cleaners came in.
It was great fun having the ducks and dogs around.
AJ and John were very friendly and made us very welcome"

The owners were very friendly and helpful and the animals on site lovely. Highly recommend this property to anyone and hope to return again soon. Thank you"

| "We had a wonderful holiday in the Old Barn. The building is full of character and very tastefully restored. It was great to have so much space both inside the house and outside in the patio and the safely enclosed garden area. Our toddler was crazy about the animals and the highlight for him was spending time with the dogs, ducks and donkeys and looking at the horses and cows in the nearby fields. The only disadvantage, and this was specific to our circumstances, was that there wasnt any safe walk we could bring him on from the house as he was too young to be trusted on the narrow road. But within close driving distance there were lovely beaches and we all enjoyed taking trips there. We had great meals in the Tannery in Dungarvan and lots of other nice spots. John and AJ are right next door and were very kind and helpful when we had any request. Overall it was an excellent choice for our holiday. Mile buiochas."

| "The barn layout was excellent especially the kitchen / dining area, very convivial.
For those that wanted to indulge, the separate TV & sitting room was ideal and 2 en-suite rooms plus a shared bathroom for the 2 twin rooms was a real bonus.
Plenty of room outside for casual sitting and BBQ, a wonderful peaceful location, although not the easiest to find, read the directions really carefully especially if you arrive after dark."

| "Very nice and comfortable home on a farm with friendly horses, donkeys, dogs and a duck that knocks on the door to be fed. The owners live right next door and are very helpful and friendly when approached, giving helpful information about the history and attractions of the area. Lots of reference materials in the house to help guide your explorations. A great time was had by all"

| "his property is absolutely stunning! The owners have provided everything you could ever need and more! It was a nice touch to find a box of toys and some books that our child could use. To be able to wake up every day and have 3 ducks tapping at your door for breakfast was also a pleasure! We had a great time and are already looking at booking for next year"

"Wonderful, spacious, clean property. Everything as described, and more. Loved the well equipped, homely kitchen. (Appreciated all the little touches like dish washer tablets!)
The area and surroundings are fabulous, enjoyed our regular walks to the secret cove and discovering the local beaches. Also enjoyed relaxing on the sun loungers in the garden.
Would definitely recommend and would love to visit again.
(The only negative point was the need for another shower room and toilet upstairs for the use of the twin bedrooms)."
Owner reply:
:
The property already has 3 bathrooms. We think this is more than enough for 8 people!!

| "First trip to Southern Ireland and could not have selected a nicer area and fantastic property
Mr and Mrs Finn made us very welcome and their dogs and ducks adopted us form day one
Weather was fantastic and we had a wonderfully relaxing and enjoyable week
Beaches were superbly unspoilt and had a distinct lack of people on them which was an unusual treat
We will definitely retun and hopefully to the Barn"

| "I would highly recommend The Old Barn to anyone who wants to stay in Ireland. Not only was the barn very clean it was also spacious and modern. The pictures on the web site do not do it justice.
We have just returned having spent a wonderful week there. We had six adults and two children in our party and we all agreed we had definately made the right choice.
It is very near some beautiful beaches too."

| "Lovely part of the world and the barn is very well decorated with incredibly comfortable beds! AJ and John were very accommodating and helpful. Our only comments for improvement would be that for a barn that sleeps 8 it really does require a larger fridge / freezer than what was on offer and also a toaster that does more than 2 slices of bread at a time. A good time was had by all of us and the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves too."

| "Our family had a wonderful experience in Old Parish. The family was right next door--helpful whenyouneed a spatula!--and their girls taught my children some Gaelic games. The animals on the farm are a great attraction, and the surrounding countryside was both beautiful and accessible for long walks.
We have 4 kids, and a sister in law travelled with us, and yet there was plenty of room for everyone to have privacy in the house. All the amenities, from dishwasher to dryer, were available. I can't wait to return."

| "Staying at the Old Barn was the best vacation week my family has ever experienced. The location is well situated for days trips within Ireland. Our hosts hosts the Finn family could not have been more gracious and have done a remarkable job in transforming a 300 year old barn into a luxury vacation home.
Thank you."

| "A most interesting renewal of a very old building - just as described only better. The Finn family including the dogs, ducks, lambs and chicken were very helpful and friendly.
The standard and quality of the furniture and fittings was good, clean and well maintained.
The locality is still relatively unspoilt by the rapid changes that have taken place in Ireland and the scenery and cliff walks beautiful.

"A beautifully converted barn in a lovely rural location. Extremely spacious perfect for 2 families or large family gatherings. We loved the big kitchen and the galleried landing area. Tasteful decor and thoughtful touches like a tumble drier and Dvd player!! Beautiful beaches nearby and plenty of facilities in Youghal and Dungarvan. Our hosts could not have been more friendly - we shall be back and encouraging our friends to visit."

"The barn is perfect for a large family or two families hollidaying together. The accommodation is spacious and decorated in a charming country style. We stayed in June this year and had a fantastic week exploring the local beaches and towns. The barn is in a rural location in easy reach of Dungarvon and Youghall. There are lovely walks from the door and plenty to do in the surrounding area. We will be returning and telling our friends."

"The 'Old Barn' is straight out of Grand Designs, it's amazing. The barn has been converted with amazing attention to detail. All fixtures and fittings are of the best quality. I fell in love with the Stanley oven! It really was a home from home for our holiday. The owners are a lovely family that couldn't do more to make you feel welcome and they ensure you have plenty of ideas for activities!"
