| "We have just returned from our second holiday at Villa Athena in Pego. Yet another outstanding success!! Everyone cant wait until next time. The Villa had everything that we needed, and has the most amazingly relaxed atmosphere. Everything that you needed was there. Time flew by, a true sign of a successful holiday!"

| "What a fantastic villa. Beautifully decorated and consideration given to any holidaymakers' needs. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay - relaxing, sangria and swimming - the lot!
The views from the balconies first thing in the morning and last thing at night will remain in our thoughts.

| "What can we say? The villa is fantastic - everything you could possibly want - the website doesn't do it justice. Pego has rustic charm - lunchtime tapas as Bar Zovilla in the square are excellent and ice cream in the treelined placa is a must. Beaches between Oliva and Gandia are great and coastal towns of Denia, Javea and Calpe are great. We loved our stay - time to relax by the pool and lovely places to visit. Picking our own lemons was an extra touch. Many thanks."

| "What a great villa, brilliant views and with everything you needed included. Even better than the photos indicated. It worked from Teenagers to Grandma, and us in between! The Pool, Jacuzzi and Barbeque were first-class and much use was made of them. Lots to do locally, really enjoyed the Caves at Benidoleig, Gandia for shopping and the beach and Javea to visit the market. Planned to go to Valencia but ran out of time, too busy ‘chill-axing’ (aka chilling out and relaxing!). All want to return next year. Result!"

| "Fantastic Villa, The pictures you have do not not do justice to the Villa. I have rented all over the world but this is certainly one of the best I have stayed in. Views breathtaking. Quality of furnishing excellent. Pool brilliant and hot tub.
Great to be in a part of spain where English not spoken readily, but the locals go out of thier way to help you.
Villa set overlooking plains of citrus groves down to the sea and breath taking mountain views great sunrise and set. Also Lovely quiet unspoilt beaches nearby at Oliva
We went as a family from Grand parents to Grand Children and had the most fantastic holiday spending most of our evenings enjoying the BBQ pool and hot tub, and taking the odd evening out in nearby Pego or Oliva.
Will certainly be back.

"What an amazing villa ! It was our first holiday abroad with our 2 young children and it was absolutely fantastic ! Villa-athena is an outstanding villa, with everything you could wish for. With its own pool, hot tub, outdoor bbq, outstanding views, it was everything we had dreamed of and much more ! The size & cleanliness of the villa must be seen to be believed. We also felt incredibly safe which was very important to us with our children being there. We did venture to the beach one day (which was a difficult decision as we didn't want to leave the villa!) but it was only about a 10 minute drive and the beach was beautiful and the children thoroughly enjoyed it. We have already booked to go again next year and can't wait for our return.

| "A large but comfortable villa set in the Spanish mountains so a car is a must. About an hour from Valencia airport on an easy drive.
Very stylish and well appointed. The decor is tasteful and the huge living and dining areas are complemented by a sun lounge inside and out.
The pool area is clean and well equipped. The hot tub had apparently been abused by previous tenants as it was clogged with sun cream and not working. You must shower before swimming.
The pool is excellent as are the sun loungers and table and chairs.
The bedrooms are a large double with en suite and huge walk in wardrobe; a second double with en suite but no wardrobe; 2 twins one with wardrobe and a bunk bedded room. All have air conditioning as does downstairs. There is a family bathroom upstairs with lovely bath and a downstairs shower room of good size.
The area is typical Spanish where we did have to explore to find the best restaurants and opening times.
We found little in Pego but short trips to Oliva, and Denia were very worthwhile for eating and shopping.
The pool was regularly cleaned and the nearby contacts helpful.
A wonderful week in a superb villa."

| "We recently returned from a fortnight's holiday at Villa Athena. The villa is very luxurious, it's situation glorious and the surrounding views are amazing. We all enjoyed the privacy of our own pool and hot tub & taking midnight swims felt utterly self indulgent! It is a peacful and tranquil place with a relaxed and happy atmosphere & despite being part of a party of 10, the villa felt very spacious. The busy town of Pego is a very short drive away & Pego market on Thursday mornings is a must. We will definately be returning.

| "What can we say - the villa is fabulous - much better than the photographs portray.
We had the best time , the place is so calm and relaxing and the weather was just amazing - thank goodness for air conditioning !
The position gave us a pleasant breeze which was very welcome as temperatures were in the 30's. We have been telling everyone we know and recommending a visit.The pool and spa were great.
We would love to book again as there are lots of things we wanted to see but it was too hot to do very much!

| "What a holiday we had.The villa was fantastic everything you would want,lots of space superbly furnished.We spent days by the pool swimming sunbathing relaxing.The peace and quiet was priceless.Watching the sun come up in the morning,looking across the lemon and orange groves set you up for the day.In the valley was the little town of Pego with a good range of shops/cafes/restaurants.Around the area where lots of places to visit and explore.If you went to the beach it was about 10mins away, miles of lovely sand.We enjoyed mixing with the locals in the markets and bars this was the real Spain."

| "you will see from our marking that we were well pleased with the Villa Athena. We went in May and the weather was only just getting hot but the pool and surrounding areas were in full use. The villa really does cater for ten so the 5 of us had acres of space. A particular delight was relaxing in the hot tub watching the sun go down and the mountains darken with a glass of local wine in hand. The area is essentially Spanish which gives the feeling of being abroad although the beach and resort are within a short drive. If you are looking for a holiday in a luxurious setting, then look no further!"
