We had a fantastic time during our weeks stay in La Soumaille.
The house was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The owners (Mike and Allison) were very friendly and couldnt have been more helpful in giving advise on the local tourist attractions.
Would love to return to La Soumaille and would definitely reccommend to friends and family.

| "This was our second year at La Soumaille and we enjoyed ourselves even more than last year. The peace and tranquillity of the house is idyllic. The forest area adjoining the property allows you to take shaded walks at any time of day. The kitchen / diner leading out onto the terrace makes outdoor living so easy. The view from the terrace is literally as far as the eye can see over unspoilt countryside. Mike and Alison are the perfect hosts. Thanks again for another great holiday of outstanding value."

| "La Soumaille met our expections. Privacy, seclusion, excellent views and beautiful sunsets.quiet and peaceful. We could the waterfall and the birds singing in the background what a lovely sound. The lake was full of fish and came up to eat the bread which my husband had thrown in. What a site!
A lot of ground to walk around 27 acres. Plenty of villages and places to visit in the area. you would not be bored. The house was very comfortable and well equipped. Micheal and Jordan were were on hand if needed but also respected our privacy.
I would recommend this property and we would like to return soon. Wish we could of stayed longer.
We could see why Mike and Alison fell in love with La Soumaille."

| "This gite is in a very beautiful area of France. The house itself is very comfortable, and the log fires make it cosy when the nights get cool. Mike and Alison are great hosts and very friendly, but respect your privacy."

| "My two year old daughter is still talking about it now!
Staying at La Soumaille was a great opportunity to kick back and relax in a wonderful setting. We were made to feel very welcome and would have no hesitation in recommending the accomodation and area to anyone contemplating a 'get away from it all' break."

| "I think if just a family of four booked it would be fine but there were 6 of us, 4 adults and 2 children. We felt the top floor was a little small and difficult to get to with the steep, narrow stairs.
Setting was great, total quiet and away from everything. Owners were very nice and around if needed."

| "We had a lovely holiday at La Soumaille, three weeks of complete 'de-stressing'. The property is advertised as offering peace and tranquility and it really is spectatcularly peaceful with beautiful views from the patio and wonderful sunsets.
Mike and Alison made us feel very welcome. As they were on site we knew that they were available if we needed them but the 27 acres and the location guarantees peace and quiet for everyone.
The house is larger than it appears on the website being an extended traditional cottage with three floors internally decorated and furnished in an authentic style. All the appliances and facilities were in good condition.
The Correze region is unspoilt and to some extent undiscovered. Fishing, walking, cycling and enjoying the countryside are the most obvious activities from the house. Nearby is a lovely swimming lake and waterfalls. Canoeing, karting etc. are also available in local towns and villages.

| "We were looking for a holiday home offering peace and quiet, away from it all. Happily all our requirements were met and in addition we had a beautiful view with stunning sunsets every evening. Mike and Allison, the owners, provided an excellent service but never once encroached on our privacy.
