| "There was just the two of us, but the villa was spacious and could accommodate six.
My wife enjoyed swimming in the pool in the late evening as it was lit internally making it most tempting. The pool is not heated but is plenty warm enough to use in early October when we were there.
There are several sitting out areas depending on your mood.
We did not hire a car but used the local cheap bus to get into Dalyan. Also the mountain bikes were used a couple of times.
We went on three trips with Oruc during the week. They picked us up at the villa and were always on time. The groups were small and the trips well planned.
The trip along the river to the mud baths, followed by seeing turtles at the turtle beach, catching crabs which were cooked on board made a very memorable last day. Hope to return and stay longer than a week next time."

| "We have just returned from 10 wonderful days at the Villa Kehribar. The villa is in a beautiful setting rural but not remote. We decided not to rent a car as it was easy to get around with bikes available and the dolmus stopping at the end of the lane. When it came to the evening many of the restaurants arranged to collect and return us to the villa after our meal. We had excellent meals at the Saffran and Ley-Ley. The team from Oruc was very helpful and offers a variety of tours should you want to tear yourself away from the pool and explore the area further. A perfect place. We hope to return next year."

| "We had another lovely stay at Villa Kehribar. We find it to be very comfortable and located within easy reach of Dalyan and yet far enough away to get some privacy and peace and quiet. The villa is the same price as last year and so very good value with lovely luxurious touches to comfortable and spacious family accomodation. The whole family loved going back to a familiar place and it was lovely to see people again that we remembered and who remembered us! A very happy holiday again. Thank you to the good people who looked after us and the friendly folk of Dalyan"

| "This villa was lovely, rural setting, finished to a high specification. Exceptionally well maintained by the gardener and cleaner. Well equipped, fantastic pool. We had a great holiday and would definatley consider going back to Villa Kheribar. The only thing would have liked was a hair dryer but it was not a big deal."

| "My husband and I (a middle aged couple) spent Spring Bank holiday week at the villa with our son, daughter and their partners. It was ideal accomodation for our family. Lots of space for each couple to be by themselves if they wanted to and plenty of large seating and eating areas for family times together. The villa is in a lovely setting but not remote. The bikes were a huge advantage to cycle down to the mini market and the dolmush just a short walk down the lane. We would thoroughly recommend buying veg, eggs and milk ,straight frm the cow, from neighbours opposite. The Gunluk (picnic) restautaurant just down the track serves great food at very reasonable prices and staff are really friendly. We had a marvellous time and would love to return."

| "Excellent value for money, larger and more attractive than the pictures and completely satisfactory in its management, it is difficult for us to imagine how we have done any better. A terrific part of the world with so much to do and the Oruc people right there to help you do it. It is very easy to feel a bit lost in a new place and this villa is not in the town so guidance is both necessary at the beginning and completely available. After that its easy to get around when you can tear yourself away from your own mountain views around the villa. We had very hot weather but were well equipped with shady spaces and air-conditioning indoors. My nervousness about food and water was completely unfounded and the only thing I would do differently next time would be to go on even more trips- they are completely magical! A wonderful holiday for us all - Mum, Dad, 3 kids, 21, 17 and 5. Thanks to all the professionals who helped us along the way."

| "nice villa , decoration ,furniture , swimming pool (very well oriented)
the team for the maintenance of the swimming pool and the garden is efficient and discreet
all the electric appliances work perfectly
villa is 3km far from the city of Dalyan (you need a car except if you want to ride one of the 3 bikes at your disposal)
villa is near a farm
rooster is noisy in the early morning (but better the rooster than the the prayers of the muezzin! he is far and you don t hear him at all !)"

| "My husband and myself have just returned from an absolutely fantastic two weeks holiday at Kehribar Villa. The villa was an experience to remember, the décor, location and cleanliness was spot on and the pool and gardens were very clean and maintained to a very high standard.
The area was superb with stunning scenery and we truly enjoyed a most relaxing holiday which was not too far from any entertainment if you required.
We would certainly recommend Kehribar Villa and hopefully will be able to return again soon.
Many thanks.

"Property was of a very good standard. Good size for a family or two couples. Facilities were very carefully planned out and everything that you needed was provided. We didnt feel that the pool was getting the attention that we were led to believe should have occurred but after two or three reminders this eventually was sorted. It would be a good idea that the cable tv was allowed or descrambled to watch more English speaking channels especially for children all the kids channels were blocked! The position was very quiet which suited us however the roads to the property were very poor. You definitely need a hire car but avoid Almira car rental they were awful."
Owner reply:
:
This is the first time there has been any concern about the pool. I'm glad that the local management agents [who are available 24:7] sorted it out. The pool man services the pool early, daily, to avoid disturbing the guests, and returns in the evening to switch off the filter. The TV is linked to a Turkish Satelite station which recieves Turkish, European [not UK] and BBC World services. It is not a paid subscription service; however there is a small CD & DVD library of both Adult & Children's films for guest's use. The villa is in a rural area where many minor roads are unfinished, but it is at the end of a paved lane and the roads are entirely passable. As for car hire, this is a matter of personal preference. Many of our guests do not hire, and neither do we normally. There are 3 bikes available, and the local mini bus stops at the end of the lane frequesntly all day, it is only 1.5 miles into Dalyan, and most of the tours available will pick you up at the end of the lane.

| "You can tell boutique-hoteliers own this property. It is immaculately furnished and equipped, and one of the most stylish, architecturally-designed properties near Dalyan. Set a mile away from the market town - with its lazy river snaking through lush, high cliffs - you start the day by the beautifully maintained pool with a view of mountains and the sound of birdsong.
It's the perfect base from which to explore - or not. We found it was perfectly possible to spend the day between hammock, pool and kitchen, perhaps with a bike ride up the nearby track to discover turtles, goats and fantastic dragonflies, while mountain streams enable you to cool your feet.
The property is exquisitely furnished, with cream cotton bed linen, marble floors, power showers and plenty of places to sit depending on the time of day.
We would also recommend a trip to the famous beach, which entails a drive over the hills and a stop at one of the pancake places built on treehouse stilts over the valley. Sublime.

| "Absolutley everything was catered for. The villa was clean & well looked after, and any issues were quickly and professionally looked after. We would like to go back in the future with a larger group [this was our honeymoon]. The area surrounding the villa was lovely, not spoiled & the bikes enabled us to enjoy the surroundings. Many, many thanks"

| "I have travelled all over the world and very rarely does the accommodation
exceed my expectation – Kerhibar did in every respect!
I do not think your photos can do full justice to the villa or its very
special location – Marmarli really does have a timeless quality.
The management guys could not have been more helpful.
– we will return!!
Very best wishes

| "This was our first time in Turkey and we certainly weren't disappointed. The villa was spacious and was furnished and decorated to a very high standard. It was scrupulously clean and all the cleaning materials, including washing powder and dishwasher powder were provided...in fact everything was supplied right down to sumptuous bathrobes for lounging around on the luxurious sofas...it was like staying in a very exclusive boutique hotel!
Although the villa is situated about 10 minutes by car from Dalyan this wasn't a problem for us as we used the frequent dolmus services (I suppose this wouldn't be ideal if you have very young children) but we enjoyed the rural and very peaceful location.
Both Yvonne (the owner) and Oruc (the management company) were extremely helpful and accommodating and we can't praise Oruc enough for the service they provided us with."
