| "The Boulangerie is in a beautiful location and we a fantastic week. There is much in the area to keep busy, or the grounds to the boulangerie make a perfect sunbathing area with an outside pool a short walk away.
The gite catered for our every need and is truely a "dolls house" as described by a previous guest!
The locals were very friendly and the english managers very helpful.
Well worth the money and a welcome change from our normal beach package holidays!!! Will definately return at a later date!"

| "This is a great little house, small but perfectly adequate for two people. It is well converted, nicely set out and has all you need for pleasant stay.
It is a good base for exploring this area of Normandy from and there is plenty to do. You will however almost certainly need a car. However the local village of Brecey is around a 40 minute walk away and has a few good and fairly quite bars and restaurants.
Overall this place offers a relaxing and peaceful stay. There are busy days on offer if you want them or walks in the countryside around the house were you will be unlucky to run into another sole.

| "In a lovely rural part of Normandy, this little gite had everything we needed for a short break. The beds were comfortable and the linens and towels supplied were clean and fresh.
Although the weather could have been better, we were warm and comfortable.
Brecey is a nice little town and an ideal base for exploring Normandy."

| "The property is a very nice little gite (well put together and has everything you need). It is also set in a lovely secluded area.
However, the town of Brecey is just outside walking distance away. The one recommended restaurant in Brecey was closed for their holidays when we went. As such we had to drive to every restaurant (all other villages are about 20-30mins away).
The gite was fantastic for relaxing during the day, but limited at night for places to go. As a result we only stayed there for a third of our 2 week alloted stay.
If you are after a relaxing holiday with very little to disturb you, then I recommend this gite. If however you want to be close to a good restaurant or bar, and near to this to do - I would not recommend this gite."

| "We really enjoyed our stay at La Boulangerie. The cottage is certainly small but comfortable for two and with everything two people could need for a holiday. A lovely quiet rural area, we spent most of our evenings sitting outside with a few drinks and a BBQ. A great locality, Brecey, a 40 min walk away, is an unspoilt little french town with everything you need from a supermarket to a little bakery.
Will definatly visit the area again."

"Wonderful retreat in our 25th year of marriage. Enjoyed 5 sunny days of peace & tranquillity overlooking the valley, relaxing. Gite has everything to compliment the holiday, all meals al fresco! Enjoyed swim at Brecey but the highlight of our stay has to be seeing the seeing the barn owl fly from the barn over the field at dusk. Hope to return."
