| "The position of the apartment in the beautiful old town of Quito is excellent. 5 min walk to restaurants, museums the presidential palace etc. Security is perfect as well with very well looked after building. Internet café in the same house.
But the best is the personal care from Maria, the owner of the apartment, whether you need shopping advice or finding a doctor or a dentist she organizes everything. If you have language problems she even follows you to the doctor!! This service provides a tremendous added value for renting the apartment as well as security for her guests and a good feeling for our folks back home wondering how we are making it in South America!
Maria is also a famous photographer with exhibitions all over the world that seams to know everyone from Alaska to Patagonia. She is also a lovely human being!

| "We were met by the owner and given a wonderful tour of Centro Historico by the owner. The apartment location is very convienent to the best tourist sites that Quito has to offer. The furnishings, appliances and restoration of the apartment were of the highest quality."

| "This apartment is lovely. It has all the facilities that you could need and everything is in very good condition. The whole apartment block is very well maintained and the apartment is cleaned to a very high standard 3 times a week.
The apartment is very comfortable and in a very convenient area. The central square in quitos old town is within 3 minutes walk and there are plenty of local shops and services. The theatre is even closer and the square outside it has lots of events going on.
You feel very secure in the apartment and the guards are all very friendly and keen to help with any questions and problems.
The owners are very helpful and as well as giving us lots of information about the local area they were also very helpful in helping us sort out any problems that arose.
Quito old town can be noisy at times with the traffic and you will hear it at times but this is the same for all places in the old town.
I would recommend the apartment and we now have to face hostels and hotels when we leave Quito which is going to be a big wrench."

| "Upon arriving in Ecuador for the first time, I was given the option to stay in Old Town (historical) Quito or New Town (Mariscal) Quito. I opted for the history and I am glad I did.
I was also fortunate enough to find one of the most charming apartments I have seen yet in Quito. A fully renovated building that houses only a few apartments, private parking, breath-taking interior courtyard, and a third floor balcony overlooking the street. I honestly couldn't believe my fortune. I was originally only supposed to stay for a couple of days and use the apartment as a home base while I learned the layout of the city and decided what I wanted to do next.. but I had a hard time leaving and ended up keeping the apartment for a little over one week.
24 hour security that met me at the entrance made me feel safe.. four ft. thick (honestly) colonial built walls insured privacy.. immaculately decorated with the owners original Ecuadorian themed photography and artwork.. after a few days I couldn't help but feel like one of the locals.
Since that time I have stayed at various hotels, hostals and B&B throughout Ecuador.. but nothing yet has matched this first apartment. It was the perfect WELCOME to Ecuador and I so strongly recommend this to anyone looking for a temporary place to stay in Quito."
