| "As we were three generations holidaying together we needed a villa that had something for everyone. The Umbria Tower House met this requirement in bucketfuls! Even before we left home it was clear that the owners Lin & Carlos were determined we should have a good holiday when they contacted us to check for any additional requirements and an offer to get provisions in ready for our arrival. This level of helpfulness without intrusion continued throughout our stay. The location is stunning with fantastic views in all directions. The garden and swimming pool are very well maintained and the house is full of interesting items and quiet corners for individuals to retreat to. It is also clean and well equipped with books and toys for the children to use inside and outside in the pool. Our Grandchildren loved it all, especially the hammocks and ice lollies from Lin. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone and we plan to return ourselves as soon as possible."

Tired and bedraggled from our endlessly delayed overnight journey from New York. Lin and Carlos' warm, hospitable embrace instantly signaled that this would be our yearned for enchanting refuge. A welcome that included a supper whipped up on the spur of the moment (at midnight) but tasting like it had been in the works for weeks set the tone for our vacation and never let up. The villa was everything we hoped it would be; charming and tastefully appointed, without feeling overly formal or precious in any way....Grazie mille for sharing this piece of paradise with us. Give us a shout when you are in New York so we can return a small part of your gracious hospitality.

The rooms are beautiful, the art and furniture are beautiful (I especially love your paintings Lin) The wildlife and scenery waere nothing short of amazing. It is incredibly difficult to tear ourselves away from this beautiful place. It has been a wonderful week. Tom (5) was delighted to find lego, dinosaurs, puzzles, a Buzz lightyear, and an endless supply of ice lollies. Thank you for your warm hospitality and we very much hope to see you again next year. Our third visit to this wonderful place - last time in 2000. ..Two wonderful weeks by the pool, swimming and reading in the green shade...just enjhoyed the peace, the sunshine and the wild life, squirrels, chafes, hoopoes, butterflies flitting around the pool, the fireflies that shine so brightly...Lovely to meet you at last Lin and Carlos.
