| "Great value - would highly recommend. Just make sure you don't book it at a time when we want it as we'd defintely go back!! The reviewer on this site who said it was comparable to a five-star hotel had a point but don't get over excited about "luxury". The flat is however spotlessly clean, very tastefully decorated and in an ideal location near trams, buses and Parliament. No pics of bathroom on this site but can assure readers it's very nice (shower only, no bath but you won't miss it!) and has lovely hot water.
Well stocked with multi-lanuguage DVD's but no music cd's at the moment. The double bed was the most comfortable bed EVER (which after days pounding the Budapest streets was most welcome!). Erika and Matt were really helpful and were available by text throughout our stay for answering quick q's - which goes above and beyond the call of duty in my book!
Have suggested to Erika that she makes a little local map for supermarket, bars, restaurants and perhaps leave a decent taxi number (NOTE - there are two airports in Budapest (well, 2 terminals anyway!) 7km apart and our dodgy taxi-driver took us to the wrong one when we had a flight home to catch!!! Wee bit stressful!) Loved our time at the apartment and had a great time. Would make a really good bolt-hole for a loved-up couple who didn't want to pay five-star hotel prices! Top-marks!!!

| "The property was in an excellent location with just a short walk from the Danube, metro and all ameneties, making it perfect for sight seeing and touring the city. The apartment itself was in superb condition, very clean and homely, spacious enough for two and gave a feeling of safety throughout. I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in Budapest including those who were considering spending £200.00 - £300.00 a night in a good hotel. I will return!"

| "The studio apartment has been lovingly decorated by its owners with the intention to reflect a hotel suite. They have achieved this. The furnishings have an antique feel, and the decor is elegant. The bathroom and the kitchenette are both very modern and in impeccable order.
The apartment is in a superb location, literally a few minutes walk from Parliament, freedom square, the danube and the underground. An excellent base from which to explore Budapest.
The aparment owner Erica, and her husband Matt were very accomodating and kind enough to let us stay in the apartment until late afternoon, given our early evening flat. In addition, thet provided lots of guidance on what to visit in the city, and where to eat/drink.
All in all, my partner and I believe this to be an excellent value for money apartment, particularly when you compare to the 4* hotels in the area, of which this is equivalent in standard.
