| "Glendalough cottage was immaculately clean and obviously very well looked after. It had two spacious bedrooms and sufficient living area for the four adults and one child in our party. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed. Things such as towels, hairdryer and iron made a big difference to our packing!
Teresa gave us a warm welcome and made sure that the travel cot was provided as requested. We also appreciated the apple tart we were given.
The cottage was in close proximity to the town centre and Lismore itself was an excellent base for our travels throughout the week.

| "Spacious, comfortable and clean with a lovely long back garden, perfect for relaxing in on a sunny day or after a days sight seeing. It exceededy my expectations and was very good value for money. Location is ideal, pubs, shops resturants, take-aways, lismore castle all within walking distance."

| "great house clean and well equiped. Centrally located. Clean and well equiped kitchen. Lovely big garden. Comfortable beds. Great helpful and friendly lady who looked afteer the place. Very interesting town to visit if you like history. Also great for fishermen or anyone who likes walking and cycling. The only difficulty we had was with the website when we booked. It was complicated and took much longer than usual."

| "Cottage was well equipped, warm and comfortable with everything required to make a relaxing holiday. Kitchen well equipped and the bathroom was O.K. although the wash basin could be bigger being only a small cloakroom basin. There was a long garden at the rear which in summer would be just the thing with young children etc. The on street parking was O.K. although would advise future residents to make sure that their wing mirrors were in, as traffic going past the cottage was pretty fast. No real complaints though and Teresa, who looked after the cottage and us was an added bonus. She was always smiling and helpful and made an apple pie as a welcome gift for us, which made two of our party extremely happy indeed!! Cottage was minutes from the main street in Lismore so it was nice to be able to leave the car behind and walk into the town for our evening meals. All in all, an excellent property, well maintained, clean and tidy and very, very comfortable."

| "The location was excellent. However personnally I didnt like being directly off the street.
I did not find the wet room to my taste either as every time the shower was used the toilet got wet.
The welcome pack was good, however it would have been a nice touch if things such as soap, shower and bath stuff, salt, pepper etc could be added.
The electricity supplied via a coin meter was very expensive. The television only had two channels the whole time we were there.
We were well looked after, and all the above comments would not prevent us from going back."

| "We arrived at Gelndalough Cottage to find Teresa waiting on us, she was very welcoming and was very nice to the children. We could not believe that she has a lovely welcome pack ready in the kitchen for us. The cottage is beautiful it looks small from the outside but once you go through the hall door it is so bright, very well decorated, very airy and the rooms are big. There was plenty of room for 2 adults and 3 children. The kitchen had everything at hand that we required to cook for the children, very well equipped with utensils, the only thing missing was a dishwasher and Teresa said they hope to have one soon. The bedrooms were big and had plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was beautiful. The bathroom was huge, it had a bath and a stand alone shower. The back garden had a patio area and the garden was huge for the children and very safe as it is walled in so they had no escape. It is a 2 minute walk into the town of Lismore where we found a new playground for children of all ages (ours are 2, 5 & 6). The Castle is right beside the playground. We were very happy with out 4 day stay in Lismore and we were all disappointed that we could not stay longer, We would have no hesitation in recommending this property as we really enjoyed our stay."

| "Great location & friendly neighborhood. Teresa was extremely pleasant as a host, and the owner, Mr. Cummins, was very responsive when I goofed on the dates of my booking. My only gripes are the lack of a dishwasher, poor hot water pressure for the kitchen sink, not the best quality cookware, too few dishes & cutlery, and the furniture seemed cheaply made (but comfortable enough). Then again, I was expecting to use the kitchen quite a bit.
All in all, I had no real complaints with the space and would recommend it for a quiet stay in a nice southern Irish town."
