| "My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Alberobello and the villa. The property was beautiful. Although the weather did not favour use of the pool, we both said wed love to visit again, just a few weeks earlier. We enjoyed long walks in the immediate area as well as car trips almost daily to the local markets in the different nearby towns. It was nice seeing the same faces at the stalls and also being recognised by some. Great food to take back to the villa and cook, either inside or at the BBQ. We will definitely be back, this time bringing along another couple or two for relaxing and enjoying. Thank you Trullo Serena."

"Nice trullo with good finish and modern furnishings and bathrooms. Great pool. Quiet rural location up a track well off the beaten track. Only issues were the closer than expected proximity of the neighbouring "Olivia" trullo property which meant you could hear them talking or playing music and, importantly, meant you couldnt safely assume no one would see you by your pool - they could. We were lucky our fellow neighbours were nice/not in much. TV, DVD and electricity supply problems that we encountered (and which we are told are jsut a hazard of life in Puglia) were all dealt with very efficiently by the wonderful Marcella. The number for Noreen was not printed right in the guide in the house so she didnt even know wed left her messages! Oh and a stray dog kept coming round the property and no-one seemed able/willing to get rid of him (the English neighbours had been feeding him in typical naive animal lover fashion). Overall, Puglia fantastic and Alberobello lovely. A good base to visit places."

:
Having stayed at Olivia and Serena many times ourselves I feel that the comments regarding the proximity of the two properties is exagerrated. Olivia is situated in the centre of its land - Serena towards the front and the pools have been deliberately placed to give privacy. I have never been aware of neighbours conversations or music. Also it would have been helpful if the reviewer had let me know that the number in the property was incorrect and I would have immediately made sure it was rectified - we had our own family holiday the week after he left. This review was written 5 weeks after his stay. Yes there was a very friendly stray dog and while we were there we organised his rehoming.

| "Trullo Serena was quite simply delightful, the Trullo is set in a very rural location amidst an Olive Grove so the peace, privacy and tranquility were just what we were looking for. The two weeks that we were there were just wonderful. We experienced no problems with the pool or trullo and also no issues with the housekeeping of the property. When we arrived the DVD had previously been broken, after reporting the matter we received a new one within a couple of days (although very little TV was watched) We ran out of water on our 2nd Saturday and less than 3hrs later we had a truck delivery of water. The Trullo was well equipped and clean although on a two week stay it would be nice for the trullo to be cleaned again mid stay although towels & linen were changed.
We had expected to eat out most evenings but with the excellent range of fresh local produce and the use of a superb built in BBQ (my 10yr old drew a fab pic of it in the visitors book) we ate in 12 out of the 14 nights and once all the girls were in bed we sat out until the early hours enjoying a bottle of wine and game of Scrabble.
I would say that a car is essential the village of Alberobello is quite beautiful, market day is also well worth getting up early for.
We enjoyed a fantastic holiday and would definitely recommend Trullo Serena as a tranquil family holiday, our only problem is trying to find a comparable villa next year."

| "The property, Serena, was ideally located, not far from Alberobello and in a lovely peaceful, tranquil setting. The pool was a favourite spot, and beautifully maintained. I would suggest some umbrellas around the pool, but that aside there was plenty of shade area from the heat of the day.
The tullo itself was fully equipped with good quality pots and pans and everything you could possibly want and need in the kitchen. The furnishings were tasteful and comfortable and it felt like home away from home.
I would have no hesitation recommending the property to family or friends."

| "Trullo Serena is located in a very rural part of Alberobello which is exactly what we were after. The trullo itself is lovely. Unfortunately there were problems with the management of the property just prior to our arrival so much of the first few days were taken with very helpful locals puttings things right on behalf of the owners. The pool was in a very dissapointing state on arrival and this problem was not 100% rectified unitl the day before our departure. We still made the most of the beautiful location and lovely local town which has many good restaurants. It is close to Trullo Olivia next door (about 100m) and our children enjoyed the company of the visiting children next door. Just as we thought the problems of Trullo got sorted three days into the holiday a large JCB arrived in the lane outside and worked for the next four days erecting large electricty pylons!!!. When this was complete a thunder storm arrived with hailstones the size of golf balls. Despite the interruptions we would consider staying at Trullo Serena again."

| "This property is out in the countryside, secluded apart from the other villa close by. There are good views of the surrounding countryside, full of fruit and olive trees. It is quiet but not too far away from Alberobello, just a 10 minute drive.
The villa is well equipped, and we enjoyed using the barbecue facilities. It is peaceful and ideal for people who wish to get away from it all."
