| "The size and layout of the apartment was very good indeed. The location was ideal, only 3 mins walk to the beautiful beach and 10 mins walk to local amenities.
However I was disappointed with the overall cleanliness of the apartment. The bathrooms were clean and the beds freshly made, however the floors hadnt been mopped, there was dust everywhere, and the sofa covers has a very unpleasant smell. There was no hot water on arrival. The caretaker was very prompt in fixing the boiler however it took us 24 hours to realise that to take a hot shower we couldnt have other appliances on i.e. cooker, dishwasher, AC, because it would trigger the boiler."

Overall excellent property which is in good condition, spacious and very comfortable. TV had cable/satellite which had a number of English channels. Operator supplied a small welcome basket with coffee, tea, sugar and biscuits. The self-catering facilities for a family were excellent.
Last time we visited Armação de Perawe, stayed at Hotel Garbe (200m down the beach) and I would stay here again rather than there for quality and value for money.
Entry/Arrival instructions could have been clearer as we could not figure it out initially and as we arrived late there was no-one about to assist us - it was not described clearly where the key box was located. It appeared also that the key/card for the secure parking were missing as they were not located in the spot detailed in the instructions. It was not a problem when we visited as there was off-street parking outside the complex (in summer this may have been a problem) but as there was still plenty of parking we did not bother calling anyone.
The apartment does have a view of the ocean/coast looking south east (around the side of the building), but the balcony is positioned and faces inland (north east) over the road and neighboring hotel. Not a problem for us as we spent most of our time on the beach and it is still nice to have a balcony to relax on before heading out to one of the restaurants/bars on the beach.
Had a little problem with bath drainage in the en-suite bathroom but was easily fixed by temporarily removing the dro p plug. Everything else was in good working order.
I highly recommend "A Tasca" down near the fishermans beach (old town area) for dinner. You should book in advance to avoid missing out as its only small and seems to be very popular."

| "met our needs adequately,although the "sea view" was abit of an exaggeration.no towel change during the week which disappointedus,we had no contact with the office or reception staff except for a chance encounter.other arrangements such as directions and acess arrangements were fine and the apartment complex was well situated and the facilities adequate.all in all an enjoyable break,apart from the towels!"

| "Wir waren sehr, sehr zufrieden. Wunderbare Anlage, direkt am Strand, alles sehr gepflegt, freundliche Hilfe vor Ort. Winziger Wermutstropfen: Die Küche könnte ein paar neuer Pfannen gebrauchen. Und der Balkon geht zur Straße raus. Aber sonst: Nur empfehlenswert und ein sehr angenehmes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis."

| "Excellent location in the quieter area of Armacao de Pera. Beach excellent. Pool adequate. Shops a good distance away but no problem. Only problem we had we received change of towels first week and none second week which was inconvenient. No reception facility. Overall I would recommend this complex."

| "Lovely apartment in pleasant surroundings. Furnished to a good standard and spotlessly clean. Direct access to beach was great. Resort itself was very quiet (went mid April) and also the pool was not heated so water was too cold to enjoy (especailly for children).
Owner was very helpful in lead up to holiday."

| "My husband and I spent a lovely month at the apartment in Clube Nautilus. It was very clean and bright and well appointed. Plus the price for this long stay was excellent. Though the balcony faced the street on the east side, the noise was not a bother. The complex is very well maintained and in a location that allows for easy beach access as well as within a short walking distance into Armacao de Pera, a city with everything one could need. We loved to hear the ocean at night and to watch the waves during the day. Thank you for a fabulous winter get-away."
